I never believe whatever people say. I believe BNB, Ethereum, XRP, ADA, Tron all these coins will survive in the market as long as Bitcoin is in Cryptocurrencies. They can never be destroyed. Because all these coins are very suitable and popular to invest. I have bought and invested all these coins myself. I never think about all these coins getting destroyed. But if the market is good, all these coins will occupy a better place.

Those are top altcoins, I also believe that they will survive a long time. What we must avoid is holding meme coins or shit coins for a long time. Meme coins or shit coins have no clear future, they may have no value in the future if there is no demand any more. There are too many meme coins/shit coins to be dead coins already.

Anyway, top altcoins like ETH, BNB, ADA, TRON, or XRP seem to have the power to survive well because they have good fundamentals and big communities. These make the demand on the market become quite stable. However, there is no guarantee for the future. So, we can claim that they are impossible to be destroyed.

Top altcoins may not disappear early in the near future, but nothing confirms that they never disappear, everything may occur in this market, including Bitcoin.

But as long as the needs of investors, the market will always have new altcoins to replace those dead altcoins. The altcoins market is a place for sharks to create hype to make a profit, so they will never let alts disappear, just everything will always be replaced after each cycle. As long as the greed of investors does not disappear, altcoins will always exist.

This is a sign many traders need to understand, that this season will be a better season for those that invested in a potential coins to have hope of winning something big before the end of this year, because all those coins price will hit higher any moment from next month. Ethereum, ADA, XRP, and TRON will be among the coins that will bring massive income to their investors in the future, because their teams are seriously working to ensure their investors smile this season. It is wrong to call these altcoins dead. You are looking at the rate of these altcoins, but the fact is that according to whales, any cryptocurrency can be speculated. And if they invest a little money, the rate will fly up. And then ordinary investors will start buying in a panic, raising the rate even higher and higher. Then the token will look even more alive! I swear we will see that at next crypto-boom.

Whales will always "pump" coins whenever it's in their best interests to do so. Don't expect altcoins to die just like that, especially when they prove to be extremely-profitable during the ups and downs of the market. I'd consider both Ethereum and Litecoin as hidden gems, because of their tried-and-tested blockchain networks over the years. Not only that, but they're highly focused on decentralization and censorship-resistance unlike any other altcoin on the market. LTC has a limited supply of only 84 million units, making it "Silver to Bitcoin's Gold". It's fast, cheap, and has built-in privacy features (Mimblewimble) for the truly paranoid. Investors are usually moved by new and exciting features, so who knows if these aforementioned coins reach the moon someday? Just my opinion

You're right about Litecoin. For me, the best indicator of its quality is that I really use them. There are many exchanges (for example, the free2ex crypto exchange) that enter/withdraw only cryptocurrencies such as LTC BTC ETH, from the listed cryptocurrencies. The best offer for commission fee and speed is LTC. Perhaps the situation has changed recently and they have added more cryptocurrencies. But LItecoin is cool - it's a fact.

one might say, not in a really good situation, so you are right that altcoins are headed for a very worrying situation in the current development. but I don't agree that altcoins are in a situation of entering a phase or whatever it's called, that said altcoins are dead.
There are still many altcoins that are promising and very good to make very attractive investments, but not for new projects, so temporarily avoid them.
this situation is the right time to keep collecting potential altcoins until at least the halving era comes along.

Except for ETH, buying other altcoins at this stage is actually quite risky. I also like to invest in altcoins because their returns are better than bitcoin, but we need to consider choosing the right time. The market has not improved yet, bitcoin has also been dumped below $20k today, so accumulating altcoins from now on is very risky. Coins like SOlana, Avalanche, APtos, and Near Protocol were all pumped by Alameda and SBF and have now gone into hibernation; nobody wants to associate or buy this coin again because those who came in first have all lost; they need a large amount of pump to recover their investments, and guess what, traders and whale are done with these coins.

Yes some coins die in the current bitcoin cycle because the events are so scary like FTT, yes the development roadmap must be dynamic with the trend because usually investors always look at the trends that exist in the market like metaverse, web3 and NFT as you say it will make developers have multiple ecosystems of their coins and added services so utility on tokens people need them more and more. as now it's interesting to see that one of those categories is Polygon and ETH, and the others mentioned by OP also have a large enough community and ecosystem so the risk of death is very small.

Seems tragic with altcoin current price right now after Bitcoin dropped under $20,000, exactly unbelieving how altcoin dropped more than 50% when Bitcoin have lower price under 10%. Have been dilemma when Bitcoin drop few percent only potential with altcoin will drop twice than bitcoin or ability above 40% until 50%.

But difference when Bitcoin raising up above 5% or 10% but altcoin can't reach more than 10% and stuck up few percent only before have stable price. There must be a reason on why they can't survive the bearish trend. It can be lack of community support or they are simply built for scamming. Other than bear and bull trends, we also have different trends here in crypto. The latest one would be the AIs. Even if many old coins can't relate with it, they can still grow on their own. they have solid supporters who won't leave them on the air.

Some of their supporters might be tempted to try the newer trends/coins but they will only invest a little amount on those. Those who update their roadmaps are not confident with what they currently offer. They feel that not many people are attracted with them, so they do their best to improve. That was still a good initiative.

ETH does have much better conditions compared to other altcoins and being there can still be quite good but given the current conditions I think being there is still a high risk, and it's better to wait a little longer because as we know bitcoin still can't be said fully stable and on the rise, so it's better to wait a little longer if you really want to be there although my advice is still for bitcoin but when you want to be in altcoins like ETH I think this can still be done.
