Whether there was a manager behind the scene or not, the campaign didn't go like something that was managed. The campaign participants were the worse spammers.
Problem with 1xbit signature campaign participants was more about promoting scammy gambling sites than anything else. I mean sure, they were shitposters but not any worse that you can find in some of the other currently running campaigns.

There's no manager that could tolerate what happened in 1xbit campaign, that's why I concluded the were without managers.
Have you seen the shitposts made by some members of Stake campaign that are obviously counted and paid for?

The issue with 1xbit is complex and they brought it upon themselves. Had it been they were wise and handled the situation well, especially those who are complaining here, it wouldn't have been so terrible for them. It only got to the stage that people were no more patient but tagging any campaigner for the casino. But it is not that those who were campaigning for them were bad. Many of those guys are just victims of it and we've discouraged these items without a number. Some are indeed good posters and not shitposters, but due to the impatience of those who tagged them, by not even giving them a direct fair warning, they often tagged them. They are actually not lesser than all other posters here.

It only got worse during the time they wanted to move out of the forum as they were desperate to accept all accounts including those hopeless and redundant ones.

Also, @KingsDen, there was a manager behind it, but not the regular name here. However, when it got to their last times here, I think they were communicating off the forum since no official communication but many were joining. They can't join without a directive, otherwise, they will not be paid. I wonder if they even paid the last weeks before they disappeared.

I was just generalizing about having a running campaign without a manager be it internally or externally.

How is it that there is a signature campaign running and there is nobody managing it? Is that even possible. How are the participants vetted and chosen? How are their posts regularly checked and counted? How do the participants get paid? How are they assessed whether they're still worth keeping for the week that follows? Certainly, it's not being run by a bot or an AI.

All this means there must be somebody out there managing the campaign. Whether that is hired from the forum or somebody belonging to the team itself or a staff who is also doing other tasks for the company, the point is somebody is a manager for their marketing here.

Even to a shady company as 1xbit, I guess they didn't just accept all applicants on a first come, first served basis and pay them weekly without even counting their posts or checking whether they're posting or not. There's always somebody managing the promotion.
I understand you very well, but I insist that it has happened here in the forum that a campaign ran for a long time without a manager. Let me try to explain. When I joined this forum newly, I discovered that 1xbit was among the high paying campaigns then apart from chipmixer which was exceptional, followed by Bestchange which was paying $100 per week. 1x launched a campaign that was paying legendary as high as $150 and members were recieving upto $30 or $20. They had a manager with the username "1xbit manager", ofcourse a new account. But it didn't take long that they started running into troubles, the manager was multi tagged as well as the participants.

In order to keep going they launched another campaign. That is having two campaigns simultaneously. This went on untill their spreadsheet was no longer visible and no one was coming out public to announce as the manager. This was exactly when no one was playing the role of a manager. They no longer check quality of post, they no longer check how many days it took to complete the post, just that someone was sending payment weekly. Someone sending out payment doesn't really mean they are managing the campaign. Besides, some managers do not make payment but the team does. It will be right to say that at a time, 1xbit had no manager.
