We got a chance to enjoy a wonderful match. The players of both teams tried hard to win the match. And this match was very competitive. I bet for Braga to win this match. The main reason why I consider Braga as the favorite is because Braga's performance against Benfica was very good. And Braga proved once again that they are stronger than Benfica in head-to-head matches. The match was originally a 1-1 draw. But Braga won the penalty shootout. Also noticeable was the dominance of Braga's players throughout the match.

That dominance was spectacular, taking into account that Benfica was playing with one less player from the 30th minute. Before the expulsion, Benfica dominated and controlled the match. And Braga ended up also being favored by the arbitration.

In the end, there were penalties, and luck smiled on Braga. Congratulations on moving on to the next round of the Portuguese Cup.

It was really great game to watch yesterday. In general, Braga looking very solid now and that huge loss against Sporting few weeks ago now looks like excpetion from the rule. Now they will face Nacional in semifinal - club from 2nd division. In other semifinal Porto will play against Famalicao. Semifinal will consist from 2 legs.
In upcoming round main game will be Sporting - Porto. Attractive odds for Porto. Watched recent Sporting game against Rio Ave, they won, but game was such awful and boring. While Benfica already played round 20 game few weeks ago, as I understand, it was rescheduled because of Champions league.

Yes, Benfica anticipates the game because of the next Champions League game, in order to have more preparation time. This round, he will stay at home watching his main rivals Sporting vs Porto play, hoping to see if he increases his distance in the lead or not.

The odds are more favorable to Porto, because historically they win more often. But Sporting really needs a victory to get back in the race for 2nd place, which gives direct access to the Champions League.

Great game between Sporting and Porto which ended with Porto win 1:2. First goal of Uribe, it's impressive how he managed to go through 3 defenders. In 2nd half it already looked that Sporting managed to make score 1:1, but goal was cancelled after VAR review. And after few minutes Porto closed the game by scoring 2nd goal. After all, Sporting scored their goal, but it was too late already. In general, they didn't played bad, but you have no right to make such big mistake in defence against team like Porto. Maritimo had solid game against Braga, they scored first goal, but their joy didn't lasted for long, as Braga responded with a goal just after minute and they closed first half by scoring penalty. In 2nd half result didn't changed and this important win let Braga to increase their lead from Sporting by 8 points, just 2 points behind Porto and Benfica is still possible to reach.

from what I see, benfica is playing well and has been winning games without E. fernandes, so this is a situation in which benfica profited as always, benfica is a team that is already well prepared to adapt when a player is sold, that's because they are used to buying cheap players and selling for a very high price and making a profit, they have been in this business for years, winning the Portuguese league and just for the sake of reputation and access to the champions league, but they already have the business of selling of players that gives them good profit




I thought that Braga would have no difficulties in winning this game, but after Braga conceded 1 goal, I began to see that it would be a very difficult task for Obraga to win this game, in the end, it came out with a profit.

Benfica is like Sevilla in La Liga. They are growing from average clubs to top clubs in their leagues and join tier-2 clubs in Europe. They have similar growth strategy by building up good scout teams to hunt for youth talented players. Then buy those youth players with cheap prices and give them chances to play in their leagues. If those youth players succeed to grow up, they sell those players and get good money for their clubs.

With the defeat against Porto, Sporting was 15 points from first place and 10 points from second place. It is practically impossible to get to these places in the table. And with Braga's victory, third place is also very difficult.

Today it will be interesting to see Boavista vs Casa Pia, where we will see if Casa Pia manages to stay in the top places.

the goal that Pepe made in 90+4 minutes was the winning goal for Porto even though in 90+7 minutes Chermiti managed to score 1 goal for Sporting

That's the only chance clubs like Sevilla in Spain or Benfica in Portugal have. The Primeira Liga is not attractive enough for strong talents to stay there when huge clubs are already knocking on their door. Benfica could benefit a lot from making it quite far this Champions League season. The comparison to Sevilla is a bit problematic as Sevilla is a bit in a stagnation phase and they will have trouble qualifying for big tournaments for next season. They have usually been strong in the Europa League and it's a game on eye level against PSV.

The fight between Fc Porto and Benfica is all about both waiting for the other team to make a mistake, but they just don't as of now.

Casa pia is better than Boavista. The 3 points are very important to cover their pace with Victoria de Guimaraes and if they fail, it's also going to be a good opportunity for Arouca to overthrow them and of cause, they know this. Both Boavista and Casa pia didn't have a good result in their last match and as such will fight so hard to have a win today to gain the better advantage of moving up in the standing. It is going to be an interesting match.

Fc Porto has shown to be more committed in winning matches in their league after yesterday encounter with sporting cp that ended in their favour despite that the winning goal against the host team came very late in the 97th minutes of the extra time, the visiting team continued with the good record the have with sporting cp, to me the 3points matters at this point and that was achieved by the away team.

Maritimo hosted Braga in an encounter that added an extra 3points to the visiting team, it wasn't an easy one for Braga despite that the won the first half of this game, I will say if not for the red card that was shown to the host team player they would have equalized because after this red card the host team possessed more ball than the away side both completed passes, shot on target and goal attempt was all in favour of the home side  but luck was not on their side.

Maritimo played better than expected. I didn't think they would attack that much. They also took the lead, but it was their unlucky day and lost 2-1. It was a big 3 points for Braga because they won 3 points in a game they played behind. Porto-Sporting match, on the other hand, ended with Porto's away win, and Porto's leadership possibilities still remained. Sporting's only goal now is to join the champions league.

The few games i can see of porto are not so good playing by them. They need to improve more if they want to win the championship.

Sporting played better, but it wasn't effective in the opportunities it had. Porto, on the other hand, benefited from a rebound to score the first goal, and then the second goal was the result of an excellent counterattack. Other than that, he didn't do much else.

those damn Estoril became a shitty team, they didn't even manage to score at least 1 goal, their defense and their attack is real shit, I even thought that at least in this game those damned ones would get a draw, but not even that those cursed ones didn't make it, and to my disappointment in addition to those cursed ones losing by many goals, inter also went to draw against an opponent in which it was very easy to win

with that I lost my bet, I hope I can get better results in other bets, there are games that are very risky to bet on, especially when they are inconsistent teams or that are going through a bad phase

First of all, man how do you do that beatifull graph/tabble? Do you use a program outside forum and afeter it you copy/paste here?.

Talking about the football, i think Sporting needs fast to cut that gap to Braga.
And Benfica its solid but the gap its not so big against Porto.
