I've also placed orders to buy at 19k, 18.5k, and 17k. but I still doubt that my targets 2 and 3 can be achieved. Instead, seeing the current chart conditions, I want to try to trade futures. You have a good investment plan, but the problem is it's hard to tell when bitcoin will certainly reach that point. Although the market looks more bearish, but the movement of bitcoin is still unpredictable. It goes back and forth, up and down. How about try DCA so you will never miss the perfect opportunities to buy. Setting a good price when to buy is good, but as bitcoin is highly volatile, we can never tell if it has reached its bottom price or not.

No one would able to predict on whats the bottom and to those who had waited and sell off on 21k did made a good choice considering the price had plummet once again and its not a bad time for us to re-enter in

the market where currently the price is decreasing once again and thats how unpredictable this market is but of course each decision had been made would really be having no guarantees or sureness that it would
happen.For those who are going for long term then these movements wont really be causing any issues.

For those who do trade and make short on minimal amount of time then it isnt really a bad idea to play up with these price movements which i would say that it is

It is true no one can tell the last dip or last pump for cryptocurrency. But we can guess it, Which is very much in line with the market conditions. We have been with cryptocurrency for a long time so we have come up with an idea based on which we can think about the market conditions and determine the time of investment. Nobody knows exactly when we will reach the bottom, it's predictions and only time will tell if we were right or wrong. Similar to your approach I have been buying bitcoins for the last two months now. Buying every 4 weeks seems like a good interval to take advantage of the dip abs get a good average price. Your 2 orders are fine if the price will drop further. But what if the worst is already behind us and prices are recovering? Than you will have missed out on investing 50% if your money.

Markets indicate another drop will come, but we will never be able to determine the exact bottom level of the market.
Rather than waiting for the low to come, we can buy at the levels that are closest to the bottom and dca when there is a new bottom to come across.
In the DIP market, you should split your buy orders into smaller pieces and buy in stages should not wait.

This is the best way or rather, strategy to invest,  asking when is the best time to buy is actually wrong because there is no best time to buy Bitcoin or any other crypto currency because prices are highly unpredictable, somebody can tell you the best time to buy is when the price is at $19,000, and you buy at $19,000, only to price go down  below $18,000 few hours later.
So the best thing to do is to use the DCA strategy, that is buying an equal amount at every dip while waiting for price to rise.

If the price is recovering, you buy EVERY DIP, which will end higher than the last DIP, average up instead of average down.

He knows it already that it's hard to predict the price that's why he decided to came up with a plan like that and I think it was still like a dca because he did already bought some but then he prefer to keep the other half of his money in preparation in case price dips more.

It seems he is contented already so it's not a big deal if the price continues to rise and never fall again and there won't be a hard feeling if ever price starts to nose dive because he didn't risk huge but he will be glad because he can try his other plan and that is buying bitcoin at a much cheaper rate. Yes, when placing it in that context you are completely right, but some exceptions can be made, it is not bought at once, but is done gradually, which if you have a specific balance can be divided up to 4 equal parts, in case the market drops at least 3 times after we make the purchase, if it is that way it can be done, but only if it is in BTC, in another currency it is practically a waste of money, but I think that It is the best way to buy. We really shouldn't be in a hurry to buy crypto, even though the market is showing a positive trend right now. Because we are still in a bear market,
so there is still a possibility that the market will go down again. It should be when Bitcoin is still below $20k that's the best time to buy, but buying
now is very risky. Like you said it's better we wait for a while first to make sure the market really recovers. I suggest that for now it's better to just
monitor the market first for the next few days, and after that we can re-analyze whether it is worth buying crypto or not.

The question is did the price of bitcoin you are thinking is happen? because as far as I know bitcoin did not drop that much in the market, but its price played in the range of 18k$ to 24k$ which can be said as it can possible just a bull trap were until now most coins in the market have turned green due to the rise of bitcoin but now it has fallen again to 22k$ and it looks like it will fall even more to 20k $ per Bitcoin.
