I just hope that people in here in this country can be cryptocurrency literate, many people here doesn't even know the true thing about crypto, there's still a bunch of people see bitcoin as scam because it is always being used in scam and there is  many fake coins here in ph that made some people not to like bitcoin. But I am so happy that our country is progressing and we're now having that kind of businesses here.

We should not categorize countries in general, if we have the courage to calculate or make percentages, almost everyone in any country has awareness of bitcoin acceptance, and far from what people say that bitcoin has grown so big in the Philippines, it is evident from one of the an example of a resort adopting bitcoin in the Philippines and could turn into a Bitcoin island in the future, this is an innovative step in driving progress in the tourism sector

When I saw this news for the first time coming from a crypto friend of mine, it was really mind blowing. The adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the Philippines has taken to a whole new level in which a Philippines resort may be turning into a “Bitcoin island” by a crypto wallet provider.

What are your thoughts about this one guys especially Filipinos here on this forum? Would love to hearing some feedback, reactions or opinion from you all here.

Proud to be a Filipino and I would love to visit it to relax and have some fun with my friends.
To be honest some of my friends are already planning to visit Boracay even before this news, so might as well enjoy it with them if it would happen anytime soon.

Could be note my list destination one days later because have small town in Philippines are Boracay accepted payment using bitcoin, trough source link I read most excited get travelling to Boracay because have support around 120 big and small businesses accepted bitcoin as payment currency. Around Philippines is near from my country I am excited next year going there and made first purchase by using bitcoin although in my country still not allowed using bitcoin as payment transaction.

Still need checking about what the amazing place and destination in Boracay although have accepted bitcoin as payment transaction I think need to find placed view and another interested why have to go there. I think many tourist will go there because have accepted bitcoin around all business.

I heard that Boracay is one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines but it's great that they are now accepting bitcoins there. Paying would be less hassle and there is no need to carry a fiat with you whenever you do walk around but a phone is just enough. Traveling to some countries only for the sake of using your btc for local purchases seems not worth it in my opinion.

What will you do once you successfully bought an item there? Will you go back immediately to your country? It would be better if we travel for a major reason like we sincerely like the place. The experience of using our btc on that place can be only treated as a bonus.
