It's still a form of gambling that continue to heighten the interest of all gamblers to engage in real life gambling. So for me, it's not helpful at all. The only difference is that you lose but there were no real money involved, it's like a game before where we used to be fond of play money back in our childhood days. However, if one aims to stop gambling addiction, then he should not be involved anymore in all types of gambling games. Instead, making another hobbies that can divert a gambler's interest will always be a good option, but make sure the family is always around to assist the gambler.

I think for practicing or learning how to gamble, obviously you should not be using real money. Although any online gambling casino owner would love to disagree with me but I do not think it is fair that you should lose money because you did not fully understand the game.

But once you have firmly grasped the rules and perfected the game the way you would like, I doubt that gambling with fake money is something that you will find interesting anymore. In fact, it would seem like a huge waste of time and every win would seem like something you could have won for real. Which can make you feel disappointed that you did not bet real money.

Valid point. While it is not as thrilling and exciting compared to gambling using real money, you have a point that playing using fake money could really save someone their fund. If a player is just starting to gamble, it is important to practice strategy and technique on how to win. Being able to play while not really risking your money at hand could be beneficial because you can hone your skills and thinking without worrying of losing.

You can have an experience while enjoying it and at the same time, you will not go bankrupt if ever you mess up. Hence, i guess it's a good idea.
