What do you buy/want to buy with crypto? I myself buy services sometimes, and crypto miners.

I've put a few options on the poll that I'm exploring, feel free to vote, but would love to hear your thoughts too.

Yes compliance & regulatory requirements is definitely a challenge, we actually partnered with a company who handles our payments (crypto and fiat) & legal obligations for us, since they already have licenses in several parts of the world.

As for overseas shipments, not at the moment, but primarily because of logistical reasons. We want timely deliveries, so we only accept deliveries within Australia for now (it makes it easier to manage for the time being). What country are you from by the way?

Oh yes agreed with the mining, we decided to take that off too, just need to update our site. The idea behind it was to promote the concept of "spend from what you earn", as in we wanted to introduce crypto mining onto our platform as one of the ways we help users earn, to then either cashout or use on our platform.

We decided this was too complicated, so instead we'll be using other investment opportunities to help our users earn. At the moment, just giving interest on deposited assets.

I currently have no problem with not being able to spend crypto on almost anything I can think of when it comes to my country or within the EU where there are no customs duties and delivery is relatively fast. Therefore, I don't see much sense in ordering anything from outside the EU, because it significantly increases the price of the product due to customs and delivery, and also means a longer waiting time for the product to arrive.

Somehow it seems to me that such business ventures should be focused on the national market, although this does not prevent anyone from trying to expand internationally, but first it would be good to succeed on the domestic market.

Maybe add more crypto-related things that locals would usually get overseas e.g. steel plates for seed backups?--best to become an official retailer of some brands-- it gives your platform an edge since locals would save on the shipping cost. Offering discounts for other stuff could encourage people to opt for crypto payments as well.

AFAICR, I haven't seen a dedicated Australian marketplace for buying/selling collectible items in this field <sup>[if you check the "Collectibles" board, you'll see how cool most of the items are].

I want to buy food and pay my bills with cryptocurrency. This way 90% of my expenses can be paid without being necessary to swap crypto into fiat first, therefore I can almost completely eliminate fiat usage from my daily life, while also eliminating the fees I have to pay when exchanging money and transacting it from one place to another.
Another kinds of products are also interesting to pay with crypto, although their impact in life is tiny, since I make such purchases very rarely.

Since cryptocurrencies are conceived as full-fledged electronic money, they should have the function of ordinary money - payment for any goods and services without restrictions on certain types or categories. No mate, he isn't asking if what cryptos do we want to buy but he asks if what do we want to buy with our cryptos or the profits that we could get on them. And how can you say that his options are small for you when he already have luxury items and miners on the poll list? Do you think they are small/cheap? Well, think again.

If you're in a place where cryptos are not a legal tender and there is only less to no merchants that accepts crypto, well yes you need to convert your cryptos first to fiat before you can be able to use them however there's also crypto cards which supports visa, mastercard and others. You can also swipe your card to pay directly on supported merchants.

Well, I don't think that would be a potential one, because mining depends on which country you are in.
Here in my place, the crypto mining business is not worth it because the electricity bill is too expensive --which I think is good if you are in cold places like Russia, Finland, or even in Iceland thank surely the cooling system is not needed.
For me? I will buy assets or stocks that will generate profit aside from crypto. That would be the best investment that come from crypto.

It's a nice initiative and that's definitely how sme big brands are built by coming up to be pioneers to what could be a trend I the near future. On what I would have liked to buy?
Pretty much everything or or things that isnt groceries (at least not at the moment), especially the heavy duty stuff and most of all, electronics. Sadly, when it comes to cryptos and transacting across borders as per shipment, it comes with some challenges as you've already sited

Generally it would be interesting to buy electronics using cryptocurrencies, but at the moment I do not buy anything with crypto, and just store it in the HitBTC wallet that I discovered recently.

This is a big mistake if you still store your Bitcoin on that shady exchange, though they're one of the oldest exchanges it seems like they're selectively scamming their users by locking and freezing users' accounts.  The private key isn't with you, it's not totally safe at all.
I have heard also they have high fees when trading your coin in their wallet which is not really good.

But that's good, holding your Bitcoin while there's a bear market is a wise decision.
Good thing there's an online store that directly accepts Bitcoin in your place, in my place, I didn't try this.

building a retail business or shopping mall that accepts payments via crypto is not an easy matter, you must have good management skills, it's better to start slowly from the bottom so you can find a good business model for your plan, good luck in the future.

It will be very helpful to buy goods that we like to have but not available in our country. I like to DIY many things and sometime lack on products which are not available in my country and have to import them from overseas. And the payment system that requires your bank and card information, I don't trust them and there's always chance of getting hacked by hackers.
To me crypto payment is the very secure and if you take proper precaution, it is nearly impossible to track that information back to you.
And also other things that are available in our surrounding. I would like to buy them too.

There are lots of things on my mind right now which I can easy get with fiat money though I wish to experience feeling of purchasing any item at all using cryptocurrency but haven't gotten an opportunity yet to do so due to the location I am and how the policy here is not crypto favoured.
But should such come to be, I'll love to buy a landed property (estate) using crypto and I believe the process will be less stressful to transact when compared with using fiat due to the amount that would be need to purchase such estate as I desire someday.

This website is ok for me, it is beautiful and there are three options to choose which currency you want to use for payment as bitcoin, Ethereum, and Usdc. I hope other online shops will have it.

I voted for luxury products which I think the same as other people, just for style in front of my friend and associate. but again, it's not a "luxury products" thing, it's just only a brand whose function is the same as other non brand products.

Again there are many people who have lost their money from this cryptocurrency. But I am really lucky that I have been able to do a lot by earning from this cryptocurrency. Yes, it is very cheap when I compare it to the other VPN I saw. And Bitcoin or Ethereum is among the payment options that can be used if I have a monthly plan.

      So it's not a bit of a bitpay provider that they accept like coingate and coinpayment that is the choice if they want to pay via cryptocurrency. But I also don't see any problems just in case, thanks to this information.

Here in my country, there are other merchants here that accept bitcoin as one of the options for online payment. But most of the time it is used in local exchanges and Pawnshops that partner with blockchain technology or bitcoin.

There are also other provinces here where even small businesses accept bitcoin as payment for purchases. And in my experience, I can use bitcoin in my billings to pay them. And the rest is about food.

They did create a platform but as it seems, they got a lot of work to do to really make it work and attract users towards it. The web layout and design both need upgrades or at least some touch-ups, some of the buttons and stuff don't really look nice to the eye, especially the ones in the header along with social media links.

Many countries are taking step to accept BTC. some countries installed BTC ATM and citizens can easily Withdraw btc payment from these ATM. No doubt El Salvador supported Btc very much and they make Bitcoin city. Some Others devolped countries also legalize crypto. india has also legalized but 30% tax applied for crypto transaction which is bit higher. Nigeria also approved Blockchain use some week ago. Honkong also looking positive as they announced something big for retail investors to trade btc and Eth

If El Salvador had a worse economic situation than before after adopting Bitcoin, this news would have been much more widely reported by various media outlets. But the sad thing is that even though the economic conditions in their countries have improved after adopting Bitcoin, these news are not getting much coverage because the media is more comfortable to only publish negative news of Bitcoin. If so, you must be pretty lucky because not everyone can get enough money as profit from gambling to be able to pay mortgages for their properties or to spend on things they want to buy with cryptocurrencies, only the luckiest people can be able to do that.

There are lots of things I personally would love to buy with cryptocurrency but unfortunately most online stores in my country does not accept payment with bitcoin or other cryptocurrency currencies. And buying outside my country might seem costlier due to high custom chargers and shipment fees.

It keep me safe buying with cryptocurrency than having to drop my credit card details to online retailers which is very risky to me and they can even deduct more funds as time goes on without permission.

That would be an amazing day when online e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon will start accepting cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin for payment so that one can be able to buy almost anything they want with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that they have. I know that one can do that by buying gift cards with Bitcoin and then using those cards for purchasing items at online stores like Amazon but that is not as fun as paying directly with Bitcoin from your wallet.

Will you still welcome that kind of person? LoL but I agree about adding that option because some of us are addicted to shopping and we can add multiple items on our cart. You are a die-hard investor if you don't like using your cryptos to buy an item. You think you can benefit more if you HODL it but once you cash out your cryptos for profits you can still use the money to buy the item that you like or always been dreaming of because you can now finally afford them.

Like you, I only spend my crypto on the basic items that I know I will surely need like prepaid credits to make a call to someone who doesn't have a good internet connection. The rest of my coins will only be HODL'ed for future use.

I have not yet purchased any product with bitcoin or cryptocurrency, but I hope in the future I will purchase product by paying with virtual currency. However, luxury goods are now being purchased with bitcoins, which is a truly remarkable process. I noticed that in Portugal you can buy a luxury house with bitcoins there are transactions with bitcoins which sounds really awesome. I don't have this on my mind but want to have it as well someday.

I have not yet purchased any product with bitcoin or cryptocurrency, but I hope in the future I will purchase product by paying with virtual currency.

You should try it. Look for some online shopping websites near you and check if they're okay to accept payments in crypto and usually, they'll just uses a third party service for its automatic conversion to fiat.

The user base of crypto currency is increasing on a daily. More people are now aware of crypto and how it functions, the only challenges most people have is integrating crypto related payments into their businesses.

Imagine if compliance wasn't an issue, loads of people would have also adopted it but then compliance is still not enough to stop businesses across the globe from accepting crypto

Loads of people want to use crypto to be used on a daily without getting to convert to fiat, for example, a retailer will expect a customer to come and pay for groceries with crypto.

Yep, agreed with you. Most crypto maxies are all about using crypto for daily transactions, and using Bitcoin as a store of value.

Products are currently being bought in countries around the world by crypto. If I had the chance to buy any product with crypto, I would definitely buy luxury items. However, luxury goods are now being purchased with bitcoins, which is a truly remarkable process. I noticed that in Portugal you can buy a luxury house with bitcoins there are transactions with bitcoins which sounds really awesome. So I also hope to buy luxury goods and products with crypto in the future. It will be my future dream and I will fulfill one time by buying luxury goods with Bitcoin.

The people of El Salvador are quite happy with this aspect as they have the convenience of buying anything in their country with Bitcoin. All of us who are involved with Bitcoin probably have some dream that they will buy something with their Bitcoin. Many people dream of buying a luxurious car with Bitcoin, and many people dream of buying daily necessities with Bitcoin, but due to the different governments of different countries taking different decisions regarding Bitcoin transactions, this opportunity does not become available to the general public. What happened in Portugal was only due to the single decision of those two gentlemen. According to them, if it is possible to buy something in combination with two people and if the medium of transaction is Bitcoin, then it is possible to complete the purchase and sale of something through Bitcoin.

You know, many VPN services allow payment with cryptocurrency and even offer discounts for this form of payment. It’s good that there are anonymous VPN services that do not require passport data. I know that many people participating in retrodrops pay with Bitcoin for the accounts they buy. Twitter accounts, for example. Also sometimes accounts on centralized exchanges, which may not be available in some countries. I also knew a man who bought a used car with bitcoins.

Well, there are places where we can spend our bitcoins to get some services or products, but those are very limited to our overall needs and usually we have to spend fiat in order to meet our daily needs, equipment's and services. I wish we can buy everything with bitcoin but this would not be possible until bitcoin is legally accepted in all countries and then every online and offline store will include bitcoin payment methods.

Right now, no physical store offer bitcoin or crypto payment methods and also there are very few online stores giving opportunities to buy their goods and services in bitcoins. Many renowned online store do not offer crypto payments and there are bound to spend our credit cards (fiat money) in order to buy things form there.

I don't want to buy any mining machine with cyptocurrency because no crypto mining or cyptocurrency is accepted in my country. But from my country I want to do some local business of my country. If I can get involved in local business from my country, I can live my life in a lot of mobility. I had a period when I wasn't doing very well but ever since I got introduced to Bitcoin and started earning from it I am doing very well and supporting my family very well. Here everything is possible by working in this cryptocurrency. Suppose if I have a lot of cryptocurrency, I will build a home decoration shopping mall (where there is everything for home decoration) in my country where people will constantly come and buy interesting products from my shopping mall.

What do you mean “Lingerie” haha! For me I’d love to buy things that are worth a lot of money with crypto. Because averagely crypto money isn’t small funds. So, probably buy a house of my own and a really nice car as well (not luxurious). I already am invested in some things, if there was some funds remaining I’d invest more.

The rental property option is good but I feel discouraged. Maybe because it requires maintenance.
