Can you make more money participating in bounties or airdrops? I made the most money doing airdops so far, like the one from Uniswap, but long term, I think bounties like the one from candlelabsdotorg will pay off better. What do you think? Sometimes the tasks involved to receive airdrops, like the one coming up from Metamask, are actually more complicated and costly than bounties.

There is not a lot of money in either of those two anymore, however if I were to guess even if airdrops may seem like the best choice to some, I have read several complains against them as users never receive the payment they were offered.

Also it is up to discussion if we can call airdrops that way when in many cases you need to actually fulfill some task to receive the airdrop, which makes it way more similar to a bounty to an airdrop if you ask me.

Airdrops before are way too different from the airdrops that exist today. I earned a good amount of funds from airdrops before that I used for my long-term investments. Old airdrops won't require you a lot of tasks that will risk your personal details or social media accounts. You just have to register and wait for the rewards and they pay with good values of altcoins. The airdrops that we have these days will ask you to do too many tasks but will only pay you trash coins.

The possibility of earning from airdrops is quite slim, considering the fact that most projects turn out to be unsuccessful. Bounties are not very lucrative, but when you're fortunate to have a good bounty manager, it's possible to earn a decent amount. The best approach to earning in the forum is obviously by rendering services and participating in signatures that pay in bitcoin or stable coins.

Bitcointalk bounty programs are not as lucrative as they used to be.
Form type airdrops are a waste of time, most of them are scams anyway.
For airdrops, you can try your luck for "use to earn" style airdrops. Join testnets and use platforms that don't yet have tokens...

Talking about airdrop nowadays for me it's hard to trust and earn through airdrop cause as we know that many scam sites catch your attention to participate with them but at the end of the day, they will leave without any further notice.  And in bounty campaigns yes you can earn money by joining bounty campaign which is the tweeter, youtube and others but what they are telling is that you need to find a good one so that you can earn. But if you need good income for sure getting a job is more effective.

Many of those did not pay out in the end and one even attempted to bait me into their phishing site through email. Happy to hear that you still earned back then though, but surely it is not efficient as it was back then. You might be better off in non-crypto related stuffs to earn more now.
In the long term, it is not something you could make "living of".

I am getting good payment from the signature campaign that I am wearing right now. In my opinion, as long as we can have an exact reward, it is very worthy to follow. It may be different with the bounty that is paid with their own token, in which the reward is still not clear, based on stakes, or it is still even not sure that the tokens will be listed and worthy or not later.

I heard about this, many people can earn very high rewards from certain airdrops. But, this is too rare to find the worthy rewards for airdrop, isn't it?

Basically, bounties are designed to pay better than airdrops. But recently, some of the bounties that I participated in have made payments that is very small that makes me wonder if bounties are now modified airdrops. Bounties involves more tasks while airdrops are simpler. Ideally, participating in bounties should fetch more money than airdrops, but my recent experience makes me wonder what bounties are turning to, are airdrops now better? I have also observed that there is increasing number of scam bounties. Once in a while you could meet bounties that pay well. I think bounty managers should look into ways to attract worthwhile projects that pay bounty hunters bounty reward not like airdrops.

You're right, the mechanism is very well designed as a promotion rather than the same like airdrop. Sometime airdrop was just also designed as a promotion but this is only following and reposting tasks. Bounty is always related with the promotion that already done by the team to increase the engagement and followers in the market. So bounty was paying better than airdrop but sometime this can be a scam like airdrop as well if the dev was fooling the participants.
Legit airdrop has very strict requirements.

The thing is that now this type of earnings is not the same as it was before. It takes a lot of time to find something that really deserves attention and time spent. Moreover, the situation on the market is very sad. And at best, ten percent out of a hundred appear projects with a promising future. So there is no definite answer to this question. Use your time wisely. The best thing is to direct your potential to learning and gaining skills in the cryptographic field and IT technologies in general.

Airdrops have somewhat gained a bad reputation like ICO projects and this is due to the spread of scam projects, it is good that they have disappeared from the forum. Therefore, whoever wants to do some simple tasks and try his luck, he should participate in the Airdrops on Coinmarketcap, where the success rate does not exceed 1%, so the bounty is the best for everyone in earning free tokens, but you have to work in the bounties that are managed by trusted BM.

To me, the two are not much different, both have the same goal of promotion the project. Only the way it works is slightly different, airdrops often have instant tasks that can be completed in no more than a day, but bounties often have long tasks or durations to promote a little long. Airdrops of these days comes with the cost of paying for your gas fee which may be exhausting especially when it's on the ethereum blockchain. Even after spending on the gas fee, there's no certain that the project would do well. The cost of bounties are your time and data. Most bounties are not lucrative, but when you're fortunate to have a good project, then it could be very lucrative.

Airdrop is the best because it didn't require any complicated rather than holding a certain or use a particular dapps to received tokens. Bounty is now useless compared to the old campaigns since the bounty funds is always in a form of tokens that has no guarantee that will gain value right after the IDO.

Startup project nowadays used launchpad to get funds much faster while mediocre project stick to the tradiotional way of ICO and rely on bounty for marketing which always result to failure to accumulate sufficient fund to continue the project.

This is what makes bounties something worth giving a shot, you said it yourself that you will get paid in a token that may or may not get listed or even have any value on the long run, what about those that ends up having great value? Hahan! Few bounties have paid reasonable amount of money too.

If I prefer bounty, because there are many bounty projects that can make money and they often pay us according to the time that has been determined, but there are also some bounty that cannot reward the performance of the followers so that they disappear without any news, and for airdrops when it is difficult to find those who can pay us fully, but if we find a good one then the payment given is greater than the bounty project.

If talking about airdrops, it's not as much worth following as it used to be,
actually both airdrops or bounties are equally profitable as long as we can use them well but if I had to choose one I would prefer to join the signature campaign,
obviously everyone has a choice depending on preferences

But there are definitely some differences between these two methods of earning free crypto. I joined both Bounties and airdrops a few years ago and base on my experience, bounties are more profitable at that time.
Right now, both of them aren't worth your time (for me). The amount of money you can get is very low compare to the amount of time you are spending.

If you really want to make money, be a freelancer, learn a skill and use it to get online jobs. Relying on both airdrops and bounties themselves isn't enough. TBH, working 9-5 is better than working on these 2.

There are two different sides to participation in Airdrop and Bounty, although both are free programs that generate coins, Airdrop itself is currently starting to lose the interest of many people, while the bounty is still quite large. Bounty campaigns have some way of working social media, and signature campaigns, but so far I personally prefer signature campaigns, moreover you can be accepted on service campaigns that are paid for using BTC

Bounty and airdrop totally different. airdrop just collect group members and social followers. airdrop not bring any investors. and 95% airdrops members is fake. After complete airdrop task all airdrop hunters are go offline and they search another airdrop. They are not help to actual  promote for any project.  but on the bitcointalk bounty here all bounty hunters is real and they will work for your project regularly. and it will bring investors and increase  project social active activity and increase  project  demand and population
