Do real traders care about bear & bull market?

Well I'm not trading when the market in this condition, but maybe for some people who are really the expert in trading still can make a lot of money when the bear market happens. I've heard that a guy who loses more than 50% recovers even if the market is in bear condition. Profit is not coming from bull or bear season but when you have a good strategy and your strategy is on point then profit will come to you.

That is the general population, you can see that from the volume as well, because it is not traded nearly as much as it used to be. That means that we are talking about a market where most people are trying to stay away from as much as they possibly can. This isn't going to change in a single day, but it will certainly be something that will last a while. People like you and me and many others will stay away from trading until it is a bit better.

I still do investments, but that is different from trading, I buy and hold but I do not buy and sell right away, I am waiting for it to go towards 100k before I can even consider selling it, that is still valid for me.

Of course yes a true/real trader cares about the bull and bear as they can use it to their own advantage like when it's bear they will mostly buy but in bulls they will mostly sell. On the market these days, the price still continues to move. It is still fluctuating so traders can still use this window of opportunity to trade and make some profits.

Those who stop are maybe too stressed out seeing this kind of market so they take a break for good. They can be composed of real and fake traders. As far as I know the phrase "playing it safe" doesn't totally mean that we will stop doing an act but it just means that we will continue doing the act but we must be extra careful this time.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with what he said.
A trader, moreover day traders, will always trade every day in order to take profits by utilizing every up and down price of the coins that they are trading. That is why they need certain analyses of the charts and indicators. I know that it may not be all of them, but most traders may do the same.
Many traders also trade in the future market or with leverage, so they can utilize the up and down by positioning Long or Short position.
This is coruse, not easy, very risky, yes exactly. But, this is what a trader commonly does in order to take profits and earn money in every condition. For, not all people are able to do long-term holding. Some prefer to trade daily to earn profits.
is there any guarantee to always make a profit?
of course not.
But, commonly a trader will know what to do when to do it, and how the ways to make higher profits than its losses. In one day, a trader may experience both losses and profits. This is very common to them.
However, if we are not good traders, newbies, or not ready with the market changes, it is better to play safe and do what we are able to do.

Safe means adjusting the state of the market at that time. All traders certainly take advantage of the bull or bear.' That's for sure, they're taking advantage of that market movement. If there wasn't that from where would they benefit?
This instability is what allows traders to enter or leave the market. So they should really care about price increases or decreases. Because basically all traders have the goal of making a profit. Their is no particular time for trading,  trading can be done at any time whether the market is bearish or bullish and profit can still be made . Trading when the market is bearish can be complicated to some beginners who are not good enough. A trader who is well experienced can trade even in the bearish season and make better profit. Of course, they put their money at risk doing trading as they see a bigger chance to make a profit from it. Traders will remain in trading as it was their life. While I agree that traders can do their jobs whether the market is going up or down, at the same time I think there are market conditions which should not be traded and it is better to stay on the sidelines during that period.

As an analogy think about driving a car, cars are now very versatile and they can move at many different terrains and in many different weather conditions, and yet there are terrains and weather conditions in which driving is very dangerous and if possible we should avoid it, and I think the markets are similar, as the risk you are taking is too high compared to the profits you can get if you trade under some conditions which very adverse to trading.

Agreed with that crypto trader which says real traders don't quit because they always understand how to go with the market.
However, that does mean traders that quit trading in this bear market don't have confidence in their abilities as ven7net stated because it's called knowing your limit and I once write from someone on this forum who make a statement that consciousness is not foolishness.

What I understand you guys to understand is that crypto traders do care about bear and bull markets because what they want is profit. Meanwhile, what most traders do in this current market is long or make use of bots.

Day traders or not, we all end up being a trader but I agree with what he said that there's always the opportunity whether the market is bearish or bulls.
I think it's just all about pride in what he said when he mentioned "real traders". And there's nothing wrong calling all of those brave traders to be real and have been trading no matter what the season is.
