If you want to mine, it is not easy. You have to calculate the electricity the miners you want to use will consume over certain period of time, buying the miner, other mining equipments and joining a mining pool. If you can not mine yourself, do not mine, do not join any cloud mining site.

You are right, I will always consider cloud mining sites to be scams. We have seen quite a number of people being fooled by cloud mining sites.

it's like double the money. when you deposit some money, it will be doubled by the site. but if we send money, then we will be deceived.

In their About Us page they clain they have been in this business since 2000 while their domain name was registered only a year ago!
They also claim they are a registered company but they do not provide the registration number or how to verify its validity!
The reviews look fake!
Googling their address doesn't return any relevant result!

Oh God, where is the website you are talking about. This one is a real newbie. Mate you would have dropped the website like https://www.worldexpertminer.com/home here for easy access, instead of using it only on the title of the thread. Now we have to go to google to search for it before coming back to make comprehensive comment. The way I look at that site, it is a platform of third hands traders, whereby you sign up and deposit bitcoin and the developers of the forum would used it to trade for you. And at that process anything can happened. Might not able to withdraw your funds or the website would be under maintenance until your funds are diverted. Therefore, if I am the one that will recommend a platform for you to trade I will say use Binance or Remitano these are open source platforms for trading.

Initially they said she could invest $2,000, but the next day, they wanted more saying she had already profited 4k and they want another $1200  and she had to do this or she might lose everything. Every day, the demands escalated, she sent them $20,000 today, saying they would not need to ask for more. That's where we are at the moment.

How stupid are you guys? $20K isn't a small amount and how your sister sent money to them without knowing anything about them? This is a very old scam method around the crypto world. When they first time asked for another deposit then you should ask here. So we may prevent making any future deposits. Now we can't help to recover money. Don't be greedy and don't lose money this way. There is no shortcut to earning money online.

There is no way out of the mistake your sister has already made, because the scammers will never return the funds. Every day I see various tempting offers online, and I also know that there are scam motives behind these offers. This is a big lesson for you and your sister to avoid falling victim to such scams in the future.

Sorry to hear that story from your sister ricaltman. As I'm browsing the website, it doesn't really look legitimate at all. After reading a few things under the "Advantages you stand to gain". This is where the false promises starts like the one that they've mentioned about the following:

• Expert management

The worst part of the list:

• Best Investment Plan and prices of the plans

You don't listen to a stranger about giving you investment websites because most of them are likely a scam. If it's all about money, you don't trust a random person that you've just met online because the chances of them sucking your money through these schemes that are likely scams is very high.
