Yep, games coming up thick and fast, just how I like them

This is by far the closest pool I have been part of and I am playing a lot of them. We have first 5 participants all in one point. One bad week and you can find yourself falling down quite quickly. But opposite is true as well, you just need to risk it one week and get it right and you are right back into the top. Seems like a lot of people is predicting expected results.

I only have 8 points in this round, I did not expect the result of the draw for Bayern against Leipzig, who took a big bet from me.

Thanks to the OP, I probably would have missed the midweek fixtures due to some RL activities and all, even though I often put up 3 weeks predictions down in advance whenever I log on to the kicktipp app, I totally missed the midweek ones simply because the odds weren't available on the app then, I usually just follow them he odds available on the app whenever they're available and I'd make my findings, reviews, changes and whatnot when I more leisure time to play around with.

I just submitted my picks for the next 3 weeks, I think I should be able to review them at some point over the course of the week, that's what playing in every available pool does to you, and in a few weeks the Champions League will be added to list of headaches 😏

Yeah, everything is so close, thanks to how points are rewarded. This pool is like a roller coaster. I think that it would be interesting to use Kicktipp for Champions league where after group stage it's very difficult to change your position.

It's a bit silly to have already some games again mid-week since most leagues already started in December last year again. 
Bundesliga waited until last weekend (January 20) just to have already a new round of games mid-week. 
Strange schedule but at least we'll have some interesting games to watch.
After scoring a 7-1 against Werder Bremen, Köln will be facing FC Bayern next weekend. Maybe Köln can achieve a draw against Bayern but only if Köln can play similar to their previous round and Bayern needs to have a bad day as well.

I expected a strong Bayern team after Bayern's 1:1 draw against Leipzig while Leipzig was winning already against Schalke decisively today (6-1) but Bayern only achieved a last-minute draw after Bayern could equalize very late.
Leipzig is getting close now since Bayern didn't collect all points at home.
Next week Bayern vs. Frankfurt could be once again a loss of points for Bayern if Bayern doesn't get it done and Frankfurt is a good team a we know.

Wolfsburg had very profitable odds to win against Hertha BSC Berlin (odds were around 2.50), maybe someone went for it, since Wolfsburg won 5-0. Generally, Wolfsburg has won all 6 recent games. Amazing performance, considering alone their 6-0 last week against Freiburg and now 5-0 against Hertha BSC Berlin.
Odds for Dortmund to win against Mainz tomorrow and Gladbach to win against Augsburg look promising as well. Could be good bets but nobody knows, of course.

Weak games from Schalke and Hertha BSC Berlin once again, looks like at least Schalke will have a hard time to catch up. And if Berlin is playing similarly weak as recently, it'll join Schalke04 to go to 2. Bundesliga.

Schalke is a team in big problems, really sad about it though, I will miss their derby games with Dortmund. I always saw Hertha as a team that starts the season good and then drops off. This time they starded a bit weaker then previous seasons so this drop off could cost them relegation.

I didn't actually expect myself to retain the top spot after a rough start on Tuesday for me, I got only 2 points from the first 4 fixtures and I dropped a couple of places, but yesterday was a rollercoaster for me I got 4 exact scores in 4 of the 5 fixtures, and that's literally what saved the day/week for me, that's literally the most exact score I've ever gotten in single round in the pool.

If I hadn't won the world cup prediction game, I would be pretty devastated by losing my position in the top 3 after quite a long time...
