What nonsense is this. Bitcoin is now safer because there’s already many trusted website such as exchange that has to safely buy and sell tokens. Bitcoin is much worst than this when I start in crypto last 2014 because there’s a lot of scam exchange, ponzi and hyip out there that attract newbie like me to invest for a quick profit.

Right now there’s already regulators who regulate those crypto companies to protect all of its consumer. Crypto user is much safer now because there’s already a lot of reliable service available if only they will not touch those shady services especially on shitcoins.

I think the main advice for beginners is just, "invest as much as you can afford to lose". If they were good at considering this, they wouldn't be risking too much of their money.
There is no beginner status for anyone so don't limit the beginners too much with knowledge requirements to enter this space. Scammers are constantly upgrading their scam methods and anyone can be the next target. Loss doesn't just happen due to an internal or intentional mistake, and when it does happen everyone has a similar sense of remorse. We are talking here about risks that are absolute consequences.

Not really, because as long as beginners are willing to learn more about crypto and put their time into practicing it, they can overcome the threat and even reduce the level of risk involved. Everything about a business has its own risks and will depend on the people who want to start it. And if they can be careful before deciding, I think they'll be fine and won't suffer the deception many people experience.

It’s better to be extra careful and be exaggerated than to regret it at the end. I don’t pit all my investment in one wallet same with I o try to invest in other things like real estates and gold than putting all in crypto. We know how scammers will always find way to get victim so we must be always attentive in every link we visit and every code or password we type in. Even before there are already many scammers and some where also able to create their own projects and once succeeded in the ICO they all just run and hide. We should be smarter and learn from our previous experiences as well from experiences of other to avoid losses. That's an option that you could use, but not many people have enough money to buy real estate for example, and I dislike gold because it is definitely not that much better. Think about it this way, gold is an asset that you invest into and it either goes up or down, but when was the last time you spent gold to buy something?

On the other hand, we are talking about bitcoin which is also an investment that can go up or down but you could also spend it to buy something as well. And that is something that members of this forum do all the time, whether it is in this forum, other social media platforms or face to face to our friends and family members, but at the end it is up to each individual to take that decision, and while many newbies are taking the mistaken decision there is nothing we can do as it is their money and they can decide to use it in whatever way they want, and if they want to take huge and unknown risks with it then they are free to take those risks.

If this just going to be one of the main bases in determining a scam in projects. You'll be fooled many times by those scammers that have maintained a well structured fake community.
They can hire those PRs and people talking inside their community to make it look like they're a legit community. As for their workers, they'll just tell that they need engagement but the purpose of it, they're not talking about it because that's what the main purpose it. And that's to make it look genuine that they have real people inside the community. But in reality, it's all fake people that they've hired just to make discussions all over their place.

It's that crypto is the latest thing and in the last 5 years it become so successful that scammers make this as their paradise as there are a lot of naive investors in the market. The don't do any investigations, they just listed to influencers and believed them. And we just have to think that this is our hard earn money so we need to be careful where we are going to invest it here.

Don't trust the sweet words they offer you. Most of them are too good to be true but they will always sound inviting to invest with.
Make a wall to not fully support them unless they have proven themselves worthy of that kind of respect.

When a business thrives, you'll have a bunch of guys who self-proclaimed themself as experts. They're either:
_Scammer is obvious, who only cares about talking sweet into your ear to get your money thru whatever commons scams and tricks out there.
_Ill-informed people with a few successful trades/investments that think of themself as hot shot now. They may not intend to scam you but more like honest mistakes.

You guys know what, if I saw someone on Twitter with all signs about crypto on his bio, I'd rather stay away cause the chance he's the real expert is very low while like the two I said above is very high. Newbies should learn that there is no free lunch on social media.

Nobody wishes to be scammed, nobody throws himself to scam and it is not totally easy to avoid scam when you don't know who the scammer is , what form they are coming with and how smart they are. Scammers are becoming smarter by days and they are dynamic. They keep inventing new strategies even faster than you can imagine.

It is pertinent that we begin to understand the general nature of scam, know the basics of identifying a scam at our finger tips. Only when you know the basis that you will recognise them easily. No matter how smart they may be, they posses similar characters.
