On the worst scenario that the bear market is getting worse and the whole crypto market is plummeting, I think the ETH 2.0 rumors will hold ETH price. And looking at the ETH market cap, the possibility of its price fall below $1,000 is nearly impossible. And I also think if ETH fall to 800 or less the whole crypto market would fall before it.

I know that  like me? we will still keep our ETH on hold , yes  no doubt that after this hard market then ETH will again break that 1k and maybe finally may hit 2-3k price in the next 3 years from now.

Put into account ETH 2.0 and am sure if it goes successfully then we might see ETH decoupled from the grandmaster BTC Much more use-case and userbase will increase and ETH will just carry the market along it assuming cardano or dot have not gotten serious potion of the market

how long we need to wait about that ETH 2.0? its been long that this is in progress yet not releasing formally still.

The merge could happen as early as September and I also heard some words swirling around that sometime during December is def the time.

Anyway check out this weekly ETH/BTC chart.  ETH is obv gaining vs BTC.  I'm just wondering what would a successful merge could bring on the table.  Is a 'flippening' a possiblity?  Could really bear witness in ETH becoming the largest cryptocurrency in market cap?

Why are the team not giving an exact day for the merger? At a close range they should have an idea of what is left for the completion.

The market of ethereum is quite good compared to Bitcoin. For a long unlike the market movement of bitcoin, ethereum tries to stand high above $1500. This is something good with ethereum for the month of July. The dominance have bounced and this is something real in growth as there is no signs of manipulation from influencers and other market contributors.

^  Do you want to make a small side bet out of it?  Just 10 bucks for fun.    I say ETH goes down below 1k USD and touches 800 - 850 range within the year.  The bounce we're seeing now really feels like it's just that...  A normal bear market bounce before it all starts trending back down again.  Dunno...  But I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about as you have been watching the market for as long as I am.

How I wish that I could go with this but Unfortunately I don't wanna bet outside gambling sites that I use to play , I was also looking for Futuur site if they will offer this betting for prediction because i will surely bet.
I trust ethereum that it may down below 1k but not as low as 800$.

Anyway I voted for NO , not because ETH will keep above 1k but I believe that it wont go lower than 900 at least this month alone.

It looks like you are loyal on your betting site but why look for futuur if they offer this? Or maybe futuur is also the site where you are betting at? B moving on, that was right that if you trust a coin, you will accept it if ever it drops more because you know that your coin can recover and can break another ath in the future.

yeah but like what i said  I hope that  futuur will have this speculative but im afraid that it is not possible because they usually offers long term and not this monthly dues.

In my case, I have also voted for no because there were positive news that I see related to eth, like those whales are buying more eth and then there are those eth.20 updates which development is almost finished, and so on, but unlike you I don't think eth can drop to 900 usd. If ever it drops again, that will only be at 1.1k.

good thing because ethereum makes a growth with most of the good coin now and staying above that level , maybe we are safe for this month? to not fell below that?

^  Here's the thing..  Take a look at the market right now and see what's going on.  It's red for now but a couple more days like today and we start seeing the same people who are bullish do a 180 turn and be bearish.  I do it too.  Lolol.  But yeah, I think there's gonna be an interesting week coming as we'll soon find out if the monthly closes bullish or bearish.  

I'm hoping the merge will get people to get in ETH but I think most of the people who aren't holding it are gonna be waiting it out first before aping in.

well like you  , it is my question as is since last year but still on hold and I don't know if we are getting a completion or at least update sooner this year.
Hopefully the team will give us what we are looking as a Investors of Ethereum ,
holding for Year now and i know there are some chances that my wallets will be filled with enough income that we trusted.
