what was the game looked out, saw just a score, being on a small vacation wasn't able to watch it, but will be at home to hear stadium crowd in a re-match

I watched this game not in full on second screen.From what I saw Partizan didn't had advantage, Sheriff had their moments, especially that one must score moment in 1st half when they hit post. In general, this game wasn't easy to watch - bad quality pitch, empty stadium, it didn't looked like knockout stage of UEFA competition.

Back to Partizan, was the result correct or did Sheriff deserved a point? Seems not so long ago when they were terrorizing Real Madrid!

From what I saw, draw wouldn't be against logic. That season when they were doing miracles in Champions league, Sheriff played above their level, it will be very difficult to repeat something similar. Now they back to reality. Also, I think thatthere was lot of changes in their squad after that season.

I just read up and saw that I missed the fact buway actually booked a ticket on Cluj to beat Lazio... I know Lazio haven't been as good in recent times but this was at home and you saw yourself hopefully it was not even going to stop them playing with 10 men.

Because of all the stars of Napoli and other teams scoring well, we forgot that Ciro Immobile is a force to be respected at least by a team as bad as Cluj

1. Braga scores an early goal.
2. Ref helps with a red card for Fiorentina (Benoit Bastien, the guy who is going to ref today showed two red cards in Ligue 1 over the weekend).
3. The Portuguese clutch 3 more goals after the break to force the game to extra time and win. 5-0 Braga! The pipest dream of all pipe dreams. 😂


Now, seriously, i went with BTTS on Basel and Trabzonspor. I watched the highlights from the first leg, and even though it was just one goal both teams had plenty of chances to score more. Throughout the first legs, (Basel and Trabzonspor match) also had the highest combined xG. Reverse fixtures at this stage of the tournament typically produce more open football and goals, which is why i'm going with btts, though O2.5 has better odds and is just as good a bet.

It's strange for me that odds for Partizan win todayis not much lower than it was when they played away. 1.95 looks very attractive. I'm struggling to make picks today, so, one random and maybe a bit stupid bet - Cnipro-1 to qualify @2.60.

And week ago Braga looked like a favorite and betting on them to qualify is logical decision. No idea what happened to them in 1st leg.. Don't believe in Braga miracle comeback, so I just will go with over 2.5 goals there. BTTS is good option too probably.

Yes, and I'm doing it again. This time the odds are about halved but Lazio are away, stinging from the last week's almost-draw, I think 6/1 is still pretty okay. Haven't actually placed any bets yet of course, just waiting to see how things go.

@morvillz7z I'd have taken Braga too but again but seriously? 2x to qualify?, winnings not close tempting me enough and I think I agree... BTTS or some kind of Asian overs as an acca are the way to go for these ties! I'll share the good news if I get something.

Anderlecht leads 1-0 at home. Ludogorets won the first match 1-0. Now it's equalized. If the match ends like this, it will go into extra time. In the second half Anderlecht will increase the pressure and will look for the second goal.
There were no goals in the first half of the Cluj-Lazio match, Lazio won the first leg 1-0. If the match ends with this score, Lazio will be the winners. Lazio will do well even if they only play defense.
We didn't see a goal in the first half of the Dmipro-Larnaca game either. Larnaca are the more comfortable side. As long as they don't concede a goal, they will be fine.

What a dissapointment from Partizan they just lost a won duel they had 0-1 from previous match in the 1st leg and in the second leg they had a lead of 1-0 and were able to drop it all at home and lose 1-3 and get knocked out. Big shame from my team hopefully we get a new ownership because this is just a scanadal for us

Partizan didn't use their advantage from first match, and lost it at home, not sure what to think, but expected to see us in next round

on the bright side, Maximiano is getting chances on Lazio goal in Europa Conference league at least, and produced two clean sheet against Cluj (not that much of a success, but nice to see him between bars)

Basel still to go, solid odds on a home win, and they need it to equalize Trabzon lead from first match

After Anderlecht went 2-0 up, they couldn't defend this score and the match went into extra time. In extra time, the tie was not broken and the match went to penalties.
In the Lazio match, as I expected, there was no goal in the second half. Lazio didn't want to play with too much pressure thinking about the league. Because this result was enough for them. I thought they would win in extra time at worst. The Larnaca game ended in a draw in the same way and it was Larnaca who won the round.

Fiorentina - Braga

honestly i had expectations that braga could have won that game and that they would be able to move on to the next stage, but for some reason i don't know braga became a very inconsistent team, it doesn't seem like the same team that a few weeks ago managed to be consistent, if they were the same braga from weeks ago they would have won that game, but unfortunately they are at a time when they are not a good option to bet on them in European competitions, well they have already been eliminated, but even in the Portuguese league I will avoid betting on them

Lazio - CFR Cluj

in recent games lazio is not doing well in attack, they have not been able to score many goals, although their defense is good, but this way they will not go far, they passed this time because they were lucky, but if they find an opponent who scores many goals so they won't be as lucky as they were in this game

Basel - Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor became a weak team, I'm not surprised they were eliminated in this game

Trabzonspor, our representative in the conference league, has been eliminated with this away defeat. A sad result of course. It would have been good both in terms of national points and in these difficult days. Bakasetas' missed penalty was perhaps the decisive moment of the match.
Fiorentina won 3-2 at home and reached a total score of 7-2 against Braga. I can say it was a performance I didn't expect.
It was strange for Braga to score 7 goals against out of form Fiorentina when they were in such good form in the league.

If you look at the screenshot again you would notice it was taken before the 1st leg, hence me rooting for them to make the impossible today. Not quite, but i appreciate the effort.

Trabzonspor got to be the unluckiest team this round by far. Without actually watching the game, they appear to have missed a penalty, another one been shut down by VAR, had a couple of disallowed goals, and hit the post once. Lol  Out of 40+ goal attempts and 4+ xG in both matches, they've only scored one goal.

Did anyone watched Fiorentina - Braga game? There was interesting referee decision. Goal line technology confirmed that ball fully crossed goal line, but referees after watching replays for maybe 5 minutes over ruled decision and cancelled goal

After 34 minutes it really looked that Braga can make a comeback, they were up 2:0, but they ended with conceding 3 goals in a row

Partizan loss looks like big upset. They scored first goal and had 2:0 lead on aggregate. And then conceding 3 goals at home without response is terrible thing.
Good that decided to avoid betting on Lazio game, it's one of teams on my black list.

Trabzonspor after winning the Turkish league really went down in form from last season. I expected from them to go full power this season and do something big but they are bad in all competitions.
Lazio had a result and were just satisfied and after red card for Cluj they didnt want to do more.

@Joca97 it seems there are some teams who after winning a league, just used up all of their energy for that single purpose and then fall apart after that. Not just Trabzonspor, if you look at past 5 years we had the same in England (Liverpool) Spain (Atletico) France (Lille) and Italy (Inter).

Right after winning, they all did so badly in the followup season and until now you can't see them do anything.

Hope you did not take the Lazio/Cluj bet @buwaytress they did just exactly what Italian teams are supposed to do lol

not only in the europa league but also in the conference league the draw for the eighth finals was made today. maybe you can find your favorite club and see which hurdle they have to take on their way to the quarter finals.

Reminds me of Liverpool at a point, regularly getting 20+ shots on target and no goals, and I remember 2nd bottom on the VAR table which ESPN used to keep track off (the more benefits you get the higher up the table you are).

Mindblown. I thought goal-line tech, once triggered, is golden. And ref is alerted immediately, which is why it all works. Guess not anymore.

I expect that both Sivasspor and Başakşehir will be the side that will skip the round. Sivasspor may have a little more difficulty in the round. When we compare Fiorentina and gent, fiorentina has more weight.

Well good luck to your turkish teams, I think they have a good chance and it is about time we get to see someone outside of the normal clubs get to the final, I would love to see one of these two teams in the end!

Fiorentina along with West Ham seem like the biggest names in there, but we should not forget that Basel not so long ago was playing in Champions League alongside great teams
