I've also experienced similar threads on he forum as well, same way i don't know what they were thinking by not considering the years it has remained undisputable.

They're comparing it to old tech companies like Nokia, Blackberry, etc. But they cannot realize that bitcoin is no the same from those companies that has to keep with their products up-to-date setting whilst for bitcoin.

One of the common things attributed to them is that they will always find a means to justify their wrongs, they had forgotten that product is different from currency which can be use to buy the entire producing factory of a particular product, that's how far bitcoin can go in surprising them.

Yes, we all see the influence of BTC in the market. At each different stage, its price always greatly affects the rest. I find diversifying over the years as a temporary process and enough to cause us to continue to increase BTC after each new cycle. Maybe each person will have a different view of the return that the market can make, but the more we look to the future, the more we look to BTC.

It is the market that makes it up-to-date. I'm sure that many from the top 10 will be replaced by the next bull run but one thing will remain, bitcoin as #1.

I think the problem is that it’s an "aim" not reality. I mean you do not have to be higher than bitcoin, but it sure doesn't make sense if you create a project with the sole understanding that you will never replace bitcoin. What I always say about the comparison is thinking yourself as a sports player.

If you are going against Nadal, you can't go in to a game with him thinking that you will lose or he is better, you have to think that he is old now, and he is not as good as he used to be, you are better, you are more talented etc etc, you have to tell yourself that otherwise what is even the point of going up against him, just leave. Same for projects, they need to think they will be above bitcoin one day, they have to, not because it needs to be reality, but because otherwise what’s the point of creating a new one?

I get what you mean, there's always a goal for us to strive for, if that's the case then that's fine. But in general, today's altcoin projects don't have to take bitcoin as a target, they use bitcoin to compare, seek to bring down bitcoin and increase the value of their project, it's marketing hype. More than 10 years have passed in addition to ETH, most of the projects after being inflated will be replaced or disappeared. I just see them trying to make a profit rather than create real value for the crypto industry.

It is also reasonable to believe that bitcoin is heavy and slow, meaning new stuff would always have an easier room to breathe and who would want to take place of bitcoin like that. Bitcoin is so much in trouble when it comes to transaction numbers that we are talking about billions every single day, sure maybe not all are trading, but it moves and that's what matters.

Even the places like SOL which promotes that they can do 65k TPS, fail at 15k and we have seen it happen, it cannot have it right away, it needs to gradually go up to get there not all at once suddenly. This is why I believe that we shouldn't be shocked to learn no other project could dethrone bitcoin, it would be quite difficult.

Bitcoin have a very high level of popularity around the globe. Although, it price lately probably made some Bitcoin owners sell their coin, because they couldn't be patient enough. But, Bitcoin still remains the King of all other alcoins. Moreover, it is presently the most expensive. However, after from been the most expensive, it is also known as the only coin that have been leading other coins in the history of Cryptocurrency.

It's true as you said bitcoin is king, because after bitcoin price started to rise and many companies accepted bitcoin there were even countries that have legalized bitcoin and there are countries that accept bitcoin as legal tender, with the growing popularity of bitcoin and many adopting bitcoin then automatically other coins appear, but even though many other coins have sprung up, the price is still below bitcoin, and people who adopt other coins are still under bitcoin, because for now there is no other coin that can compete with bitcoin prices.

Indeed Bitcoin is King and will remain king for a very long time to come. I would rather advise that one should invest in project with solid foundation and use cases, instead of basing judgement on ranking.

Due to the large volume of Bitcoin holders and its market cap it can be regarded as the king. Volatility is the true nature of bitcoin which leads to great fluctuations in its price values. Many hopes have been set by the people on bitcoin in the coming years.

I will not refer to 'volatility' as the true nature of bitcoin, yes bitcoin is volatile and it is nice for speculators, though as bitcoin progresses towards its fixed supply of 21 million, adoption will increase and in response volatility will reduce, so i will not say it is the true nature of bitcoin because in my opinion, bitcoin will not be too volatile forever.

Needless to say that bitcoin is decentralized, and that is its true nature, nothing can happen to change bitcoin's decentralized nature, control rests in the hands of the individual, and it will remain that way even in a thousand years if bitcoin is around then.

It is certain that these top 2 coins will not become extinct, if they do not exist then the crypto industry will plunge and lead to the brink of bankruptcy.

Although bitcoin is an old, aging technology with a slow pace, there is no denying that it has worked well for the past 13 years without any problems like hacking or network outages. We often hear about hacks, incidents like solana network, near, dot... but there has never been any news of bitcoin network being hacked. There is a clear difference between bitcoin and altcoins.

I agree with you that there must be variation in purchases but in that case you must think about which particular asset need to buy. I think if anyone invest in top 5 coins from top 10, the chances of losing are relatively low. In this case, there is a high possibility of increasing the price. one or two coins may be fallen in risk, but it is not possible for top five to collapse together.

top 5 should also be seen that if we look at the picture given by the OP, it is clear that in the top 5 there is at least USDT and USDC there which incidentally is a stable coin which is not very suitable if you say investment for the long term.
They are indeed good enough for trading but when it says Invest it is clearly not a good enough option.

Unfortunately, the companies that promises the starts to you, hopes that they land on the trees at the very least, not the other way around. I have been working as a marketing expert on a dozen projects so far, and I know what they tell the public and I know what they talk inside.

I knew places that had literally just 1-2k dollars left to go on and either find a way to make more money, which is opposite of what a project should be made for, or they are going to go bankrupt and the project will fail. So, they keep lying about how it is all well and how everything is going great and how everyone should be feeling super in love with it etc etc, which in reality is "how will we survive another week like this" in reality.

It is better to diversify and invest in coins that have remained in the top 3 or 4 positions for a long period of time. If you analyse the market, you will clearly see that it's bitcoin, ethereum and tether dominating the top. Diversification should be done carefully, after proper research. Or else investing a part of your capital in the wrong coin can result in loss.

Going through the history of cryptocurrency, it is possible to see a list of cryptocurrencies that have been developed and never gained the importance as bitcoin. During the year 1983 itself cryptographic based electronic money ecash developed. Further many more development have been tossed.

Finally bitcoin came into existence and used till now. Soon after bitcoin few other cryptocurrencies have got developed. One amongst is the Litecoin and that is still in use. Among the list of cryptocurrencies developed during the days of bitcoin into existence, most have gone out of the market. This too a reason that can be added to state bitcoin is King.
