I agree, bitcoin is the number 1 choice for starters, because you could the assurance you wanted that your money is safe.

Nice post but I think this wasn't enough because there are coins which are not a pump and dump or a scam but still can fail. Maybe the problem is about the idea of the project or about their team so it's important to check other details.

@OP you shouldn't get overwhelmed by those numbers because most of those projects are just junk but there are only few numbers of legit projects on this space and no they are not overtaking fiats because both are on a different world. These coins are the safest coins to invest in, but it doesn't guarantee huge profits. You need to know when the best time to buy and when the time to sell them. I think it is the opposite. If your money is small then its fine if you can gamble them in the risky coins because you will be alright even if you lose them but if ever you got lucky then congrats because that small amount you put can bear you a couple of hundreds or even thousands of bucks in a short period of time.

I know this sounds promising but the only downside is that it cant occur at all times so it is still wise to save up that small amount and then put it in the top coins for a better success rate. I agree that if you research long enough then you will realize that everything in the crypto world is either good and old, or brand new and uncertain.

If you want to invest into a brand new project then there is  99%+ chance that you will lose money, it's quite difficult, and the best ones rarely make you more money than bitcoin does, so it's really not a good result neither. It's clear that even the best ones do not hold a candle to bitcoin, and that's the important thing, we should not be really focusing on anything regarding this at all. I agree that if you research long enough then you will realize that everything in the crypto world is either good and old, or brand new and uncertain.

out on Bitcoin because it had proven out that it did really sit on the top of overall market rankings for a decades time and never been replaced by any altcoins in the market.We know that there are established

coins and there are low cap ones but surprisingly there are people who do really love to play with fire and take up some risk on trying out to invest with those low caps
and believing that it could generate out lots of profits later on if they decision was indeed right and it did really paid off.
