That the purpose and implementation of Bitcoin is certainly correct. Implementation of clean water is very good for Nigerian people. Because where clean water has to travel a long way, Bitcoin has given its true identity. Although It has made it possible for poor and hardworking people to drink clean water.

Am really happy that bitcoin is touching life in my country Nigeria, am sure in most rural areas in Nigeria most people don’t know about bitcoin, am sure with this kind of projects taking place am sure people in all those rural areas will start learning about bitcoin, they will begin to know about bitcoin. I hope more of this projects will be spread across different rural areas in the country, it will help the people in the rural areas that are suffering from lack of access to portable water supply and it will help bitcoin spreed across the country.

Kind of this Initiative always  keeps me motivated in following such steps , i also planned to establish something similar but will not ask for any donation instead from my own pocket with small amount ? I know that i can serve people in various depressed places to at least bring them water to drink or small cooperative to help their community have profit even in small way.
I promise to myself that once I earn better in my holdings in the next bullrun? at least I will provide one of those plans sooner.

I think you are right on point, I like the discussion you have here, I think the things you don't cover here are correct, the Nigerian water with Bitcoin is correct here.

This is such a wholesome post. It has touched my heart. And their smile is so priceless. Everyone is trying to find the flaw and bad side of BTC and no one should see this. The joy which it brings. Respect man only respect.

This good news makes me smile happily. somehow. but I feel happy also seeing people who can get happiness. Clean water is a very valuable thing in life. because we humans really need water. even our bodies are mostly made up of water. and what makes me happy is that there is a bitcoin contribution in it. that's good news. I appreciate the charitable organization that has helped people in need. I hope more people do good on this earth.

Africa needs all the help it can get from anywhere. That is why I am also perplexed when I see some governments restricting or banning the use of Bitcoin. Bitcoin has the potential of attracting more investors to these poor countries. And these firms would definitely contribute to the development of their host communities. There are still some coastal villages in Africa that drink water that they use as toilets because that is their only source of water. But seeing a foundation funded by Bitcoin carrying out such a selfless project is very commendable. It should serve as a pointer that Bitcoin has more positive contributions to give to society.

this is one proof that bitcoin can be used for good for the welfare of the environment and society. Charity through bitcoin is really a good initiative. and deserves to be developed. so every charity should provide the option of accepting charity via crypto and bitcoin. I hope our brothers and sisters in Nigeria can be helped by the existence of bitcoin. like the example through the generous hands that the OP wrote.

This is very wonderful to me as a Nigerian. The primary problems that the government cannot solve are now being done by the bitcoin industry, which the government has worked very hard to frustrate.
Thank you guys for touching our lives.

It is not "Bitcoin" that funded this, it was the kindness of the people that are using bitcoins... that funded this project. When projects are funded by people using "Fiat" currencies, people do not rant and rave over the currency that was used, so why should it be different for this project.

We should thank the people who organized this and the people who donated "money" to fund it. Thank you to the generous people in the Bitcoin community who opened their wallets to help to pay for the most precious resource those people need.  Wink

The Igbaruku village of Kogi in Nigeria have a reason to celebrate and be happy as the Build with Bitcoin project has once again put smiles on the faces of the 1000 who prior to this intervention, had to trek long distances just to reach a contaminated water source.

This initiative, powered by the Build with Bitcoin project has helped eliminate the issue of children and adults alike falling sick as a result of water borne diseases and because of this, youths who - in a bid to go search for water- end up missing school or quality family time, are certainly grateful for such timely and thoughtful response by the foundation.

The project was aimed at providing communities with clean water, access to quality education, humanitarian support amongst others. And Yusuf Nessary, co founder of the Build with Bitcoin initiative, believes they can now experience first hand Bitcoin education and financial inclusion in the community's native language.

The joy on these children's faces is so priceless and Bitcoin helped put it there!
Gradually, Bitcoin is slowly creeping into the nooks and crannies of the rural areas and all thanks to Bitcoin Inc and Bitcoin magazine who helped in donations, this small village development is a product of Bitcoin.

Thanks for some wonderful things that Bitcoin has brought, even though they may not know what Bitcoin is, what is blockchain, or simpler technology, even without smartphones, but they are the beneficiaries of Bitcoin, except Thankfully, the rest is that the world is no longer constrained by poverty.
