Why is Queen being _moaned even by those she colonised or even enslaved? Is it because of the sympathy of death or for national honor. Besides, Queen is well aged and should be celebrated instead of being _moaned.

Colonisation was never a bad thing, countries that was colonised then be the Queen are doing much better today. Colonisation of most countries brought civilisation, education and good system of government.  The Queen is being celebrated because people really understand and acknowledge the role played by her to make the world a better place. She will always be remembered for are good efforts.

I think the best question to be the determinant to this is, if a people that were colonised ever liked it. If your answer should he yes or no, iys entirely subject to what impact it left on you or your people. That's because, though it might result in a quick civilisation as it is not evitable but it often live marks that might become endemic in a people and cuase trauma through a life a generational life time. But that's entirely dependent on a people and what they took from there colonisation

The death of queen elizabeth brings an end to an era. I think she was epitome of grace. Wherever she went she recieved respect for her grace.. May her soul rest in peace.
She had been a good mother so far, a mother of virtue with so so much grace respect for her. I so much admire her passionate love for humanity and all she was able to achieve when she was still alive. She had been a good epitome of peace and unity. What a mother for all with so much kindness and humility to bring peace and comfort to all.

It is a big pleasure having her as a real queen that had brought a lots of chances and utility to the world. Rest on mother Elizabeth for eternity.

Rockstarguy made a statement that wasn't connected to a real life experience. When someone makes a statement connected to emotions you will know compared to mare statements emanating from the thumb and not the heart. The Queen is gone and tributes paid to her, yet she wants to still live 63yrs after her death, that is why she left a message on vault to be readable 63yrs later. That is great, her memories will remain fresh, to some countries good memories and to other countries, memories of exploitation. That is the two sides of humanity which everyone posses including the Queen.

I have read much about the queen, her efforts in the society. How the queen lived her life really makes to understand that indeed life is beautiful. Money was not an issue to the queen, she had more than enough and she almost lived a century. The queen will always be remembered for her great works.

Of course, when you look at all the nefarious governmental dealings that the British royalty did down through the ages, then you finally find out how government screws the people almost all of the time.

The Nazi-Connected British Royal Family Still Wields Incredible Power

...

The Windsor’s connections to Nazi Germany go far beyond Prince Harry wearing a Nazi costume to a friend’s party, and footage of the Queen giving a Nazi salute in the 1930’s. The Queen’s uncle, Edward VIII, who was the King for a brief period in 1936 before abdicating to marry Wallis Simpson, is well-known to be a Nazi sympathizer.

In 1937, he visited Nazi Germany along with his wife, meeting Adolf Hitler and other high-level Nazi officers. The BBC even reports that during his visit to Germany, evidence suggests he went “to the early stages of a concentration camp.” Karina Urbach, a historian and author, also argues that Edward VIII advocated a bombing campaign being waged against Britain prior to the German onslaught.

Prince Phillip, the Queens husband, and a man who stated in a 1984 interview that the human population was “reaching plagueproportions”, has numerous ties to the Nazi regime, with many members of his family marrying high-ranking officers. As the Times of Israel and AFP reported in an article titled, Buckingham Palace braces for new documentary on Nazi ties:

“Three of Prince Philip’s sisters were married to senior Nazi officers, including Sophie, who wed Prince Christoph von Hessen, head of the SS in the Air Ministry.”

Its a privilege to see the reign and death of the Queen of England in one's lifetime. Have seen the epitome of royalty and authority in her life time and pray she rest well. I saw the movie the crown few years back and I appreciate the British royalty, the culture, power and discipline for the thrown. Now I one see how it was well prepared for, which shows the orderliness and preparation even in the turmoil around the world. For those mentioning colonization, most came before the reign of Queen Elizabeth, let us at least let this honor be for her in few days.

The countries who will have memories of exploitation is a product of misused power. The outcome of colonisation is a by product of what one makes of it. Blaming failure of governance on colonisation is a way to display a high level of low value worth. The queen tried her best to bring civilisation to the shady part of the world and every region that got civilised chose for themselves how to use what they got

I wonder how would the UK be without the Queen and how are they gonna be with their new King. it's really rare to have this kind of scenario because we've been used to having the Queen of Britain for a time and now the change will occur maybe not now but in the upcoming months or years. As we know some British doesn't want Charles to be the King but let's just give the man a chance to prove himself and regain his honor with his new obligation to the Kingdom.

People will adjust the same way they adjusted when a king died in the past. The monarch system is not as sovereign as it used to be, which could be a distraction until we get used to it. King Charles is not strange or hidden before now, thats makes it easy to adjust to and I think as a younger man he will be more relevant and active than the queen at her old age

I don't know how things work in the UK and how impactful the monarchy is as compared to the current modern Government system. I feel like the monarchy is more of a cultural or traditional thing and does not have much to do with people's day-to-day lives. So based on that, I think it will just be business as usual once the funeral is done.

The Kings and Queens of England are just the rich guy in town. A hereditary privilege that is pretty much senseless on a modern democracy. Now, if you have to live with it, at least they should be providing the right level of service for the immense privileges they have (the land and properties of the Crown are beyond measure). Elizabeth did provide such a service most of the times... Charles III has failed even before commencing.

The Queen ruled more than expected of her. Ruling for 70 years in England means that she ruled well and the people of England were on good terms with her and they enjoyed her ruling over them. Unfortunately, death can't be overruled when it comes knocking at your death. If it was, the queen's royal family would have bought it with money.

The only bad remark about Queen Elizabeth from some African countries is that she ruled and regarded them as slaves.

Do you think she would have been "ousted" if she ruled "badly"?

With the current modern politics, Kingdoms and monarchies seem obsolete and have little impact on citizens in terms of laws and how they are governed, yet locals still tend to have high respect for the kings, queens and chiefs. I have seen this first hand when I moved around different countries that still have Kingdoms, Chiefdoms and monarchies.

There are lots of unwritten laws in Britain and some that are not open to the public. I knew after Boris resignation that those that came up for the post as foreigner wont be elected. The monarch role is silent and royal, she approves the prime minister, open new government session and give royal approval to bill which passes it as a law. A king has dismissed the prime minister in the pass and laws were rejected but not any more, the Monarch role has not changed that much in Dubai even with modernization

For the first time in my life, I find someone who enumerates the advantages of colonialism. How can you conclude that colonialism brings urbanization, education and good governance?

Most of the countries colonized by Britain still suffer from the remnants of that colonialism even after their independence, and to this day they do not enjoy full influence over their wealth and even their sovereign decisions. Colonialism brings the colonizer's culture, which, even if it seems good to us, is at the expense of the original culture of the peoples and at the expense of the history of those peoples, so it distorts and erases it.

Many nations were not colonized and were developed countries and formed great civilizations.
