Trynews – UN refugee agency, Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Will soon provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees through USDC stablecoins stored in digital wallets running on the Stellar network (XLM).
Based on the latest announcement, the UN UNHCR has launched a program to use Stellar blockchain technology in transferring USDC. USDC is a stablecoin created by Circle and Coinbase. This project is supported by the US dollar and US Treasury securities.
