Describe what Bitcoin has done for you

I'd say Bitcoin has completely changed my life ever since I've discovered it in late 2014. Not only I became a privacy-aware person, but I also learned how to better manage my finances. Because I've joined a signature campaign, I became motivated to browse through the forums and learn all about crypto/Blockchain tech. If it wasn't because of Bitcoin, I wouldn't been as financially independent as I am now.

Back then, I was frustrated with banks' hidden fees and the time it took to transfer money across borders. With Bitcoin, I no longer had that issue since I was able to send money at a cheaper cost within minutes (instead of days). Kudos to Satoshi for making sound money that enables people to be their own bank. Who knows if someday Bitcoin replaces Fiat in its entirety?

2017 is the place where I first got to know Bitcoin, I got Bitcoin from bounty campaign,

Well sorry to say this here, after my birth, after my schooling, this forum has been the most important thing of my life I have ever come across with and, I can't really enumerates all what bitcoin has done for me but through the forum I was able to pick interest to understand fully about things that concerns bitcoin.

Bitcoin has given me a life time financial freedom and lift that no institutes or any government around my country has ever given to me. I have learnt to be patient from experience here in this forum, I have witness lots of things so I have to reserve some, although everything I does today both my feeding taking care of my wife my family, my mom and siblings are all from bitcoin.

I m thanking this forum specially for giving me that chance to read and understand what about bitcoin and I utilize every single opportunities that i have came across.
I can't say it all.

Could be mate, but as of now, bitcoin has a long way to go before we can even say that it's already close to replacing fiats, entirely! The good thing is that it's already in the process to be in that kind of state soon and bitcoin has already been with us for more than a decade now, so it's still quite early but let's be optimistic that sooner or later, bitcoin will be used more globally.

And as for the question of OP, bitcoin has been a big help not just for me but to my family as well in terms of finances, securing money to avoid inflation, and lastly, making my transactions faster, more secure, and much cheaper. I'm honored that I became aware of bitcoin's existence since it was introduced to me way back in the year 2016.

Bitcoin has generated new life lasting friendships that I cherish, and something we can all come together with in our affinity we share for this digital coin. Even with completely opposing views we can all agree on one thing, that Bitcoin is the best form of money.

It has allowed me to relish in my success, and has churned my stomach at the same time. I think the best thing that Bitcoin has done for me is to be able to HODL and weather the storm, because I have held since 2018 I've seen a few bears and bulls, and honestly that experience has made me more resilient. That experience has transcended beyond Bitcoin to the point that I am confident that I can endure through any financial burden or hardship, Lord willing.

Bitcoin have made me understand the value of money;It has also taught me not to be greedy. Speaking of which, I also had a wonderful experience of friendship with a complete stranger and we are from 2 far apart countries. Today it must be said that relationships on social networks are very virtual and cannot be trusted at all. But I was lucky to meet that friend, he is also an investor in bitcoin. At first we rarely talked because no one trusted each other, but gradually we shared more, about work, family...Until one time I was short of money and I started borrowing everywhere (friends out there) but sadly no one could lend me I had no choice but to text my bitcoin friend me to get a loan. I think he won't agree because even though we're friends we're just friends on social media and we've never met outside but surprisingly he agreed without asking too much. The amount I need is estimated at around $200, $200 might not be too much for him, but lending it to a stranger is no easy feat.
What's more interesting is that he only has bitcoin and no altcoins or stablecoins. And he told me that if I borrow bitcoin I will have to pay him but he doesnt want to take USDT or any altcoins, he just gets the exact bitcoins borrowed. I returned him about a week later and since then our friendship has grown stronger and I often share more of my life with him. Although it is not a large amount of money, it will be difficult for you to find someone to help you in difficult times and more interestingly, it was a loan from a bitcoin friend and it was also my first bitcoin loan.

If bitcoin doesn't exist, I'm a different person from what I am now. With me discovering bitcoin helps me gain knowledge with financial security and added to being interested more on current and upcoming technology. I also earned a circle of friends with the same interest on bitcoin, Known them and test them from various market scenario. Some fled, Some take bad choices which is scamming, some of them stayed and with years of being into cryptocurrency. We've tested each other and now I know that our bond is true and we are sure that our friendship will last. I know bitcoin has done so much to us and it is more on the financial side.

I'm glad to see some users claiming that it hasn't changed their life all that much. That's the thing with Bitcoin, it gets built up like its a miracle worker, and don't get me wrong for a lot of people it has been revolutionary, however not everyone has the same objectives.

For example, the benefits that Bitcoin bring like not relying on a third party, can actually have drawbacks if you're a certain type of person. I don't like to give this example, but I sometimes find that the older generation are much more comfortable with trusting a bank, simply because they haven't kept up with technology, and therefore don't trust themselves to manage their own money, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Someone like me on the other hand, are incredibly suspicious of banks, and find their additional checks, and process too long. I've had payments flagged up, which I then had to confirm my identity, and all of that, but with Bitcoin I can just pay without those additional checks. At the end of the day, it's my money, that I legally earned, so I shouldn't have to go through additional checks. Obviously, I do understand why they do it, it's to prevent fraud, and unauthorised use of your card or bank, but that's something I'd like to be able to opt out of, which you can't with every major bank I've used.

Obviously, that's just one example of the restrictions imposed by using a third party like a bank, but there's many more which either suit a person or don't. Bitcoin hasn't made me stinking rich, but it has aided the life I wanted to have, and by that I mean more freedom, not because I've got more money, but because I ultimately control every aspect about my finances.

It is a great experience, and the best thing is that the things that can be improved and if it is helped by Bitcoin is always something gratifying, I would have liked to have believed in bitcoin in 2009 when I was in college, and I confused it with the jobs that were they did with clicks online, a friend managed to get many bitcoins through a faucet at that time, and yes, he kept all his bitcoins in a wallet with his private key, in 2017 I found him, he told me about Bitcoin again and I started in a more serious way and the fact of having bitcoin improved my life a lot, it's like you say, freedom is one of the things that Bitcoin has given me, oh and by the way, my friend lost all the data on that pendrive, that is, lost millions of dollars.

Bitcoin has really opened up my eyes to a lot of things, and first off I'd like to start by saying that this community is a very special group of people.

Bitcoin for me has opened up an incredible amount of business opportunities since I service many of the Bitcoin ATM operators though a telecom company and provide internet services (recently there has not been a complete halt, but there is less demand since the drop for new installations) .

It has given me a peace of mind that I have control of my coin in a world where the government is after your money and wants to cut down your commissions & gains every single place that they can.

if you have to explain everything maybe it won't be written here all. Bitcoin provides many opportunities for me and makes my life more valuable. In the past I was an unemployed person and also sometimes became a freelancer without a definite salary. After getting to know bitcoin and the world of trading everything changed drastically, my economy is improving every year and until now I can buy whatever I want and provide for my family.
Bitcoin changed my mindset in viewing online jobs which are certainly more profitable and we can make a lot of money by trading. I studied technical analysis intensely to be able to dominate the crypto market and it worked..
It's not just about the improving economy, I've also made a lot of like-minded friends about crypto and bitcoin and it's become a strong community in my neighborhood. Bitcoin has done a lot for the life of me and I am very lucky to have known bitcoin for a long time.

Bitcoin is truly a life-changing cryptocurrency. Those who discover it, have the potential to become rich in the future. Unfortunately, not everyone finds Bitcoin to be an attractive alternative to existing Fiat currencies (eg: US Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, etc.). Governments and banks have spread lots of misinformation and false propaganda to scare away the general public from Bitcoin. It's this reason why the majority thinks Bitcoin is a scam, a Ponzi, or a fad. I don't blame them, since crypto/Blockchain tech is still in its infancy.

The pioneer cryptocurrency has a long road ahead before it can reach adoption at a large scale. Slowly but surely, people are joining the revolution. I'm pretty sure there will be more success stories among those who discover and embrace Bitcoin's benefits to the fullest. Just my thoughts

I also find out about the best investments. then i found bitcoin. That's where I started buying bitcoins too. although fluctuating but so far I have benefited a lot. because I was lucky to have entered bitcoin when the bitcoin price was below $19,000. Bitcoin has been useful for me to store the value of my assets.

Do you manage to consistently earn from trading, do you have a stable income every month? If yes, then you are in that small percentage of people who succeed in trading. Personally, bitcoin has not changed my life much, I continue to do what I did before I met him, but I continue to buy bitcoin and I hope that in the future it will change my life for the better.

That is the most important information I learned as well. I used to think that the best way to have money was to save it, but then I learned that most rich people do not even have money, they have debt.

Look at all the big companies in the world, they literally have cash and debt together, they could pay for something in cash, they have that much, and they still prefer to get a loan to do that instead of using their cash, because they rather grow their asset size, and to do that, instead of using 100 million dollars to buy 1 thing, they spend 20 million and get 80 million debt, hence they can use that 100 million to get 500 million debt, which means their asset size would grow 5x that way.

Before I describe what Bitcoin has done for me, I must tell you what else Bitcoin hasn't done for me! To say Bitcoin has changed my life, Bitcoin has given me the ability to live comfortably with my family. Moreover, it saved me from bank control, now I keep most of my money in cryptocurrencies in a decentralized system as my own money bank where we used to stand for hours at the bank. And I want to keep saying that Bitcoin was invented to change not only me but the whole future.
