The Bitcoin days destroyed question has a pretty good answer explaining the concept and it was posted on hackernews. That's why it is so popular

Yeah, also it got posted to Hacker News. 

I see why it's popular and I have no issue with it, the OCD part of me just wants the other one to be on top.

Totally awesome! I'm not even going to take the time to read anybody's comments, I like it so much. Good work! Let me know when it's done, for I want to copy and paste it on every Bitcoin related future site I may build because, quite frankly, I'm to lazy to put together my own stuff.  Once again, nice job.
