This is a serious problem for the people who are in this situation. Because I believe that people should be able to gamble with cryptocurrencies no matter the gambling company is working in their country or not. It isn't an illegal act for these people theoretically. People can use any crypto exchange they want to transfer money and buy cryptocurrencies with it. After doing that, people are free to use it in the way they want as long as they don't launder money or else.

As some governments restrict people about accessing these gambling websites, these people are using VPN to gamble like this anyway.

I think it's because of the regulation of a country that prohibits gambling so people there are not allowed to gamble but are still looking for casinos that allow them to gamble. If their country prohibits gambling, it is illegal because if these people are caught, they can be subject to punishment in their country.

It will also apply if that person uses crypto. They can even be penalized twice for violating the rules that make gambling illegal and using crypto as a medium for gambling.

That's why many people still use VPNs to gamble but don't think about the consequences if they get caught by a casino using a VPN because there are casinos that don't allow VPNs.

And it's where the drama started, the gamblers will blame to the casino because they're freeze his funds and ask KYC while he doesn't did anything wrong. Obviously he doesn't did any cheat way or looking for a loophole etc, but he's using VPN and it's the casino right to ask his KYC. I think those people who're using VPN is a real gamblers since they're mostly lose all of their money, either they lose streak or ask to submit KYC.
