I still don't get why you even bought a hardware wallet during your stay instead of doing it when you get back home (when you can order anything you like).
Especially this late into your stay, when appparently you're only there for a 'few more days'.
I was under the impression that it had something to do with not wanting to leave coins on an exchange or software wallet.
Withdrawing from an exchange a week earlier or later won't probably make much of a difference.
I think I didn't say that before, but it's cheaper to buy abroad than in my country, not only hardware wallets, but hardware in general.
I paid 59 USD + tax, in my country it was more than 100 USD, other options in my country are unknown people selling on market, or import, but usually this kind of package will be taxed, so the reason to buy in my trip is money and to buy in a reliable store.
I'm happy with my choice, because it's my first wallet, I'm learning here how to use it. I know there are newer wallets with more resources.
(when BTC reach 100k I can buy another wallet, a better one hehehe
)
A question, I don't know if anyone can aswer, but, let's suppose Ledger ends support, I can still use my wallet with my seed, and use with Electrum wallet, or metamask, without using Ledger Live, right?
