what's happening now IMO the impact of global economic conditions has resulted in the collapse of the crypto market, so if the whales have control over the current downturn it's very small they don't have enough power to manipulate it all the time. The collapse of global markets and the global economic situation prompted many people to stop their activities in any investment and choose cash options. The downturn in the crypto market will continue even deeper especially if more bad news comes out.

We don't know. It could be retail buyers who are selling and the panic starts getting in the skin of every investors and sold their assets.
This is not new as we have seen it before when the price of Bitcoin dropped at $3k back 2019.
It's actually not that bad of a bear right now just dropped 60-70% after ATH while before it was almost 90%.
If we can stay at this price and become the new bottom then even altcoins are in good position already, that's if you bought before the big pump happened last year.

I've been observing this roller coaster for a long time. Down on the start of the week, up on Fridays. If this continues, I think I am gonna start thinking about risking some amount and do weekly trading.

I also observe that kind of market changes, in fact, I'll take that opportunity and this volatile nature of the market is the only way we could still make a profit despite the bear market condition. Earning isn't impossible, we only need to act wisely and do a smart decision upon doing TA.

Not just the whales though, probably it's with the retail investors or combination of both. The market is really on a roller coaster starting this year and it's really hard to understand where the price is going to be, at least at the end of the year because of so many things that may have affected the price. Like the Luna, and then we have hacks around dampening the faith of crypto investors. And still the war in the background. So many things that can contribute to the bitcoin crash that we are experiencing.

The news trend as well as the events around the globe including wars and inflation really have a huge effect on the world of crypto and whales can't control the market though they can make a difference in its movement. FUD and coins feedbacks can literally make investors decide whether to invest more or to pull out. Everything relies on what's happening in the environment and what's on trend. Lots of aspects are now affecting the prices so we should expect more in the coming days.

The whalers do affect the market most but the regular traders also take a part in the roller coaster event even with just smaller amount of money. It might not get affected that big compared to whalers but sure the amount of volume you invest is included in total volume of trade so indirectly you are taken a part into it. It's really nice to get profit from this event tho

The market really is quite volatile and unstable in the last couple of weeks and months. I doubt though that there are single whales responsible for this. I think that Bitcoin and Ethereum for example have become so big in the last few years that it is almost impossible for a whale or for a handful of whales to manipulate the price of this projects. What really brought the market down to todays level was the collapse of Terra Luna two months ago in my opinion because it was totally unexpected for most people that a top 10 project in terms of marketcap could collapse so fast and easily and since then the crypto space is full of fear and uncertainty.

It's part of the market, after hitting our ATH in late 2021, we entered a bear market. The market become more chaotic after the sudden collapse of Luna and then a series of lending platforms and the collapse of large investment funds like 3AC, most recently Celsius, after paying off all its debt to investors also filed for bankruptcy yesterday. It must be said that the market is in a period of extreme fear.

When only the most convinced investors remain and there is no more selling pressure, growth will begin, and retail investors will follow, buying up the asset at any price. The market will never be without speculators, especially in the extremely volatile market that cryptocurrency creates. Retail investors just need a reason and a direction set by someone, and they will create demand immediately.

It's really nice to get profit from this event tho 

It's true that all of us in the crypto world are part of a very volatile price movement like this roller coaster. So whales do have a big enough influence
on the market, but we also have an important part in the occurrence of volatile price movements. Moreover, the number of small investors who panic
and sell their coins at low prices is quite a lot, which is why the bear market is still not over. So if we want a bull market to come soon, we all have
to stop selling our coins at low prices. What should be done should be to buy more coins that are potential for long-term investment, we just start
from ourselves to accumulate potential coins in a bear market situation like now. The conclusion is that only people who are patient and able to hold
until the bull market comes can generate big profits.

Ever since the market trend has always been on a roller coaster and this is because we have this volatility. We certainly experiencing such market flow as the demand and supply constantly changing despite the whale's participation, and as to know that they are not the ones who control the market, even these small market players could still affect the market trend. As I understand this situation, I'd found no reason why I have to think negatively as I believe that it recover back again.

That's what the crypto market is like, its fluctuations can be likened to a roller coaster that sometimes suddenly goes up high, then drops drastically. For bitcoin and etherum, of course, everyone already knows because the two of them are the biggest cryptocurrencies and are the top search in all markets, I will take the example of the altcoin that I hold from last year, namely nominex. Last year nominex had a price of 6 usdt per 1 nominex coin, now it has dropped drastically to 0.74 usdt, even though when it was first launched to the market at a hefty price, I thought it would reach 10 usdt per coin.

Once the roller coaster stops moving means that the whales in the market will not be able to make a profit so they will come up with all sorts of ways to make thousands of waves in the market. We just need to observe and capture the movement of the roller coaster then we can trade and can make a profit.

Also the term should be used carefully, the market was stagnant between two levels for the past few weeks and defenitely the opposite of a roller-coaster, just that today the price has crossed that level and started going upwards. Well, we should have known in the first place that the whole crypto market is like a roller coaster, one time they're up, the next they fall down. And volatility keeps it from doing so. However, there are big whales that come to take advantage when the market is especially bearish, but they have no control when the market turns into deep bearish since its the worldly events that gets to influence the market more. When there are inevitable negative events that are happening in the market, expect that the market will follow a roller coaster moves.
