As it stands now Benjamin Netanyahu is pushing for this ceasefire because he has lost support within the country and majority of Isreal's allies are withdrawing their support. Recently the Isreal main opposition leader Yair Lapid had a meeting with the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in Washington. And he critised the way Benjamin is handling the war and as well as the collapse of the relationship between the US and Isreal. The governments kept shut their mouth when Palestinians were killed but on this particular attack people from many countries including US, AUS were killed and the government should take a stand regarding this no matter what or else they will face revolution from the people in many forms from their country.

Israel just wanted to destroy Gaza and inflict so much of damage to the point of no return to normalcy which they have done thanks to the world which had turned blind eye to their crimes and now they want to show like they care for humanity and bothered about hostages when many of them were killed by their own airstrikes? My biggest concern on this Israel and Hamas, war is the casualties being innocent civilians, these two elephants are fighting and innocent civilians are starving and dying. Only this particular attack with 7 victims went viral otherwise the Israeli terrorists have already murdered more than 200 international aid workers in Gaza majority of whom were members of UN.
