Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market

I thought that every coin will reach new ATH in the new bullish season, but it's not even they are top coins.
Thta is why I better ony focus on Bitcoin, or maybe some for BNB.

Yes for some certain coins are like this.
it is actually not easy to differentiate wich coins are likely going to rise up and survive in ther ans or not. but, like what happen to the comeptitors of Ethereum at that period, they are likely losing and no developing.

Make sense but expecting there will always be a huge changes in the coinmarketcap is not true at all. This is actually following the trend but sometime the useful blockchain/project can't be replaced easily and by the way you are too fast to think like that.
I know that bearish market bring very bad impact to the crypto but this doesn't mean if this will be changing a lot.

These are pretty valid points. However some alts like xmr, ltc, doge and eth survived the previous bear markets and I think they will survive this one too. Most alts are shitcoins but there are some good ones too. As long as you don’t invest in no-name pump&dump total shitcoins, you’ll do well in the next bull market.

Eth will be around and will keep its spot in top10 that is what I know.

First of all, so much crypto money came out in the bull in 2017 that everyone invested heavily in the next bull period with the thought that these cryptocurrencies would work. So far, only etherum has dropped drastically and then can rise again to its highest price in 2021. It eventually will but the next 12 months will be the most difficult time due to the 40-yr high inflation. People are cutting expenses, saving money for the uncertainty. Most will not have extra cash for investing in crypto and some have sold investments at loss to store cash for food. They do believe in crypto but they also need bread to get to those days.

You have a point, many new altcoins will not reach ATH because of this bear market, and in the next bull run we can maybe see new project with a new hype from the crypto enthusias, but i think there are also altcoins that will rise soon the only problem is that we cant point out directly we need a long research and analization from the altcoins that we wanted to hold until the next bull run.

All of the three reasons that you lists are correct. 1, many alts will never reach their ath because not all alts have a good use case but majority of them are just junks and only driven by the hype. 2, no one gets fooled of it don't worry.

The top 20 of cmc is already an high alert zone, I mean it was not the same as the top 3 or the top 5 which coins are rarely replaced on their position because coins on these group are already solid. 3, how many times it happened that a useless alt gets replaced easily by a better alt or a new alt? Many people says that investing in a new coin is risky but if we know how to pick a coin, a new coin can be more worth it than the old coin that we are holding now.

Of course buying any, even the top altcoins now is very risky, but what you say that some coins will be lost from the top is not true. Just look at LTC, XMR, XRP, they have so far survived similar bear markets and have large capitalisation. So if you look at the maximum risk/reward, you can buy time-tested altcoins.

You might not say the same for Ethereum, bud. I believe it is been there since. Obviously Bitcoin will stay in #1 and it would be there as long as we wanted to but since you're mentioning altcoins, I wouldn't look into that.
Altcoin ranks like around >Top 5 had changed for quite some time. I even recall some user here showing the snapshots of CMC back in previous years and I recall when Dogecoin was like in top 5 though someone could correct me if I am wrong at that.

Through this year, Tron has been a bit stable. People got quick profit there. I wonder why it didn't enter your analysis. Anyway, if you don't but alt coins, you would not reap the dividend when others do. I'll advise you to monitor and reevaluate your stands in time before it is too late.

Coins are the one which get listed at the top if there's a token maybe we can only see them on more lower at the rankings. Also I trust the top coins more than any altcoins which struggle to enlist at the top because obviously those tokens died especially when there's a bear market season happening. So I guess you need to change your point of view if you want to earn and also alway DYOR.
