So many Bitcoin investors always look out to when the price will be appropriate to fill the bag of bitcoin holdings, that is why they always look forward to bitcoin drops in price to buy more. So am putting this question to you what is your set price to buy more bitcoin during this dip?
Bitcoin accumulation price would vary and this do depends on;

1. Technical analysis patterns
2. Sudden Fundamental changes
3. Own preference or intuition on getting in

When accumulating cheap bitcoins on specific price then its up to you on when you would be doing so.
So everything would be totally in random i would say.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

For me everything below 50% is an opportunity. I don't look for total bottom because most of us will never be able to predict that. All we can do is choose a level we're comfortable with and be patient afterwards. People who keep searching for the bottom are the ones paying huge exchange fees for buying and selling just to be that 2% closer to the bottom not realizing how much they're losing in the process. I started buying at 35k and kept buying until 29k where I run out of fiat money. I feel comfortable holding this even if we fell lower and I can wait until the next halving.

My minimum target price is $100k. If we won't reach it in 3 years I'll probably rethink my strategy.

There is indeed no such thing as timing the market allthough a lot of people keep trying it. I bought some BTC at around this prize (30k) but my next big buy will be when they go under 20k (which will hopefully not happen anymore). Most of my bitcoins I bought at around 3000$ so I am still in profit.

BIG WINNER!

.

It's not so difficult to understand, I mean we buy bitcoin at a low price, then wait for an increase in the bitcoin price, using a long-term investment pattern, so we can make a sales target at any high price, then where is the difficulty
80k is far from 800 millions so I don't see any connection or need for correction? it is clearly that you are talking about not related topics .
but anyway yeah thanks for clarification yet my stands will remain and that is there might be a decline now but I am still looking for increase at least before the year ends?

I hold the same opinion, bitcoin in a way is like any other product, if a very expensive house you have been wanting to buy was given a 50% discount what would you do? Would you wait until the discount raised to 60% or would you run to buy it right now? The truth is that you do not know if the discount will ever reach 60% as there could be someone which buys it before it reaches that point, so even if you could eventually buy the house for a cheaper price the opportunity right now is so good that you cannot let it pass.

Just DCA. I mean now is a FANTASTIC time to buy, but smart investors are DCAing through this whole bear market instead of trying to guess a bottom.

Best advice is DCA constantly except for a handful of months when it seems like bull run could be close to nearing a top.

All my money is in crypto so I don't have anything to DCA with, but I did pick up a bit extra Bitcoin as it dropped through the $30,000s, averaging $34.3k or so. If I had an income I'd be DCAing as heavy as I could all through this period like I was in early 2019.

So am putting this question to you what is your set price to buy more bitcoin during this dip?
For me, there no fixed price to buy Bitcoin during this dip.
However, with the price of BTC being 30k at the time of posting, and if I am following my binance chart well, then I would say buy at or below 28 or 25k. Though I doubt if it'll ever drop below that price again

hold the same opinion, bitcoin in a way is like any other product, if a very expensive house you have been wanting to buy was given a 50% discount what would you do? Would you wait until the discount raised to 60% or would you run to buy it right now? The truth is that you do not know if the discount will ever reach 60% as there could be someone which buys it before it reaches that point, so even if you could eventually buy the house for a cheaper price the opportunity right now is so good that you cannot let it pass.
I agree to disagree with you as well
Well you can buy the house at a 50% like you said and the price drops by 15% and remains that way over time what do you think your friends who were patient untill the very end would say?
And at the same time you can procrastinate and stall all you want waiting for the so called price dip you need and before you realize it, time is already gone and the price is always on a steady rise while you were wasting time waiting for a dip.
But the whole point of this is that, you should buy according to the plan that favours your investment strategy
Like for a long-term hold, buy at the current price and hold
And for a short-term holder or trader, wait for the dip (don't forget to do your analysis to know how long a dip you can buy from)

The last time I bought bitcoin was about 10 days ago when the price was around $28k, but of all the bitcoins I've ever bought and still keep the average price is around $47600, of course if I sell now I'm losing a lot, but I have big goals namely hold for the long term.
you have a Big Goals like Holding so you should not need to tell this everything here because there is no need to be bother when you are a Holder instead you will take that advantage in buying while the price is cheaper like now.

keep the funds inside your wallet , and try accumulating as many as possible before the skyrocket happens.

snip

How random will that be and what are the criteria for making that decision, jumping in look like a bad idea but getting in when the market is down seem to be the best choice.
but that is what we all do, getting into the currency when the price is dumping  not unless you are a risker that wanted to buy while the price is pumping .

Whenever MicroTragedy gets margin called out of the market.  It will happen.  I’ve been calling this bear market since last year and we’re heading sub $20k.  I don’t think sub $10k but somewhere in between $10k-$20k is the bottom in this cycle IMO.  This is just the beginning, as we slowly see tech companies stagger… first Netflix, then Snapchat.  Coinbase stock is more of a bargain now than bitcoin, though even that could dip harder with the rest of the market.

Since the institutional move into crypto, it really moves with the markets, aside from the occasional good/bad crypto news that carries it off that general trend.  But you can predictably see how the western/global economy is weighing on crypto lately.  We will face a market crash in the US and that will wipe out Michael Sayalator.

Bumping because I called it pretty accurately, now waiting for that sub $20k dip (and short slide) incoming at any moment now.  Also can’t wait to watch Saylor get margin called and MicroTragedy garbage get wiped out of the market.  What you all don’t realize is these Wallstreeterz are bad juju.  Saylor buying 91k coins and being so boastful about it put a target on bitcoin.

One more advices is to look at user registration date, not post count.  Not everyone has time to sit around racking up thousands of posts on a forum, but may have the legacy knowldege and better understanding of the market.

Those that bought more Bitcoin in the last 24 hours have bought at a very good price and this entry point is the best since the price is relatively low at the moment and for those bog bag holders this is another opportunity to engage more bags to cause weak hands are busy selling at low price.

Currently i have about 0.875 btc which i have accumulated since the last 8 months, the most expensive price i bought was october when the price was around $55k, and the cheapest price was april when the price was around $32k, and if calculated then i lost more than $15k, but I'll hold on because I have long-term goals.

That said any Bitcoin you own will most certainly make you profits in 4 years. But you will soon learn that the most shitty moments like now are the best moments to buy...

So am putting this question to you what is your set price to buy more bitcoin during this dip?
200 Weekly Moving average and the $20,000 price range.

That's 2 alone is 2 opportunities for me to accumulate more Bitcoin. As of this moment, Bitcoin is now below the 200 Weekly moving average which means it is another buying opportunity for me and I did accumulate some Bitcoins a few hours ago.

Now I believe that the next long term support is the $20,000 or near to it. That price is the 2017 resistance and now it is the support already. If it goes to that level again then I will buy Bitcoins again. Take the opportunity now that we are officially in a bear market already. If you have spare money and you know what you're doing then by all means accumulate. I believe in dollar-cost average but patience and waiting for the price you set will also help you.

today Bitcoin is valued at $21,184, my speculation is not a price that can be set to be pocketed, I tend to be more confident when Bitcoin goes to $10,000, definitely when the Bitcoin price can reach as I said, I will try my best and buy save for the future.

Of course people have their own views to wait for the price they think is right to buy.

How I wish I still have some money. I bought at $28k and didn't imagine it could come at this point. Well, I don't have regrets about it but it could've been more sweeter buying more Bitcoin at this point.
The idea of taking a loan in the bank even crossed my mind because of this cheap price but I just don't like being in debt as it puts stress to my every day thoughts. Might not even get a good sleep if I do that.
Yes, congratulations to those patient enough to buy at this point. More BTC to come.

I bought some at 20k today and i think that the highest i can accumulate for now, let see how the market will turn out to be in the next couple of days or weeks to come, and very sure the price of Bitcoin will not go below 20k this time.

Bitcoin price movement is still not stable and so far has shown no signs of experiencing a price increase, looking at the history of bitcoin price movements, of course buying it at $20K is a good move, but I personally doubt for some reason if bitcoin has reached its current low price , I'll probably be netting $17K-$18K this week because it looks like the bitcoin price has the potential to drop below $20K

Those that bought more Bitcoin in the last 24 hours have bought at a very good price and this entry point is the best since the price is relatively low at the moment and for those bog bag holders this is another opportunity to engage more bags to cause weak hands are busy selling at low price.
Bitcoin price movement is still not stable and so far has shown no signs of experiencing a price increase, looking at the history of bitcoin price movements, of course buying it at $20K is a good move, but I personally doubt for some reason if bitcoin has reached its current low price , I'll probably be netting $17K-$18K this week because it looks like the bitcoin price has the potential to drop below $20K
if time is not taken bitcoin price might go back to the price or Bitcoin in 2018 and 2017, because the red who shows every time encrypto currency world and the market right now indicate that's no bond that shows the sign of Bitcoin going higher in 2022 so I'm a silly not bitcoin price I'm only fall back 50,000 and 60000 next year because this period or this month chat showing no evidence of increments this time, so I believe not before bitcoin will increase again is the most be a year of 2024

If calculated on average the average bitcoin that I save is at $ 52k, the mistake that occurs with me is buying when the price of rising, the highest price I have bought is around $ 62k, and once sold in April when the price of $ 38k, when the price Then red like a few days ago then there was no choice for me other than hold and not panic.
