I am starting with this title as today I made an experiment,I studied what bookies consider favorite in the games with low odds and I think I have achieved great results,won like 5 bets out of 8 multi tickets.I used to play slot machines and kept losing in the long run,and no matter that I started 2024 with an over x11000 win on January 3rd I have lost a whole lot more by continuing playing slot machines.In slot machines you don't control a deep shit and rely completely on luck which on the long run is totally against anyone of us,name me one person who have won more than lost over time,yeah no one,even those who won jackpots.

I am angry at myself not slots,being an idiot trying the luck there when a simple search and studying of events can bring you great results like that above,6 out of 8 multi tickets and I am in about 300.000 IDR or 20 dollars profit without getting angry at bearing the losing of slots.

I'm also a slots player, but I think you're missing the point of what @swogerino said. There is nothing wrong with the statement he made there, I don't know since when you actually played slots, but I'm sure that I have more experience than you. Be objective in assessing things, we have to be honest with what really happens in slot games, it's really just a game of luck. This is different from sports betting which requires effort, analysis or whatever to increase your chances of winning. Can you increase your chances of winning in slots? of course not, it's all luck and just waiting for your luck to come.

I feel you, bro. My highest multiplier in slots is x200 and that happened recently. I was supposed to be amazed at how large the multiplier was but when I consider all the losses, I am still unhappy with the results.
The saddest part is, after that x200 multiplier it took back everything including my capital. That may be the worst experience I had playing slots. I mean, I totally know that could happen but there was this little thought that I might win back all that I have lost in that game. Sadly, I don't think that will happen anytime or even in the future. I may just be wasting my time and money from my expectation that I can win it all back.

Well one person that plays everyday will not call that often a big win if he hits it once every month,he will not think that he is asking for to much at least this is my logic when playing slots,since I play every day I think that once a month I should at least hit a max win especially if I play the same slot all over again.Pragmatic made me learn the hard way there is no such thing unfortunately and although I agree there is nothing wrong chasing the big win and don't expecting to often to hit it I know that with the passing of time this will lead to addiction which is better to stop it before it gets there as once there then there is no way back.

Gamblers like slots because it's a brainless game. They just want to relax and have a good time with some chances of making profit in the end. Of course it comes with a price when compared to sports betting, for an example. I believe it is not the slots that are the problem but rather how players play slots. The problem I see with slot players is that they are not contented with minimum multiplier wins.  Many of these slots players (including me) do not stop playing until we hit 1000x+ multiplier.  Others even try to get more winnings which often results in a loss.

I also do not understand why people refuse to be convinced that these games are nothing more than software controlled by developer teams and complex systems that can be controlled. The explanation that I find logical in this case is that users enjoy game designs and are tempted by the coordination of colors and elements. Otherwise, why would someone refuse to actually bet on their luck in sports betting?

I consider that these reasons alone are sufficient to make me immediately stop practicing it, and in the most extreme cases that I become addicted, it is possible to compensate for it with betting games or even roulette. For me it is just that,the fact that they in most slots add some extreme multipliers which can go to big,I mean really big wins is what bring people to chase them,personally I think that these complex software developing teams are making the games even more tempting by adding new elements to the addiction.

There is Pragmatic Play which is happy with their shitty multipliers up to x21000 max as far as I know and there is Play n Go which lately is really pushing the limit,they had the x100 max multiplier but to that they added sticky wilds in games with such multipliers making the chance to win huge.These are the elements which deceive people.
