.... Next up I'd like to stack some ADA and BTC of course. But I can't help but wonder is accumulating ETH and ADA the right move right now? Or should I be more invested in BTC in terms of potential long-term returns?
Investing in BItcoin is the first choice, this is much better than other cryptocurrencies.
However, you may also divide your money into some assets to minimize the risk and optimize the profit and chances.
However, I do agree with most members here, not all altcoins are worthy for the next investment.
I will no doubt put my money on ETH for long-term investment besides Bitcoin. This has higher chance to rise up than other altcoins. Then, it is followed by BNB, I am sure with the utility of this coin, this will have also higher chance to rise up.
But for other altcoins, well, I am not sure to buy again and hold them

Hi,
I am a newbi and I would like to learn, but from what source? If somebody can give me some source would be great. For now I am all in BTC, trying to DCA and buy low sell high.
Continue doing it, you said that you're DCAing and buying low and selling high. Well, you can accumulate as much as you can while it's on the bottom as you might think.
Then, you have to hold bitcoin if you decide to think long term. But if not, you have to sell at profit prices. That's all you need to do and just repeat all the process until you master it. As for the source, depends on what you want to learn, if it's trading, you're on the right section.
I think there is no problem for long-term investment in bitcoin, as long as we are able to maintain the psychological to keep it. but it will be different if we want to hold altcoins in the long term, of course it will have more risk and require specific thinking to analyze the market, although in general buy low sell high, but believe me it's not that easy. In addition to choosing the coin, in long-term investment, of course, we must pay attention to the security of the wallet used.

There is really no problem holding bitcoin for long term because it's the most effective way of profiting from it. I don't know if there are people having problems holding it for long term, maybe the doubters and unbelievers of it. But for people like me, I've got proof and experience that it's the best asset that I have been holding and sold and made profit from it and that's why I'll keep doing what I've been doing for a long time because it's beneficial for me.

If you want to enjoy in cryptocurrency is better you get a job and you can start investing, so that whenever there is bear market you won’t endup spending the money you already used to buy coin already, but whenever you are having a job or another source of income you can easily be spending money from there whenever there is bear market. Investing in eth is a nice, eth is a good coin which will surprise people very soon, just keep in accumulating.

While everyone want to invest in bitcoin - people want to be rich very quick

Investing in Bitcoin does not mean you will get rich. Because you have to understand that Bitcoin is a training coin. This coin also trades. And for that it is not understood when this coin will be up or down. If you invest in this Bitcoin during market down or bear market then you can profit. But if you buy Bitcoin at the highest price then you can suffer loss from here too. But it can be said that you can profit by holding Bitcoin for a long time. And definitely invest your extra money here because you have to remember that you are holding here for the long term. If you hold for long time then you will not be able to withdraw money from here. You have to wait for the market to rise. So not only that investing in Bitcoin will make you profitable, but first you need to gain good knowledge about the market.

Experienced traders who see those rollercoaster rides know and understand that the term long is applicable for bringing a decent amount of profits from your initial investments. You always have that great chance of success if you have the trust and the patience to hold while waiting for the market to pump up. Newbies should note those points that the market is not the easy, and it's needed to be research and understand well, if you have that idea the next thing to do is set your expectations and make sure that you are always willing to adjust when learning things while working in enhancing your knowledge.

If you want to enjoy in cryptocurrency is better you get a job and you can start investing, so that whenever there is bear market you won’t endup spending the money you already used to buy coin already, but whenever you are having a job or another source of income you can easily be spending money from there whenever there is bear market. Good point, if you have an actual job who will continuously finance your needs, bear and bull will not be a problem, after you set your plan the next thing that you needed to do is to wait for market to favor your side and bring you decent or huge amount of profits.

I would like learning about TA, how to read signals, macd, candle stick and so on. This is in same time and trading, so to have some good pdf document about that will be great for me.

Thanks

I think newbie who invest first time in cryptocurrency so first thing is that they gain knowledge about cryptocurrency and the second thing is that they invest which project first they study about this and there team there Roadmap everything read so they invest.
And after invest wait for profit and keep patient.
you forgot to say that investing in new projects is not recommended because there is a big risk of loss. Currently there are hundreds of cryptocurrencies that have a good reputation and have uses, so it is recommended for newbies to prefer investing in these currencies rather than those that have just emerged, to avoid fatal losses in the future.

Everything I'm cryptocurrency is an opportunity to get in at early stage before things get out if hands. The market is down now and it is another sign to get in that most crypto are less and affordable. The market is a bit boring now that things are not going as planned and we need to look and the aspect of the opportunity not what could happen now.
Investing in cryptocurrency is all about timing and waiting holding your coins as long as it's going to take the market to continue moving toward. It is certain that the market is going to move upward and we need to be patient enough for that time.

Now the market condition is not good but if you want to invest in BTC this time and hold it for long time then you can profit. Now is the right time to invest in BTC. But I would say instead of investing your principal money here you will invest your extra money here.Because now there is no specific period of how many days you can make a profit if you invest in BTC. But you can expect that BTC will go up very soon. So in my opinion, if you want to btc  buy low rate and sell high rate, now is the best time to buy your Bitcoin.

Patience is yes the basis for success in investing, but during this time that we will be patient in holding the coin, we must be aware of the news of the coin that we have invested in and follow the coin community on Twitter or Telegram or others and the latest news in the crypto market and technical analysis of the coin from time to time, learning and gaining experience, and we can stake the coin in the long term without making it idle and making some profits from it.

Those who are new to this forum are always advised to consider good advice and rationality. They enter the first forum thinking that investing is very easy and very profitable. But this misconception of theirs is erased with one investment.Of course I would say for newbies to know about the forum first and then invest. While investing beginners are definitely advised to invest in the best coins. If not, they will consider shit coins as a long term investment and will suffer losses later and look at this investment with great disdain.

That's the thing I'm struggling with, I actually want to put in more money. But I just can't afford to, I want to maximize on the buying opportunities but I know that's the FOMO creeping in, and I'll just have to stay patient.
Since you are thinking of a long-term investment, I will suggest you diversify your portfolio but Bitcoin should be your major concentration because if you buy now that the price is down, you will be able to make a profit when the price is up again but remember no one can predict when the bear will end so your investment should not be done with all you have got so you don't end up not making gain and lossng your capital. Always invest with the amount you can afford to lose, good luck.

I used to think that diversification of the stock portfolio is just beautiful words, but only 2 years have passed and my opinion has changed greatly, I realized that you should always invest only what you are prepared to lose and no more, sometimes the risk is justified, but only if there is a financial cushion, and there is something to risk. My advice to newcomers - is not a hasty study of the basics of the cryptocurrency market and ecosystem projects (need to delve into the study of a particular coin), but my opinion, that BTC is a favorite ..

People still keeping a one pot all their money which is not ideal to do it is just easier to burn out their portfolio and assets, it is good to make an investment when you are make sure for the project you are supporting with and also the time frame to set when committing an investment at the same time is the target multiplier sometimes people keep being greedy as long as they have seen the profit they keep holding and not making a TP instead too much-cut losses. Currently we are in the bear market and for sure this is the good opportunity to buy and accumulate a lot of coins.

This is an unpopular opinion but tip for any newbie to long-term investing, is never pay attention to YouTubers. Those folks could care less about your investment; they just worry about clicks, likes, and subscriptions. My counsel is after you have DYOR,  trust your judgment and do what is right for you while establishing standards, guidelines, and stick to a game plan but be flexible.

Unfortunately, many "investors" in cryptocurrencies and not only are not financially literate, and most of my friends do not even know how to trade cryptocurrencies, my opinion - financial literacy should teach people from a young age, and this will be correct...

If you touch the subject of analysis of some cryptocurrency, I want to say that this analysis takes a very long time, starting from the analysis of fund behavior (investors) and ending with social networks and verification of real users, not bots in their project + full geography of the project founders, tokenomics project, the behavior of moderators in social networks, the team's behavior, review Callaborations, personally I can spend a week to study one project ...

You need to allocate that much time if you really wanted to learn and to have a better edge in succeeding inside this industry, it's not applicable relying with someone's advice and opinions in regard to your investment, there are many available venues where you can find relevant information to broader your ideas in how you will take this business accordingly.

Investors should be both ready with mental and financial state. It's a combination of your good money managements and good awareness with how the market flows and how will you react in each market situation.

I'm almost at the goal I've set for myself in terms of how much I'd like to have before investing in another coin, since I've started investing again a short while ago. Next up I'd like to stack some ADA and BTC of course. But I can't help but wonder is accumulating ETH and ADA the right move right now? Or should I be more invested in BTC in terms of potential long-term returns?
BTC, ETH and ADA are great choice to picks. ADA would be difficult to maintain on long-term but both BTC and ETH are great choices regardless of the event situation right now. Just collect up  your salary to these picks like what you are currently doing right now and keep stacking up those coins, since these two will still be strong in the future, so won't be hurt to hodl it.

I think it will be better to place BNB , Lite coin , Polygon matic besides bitcoin for long-term investment excepting Cardano(ADA). Because if see the performance of BNB and Cardano from 2k17 then you will see how bnb performance is better from cardano . And same as like others Litecoin  and the polygon is a newcomer but it has also managed to a potential power on market . So I think picking them would be much better than picking Cardano.

I agree about choosing BTC and ETH. But ADA seems not a really good choice for long-term holding. In my own view, ADA price doesn't increase very significantly, the price move of this coin looks rather slow. I think it is better to exclude ADA and choose BNB coin, BNB seems more convincing to buy and hold long term. BNB is the coin from the biggest exchange in the world (Binance) that has many functions, and it also has a burning program. Burning program will decrease the number of BNB supply and increase the value significantly.
