It might be practiced on several casinos and casino hotels but I do not think it has been used for luck or to attract more users as it stands for good luck. But I think it is just an ancient art which is very beautiful and which make attraction to the users of the site as a symbol of beauty not as a symbol of luck.

I think every gamblers have their own personal preferences for which numbers to pick and which to avoid, based on previous life experiences since their childhood. You mentioned the example of number 4 in chinese culture, that is avoided. While here, we tend to avoid numbers 13 and 666, because they mean bad omens and reminds negative events in our society and imaginary.

Even when I win a bet resulting in one of those numbers I don't feel good about it. It gives me the impression there is something wrong going on.

this is where your upbringing and other beliefs come in. it is true that even non-chinese business people are following the fengshui tips in managing or designing their places. i don't have any issues with this kind of position, so long they are not harming anyone. you are free to follow what you think will be of advantage to you.

As far as I know, the practice of feng shui in some business places or gambling casinos is only to harmonize the energy so that it is harmonious. nothing to do with luck for the gamblers. placing some objects or statues only aims to repel negative energy, and for table layouts, entrances, are intended to balance the incoming good energy so that everything becomes harmonious. In fact there are many practices like this in some Asian countries, for example Thailand with its Kumanthongs they believe they can attract fortune, Kumanthongs are also usually placed in land-based casinos. This kind of culture is very common in Asian countries.

I also have a friend who is Chinese, and he really believes in Feng Sui (even his house is also influenced by Feng sui), he believes that following Feng sui will open the door to his fortune even though he also plays gambling when his Feng Sui is good. I personally come from a family that doesn't believe in superstition and feng shui, so I play gambling without restrictions and free.

some of my relatives are huge believers in it and incorporate it into almost everything that they do and I won't be surprised if they incorporate it too when they are gambling(they love gambling too), but I don't share their belief and I consider Feng shui just like any other superstition that I don't believe in.

Well, I think every gambler has their own way of attracting luck, but for me, I'd rather believe in statistics and the chances of winning than luck. There are times we get lucky but we can never get consistent with that, so for me, Fengshui or whatever it is that would make me lucky is not necessary anymore as luck will just come when you are not expecting it, just like a thief in the night.

Fengshui has been a proven source of luck in almost everything but I don’t see it in gambling. Gambling is not solely based on luck as games like sports betting requires some knowledge and experience too. If you are not a pro in it, eventually you’ll get more losses than wins. However, I believe fengshui is more proven effective maybe for building operators or owners of gambling companies, but for gamblers, it’s more on statistics and chances on winning that mostly counts.

Many are still willing to spend some money asking for the opinion of Feng shui master, most probably those gambler are also seeking for their advices since they also want to earn and make money. This is just a belief, and the result of our success will still depend on how we work on it, many are being mislead when it comes to this superstition, I personally don’t believe on this since gambling will still depend on your luck.

It is interesting to see and understand all the subtle manipulative psychological tricks that casinos put into place. I guess these things can fluctuate, at present it appears lots of Asian guests are driving the decor of these hotels, so they must be the biggest spenders right now. The hotel floor numbers is totally weird to be honest, it's based on characters from another language resembling a Latin number, which has a bad meaning in the original language. It's almost a step too far and unnecessarily confusing for most other people who would expect it just to be ordered numerically - I guess that particular casino is mostly geared to the Chinese market and has few other guests.

You can do any ritual or employ your belief as long as you are not violating any rules of the casino you're playing if something will get you luck in playing whether it's a ritual or carrying something as long as it's legal there is no hard doing it, all our actions are attached to religion and age-old belief, no casino will prohibit you from doing it if you're lucky wearing red while playing, no one will forbid you and you're not violating any rules in a casino.

All of us are strange not only the Chinese people. but their culture's strangeness is doing wonders for them, they are now one of the superpowers and they cast influence with their industry, beliefs, and culture and Fengshui is one of them, Fengshui belief lies in accordance with harmonious living if you have a harmonious living and all are well arranged you can invite luck and good vibes that is why even in gambling it exists.

I believe in Chinese culture, fengshui and luck is connected.  This is one of the major reason why many feng shui believers designed their houses according to the positive energy flows of Feng Shui to get lucky and have abundant and safe living.  So it does make sense if the owner of the Casino is a Feng Shui believer to arrange the Casino designs and Feng Shui materials in a way to give players a bad luck.

And to answer the OP question, I am neutral when it comes to Feng Shui belief and I am too lazy to practice their customs during my gambling session.

We all just need is respect when it comes to differences in culture and beliefs.
There are even not Chinese people who have lots of rituals when it comes to their gambling activities.

I believe that the implementation of Feng Shui is related to the owner's belief in the good things of Feng Shui. They believe that if they do or apply something based on Feng Shui then they will get more blessings and fluency in their efforts and bring all goodness.
Of course, this is only certain people who believe. And we can't blame him because it's all about belief.

Even in Land-based Casino, these are all superstitious beliefs and have no scientific evidence that Feng Shui has something to do with our lives.

Pretty interesting topic you bring up here. I think a lot of this is more so for the interesting aspects of it, rather than it being taken quite literally (in terms of gambling area decor / gamblers superstitions). But hey whatever works for you works for you right.

It could also means that most of the casino's gamblers have superstitious beliefs that their gamblers believe that if they go inside the mouth (under its chin as you have said) of a lion (going inside) just to gamble then they won't gamble instead to avoid breaking the superstitious beliefs. Maybe that's the reason why the casino owner change or renovate the entire place to fit what is needed as the owner noticed that the players are not increasing but decreasing. It could also mean that it's the casino owner's beliefs.
