Perhaps you are right, but on the other hand, maybe another coach could achieve a better result with such an England team. The whole difficulty is that they won’t find out until they change the coach, but firing a coach because he led the team to the final twice and didn’t win is also stupid. I haven't seen any mention of England changing their coach, and before doing so you need to know who could be a worthy replacement.

England have not won a Major trophy in the last 50 years and the present coach is the only coach who has brought them twice to the door step of winning but has lost it. There is no better option as coach currently, and there's no time to start trying out now options when the world cup is close. England team are close to winning something, and sometimes when they have suffered this kind of collective loss amongst themselves it may make them more focus in the next competition to make sure that they do not have such an experience again.

After what Southgate has achieved with the England national team thus far, it is unlikely that the FA will take the decision to kick him out. What might actually happen is that the FA ties him up with a new contract instead. He might be considered to have failed to win the Euro trophy twice but he had taken England to the final and in fact, there is no other coach besides him who can do all that. So it stands to reason that Southgate is considered the most successful coach among previous England coaches.

Southgate has achieved significant success but may be criticized for his lack of success in the finals. They couldn't win the finals, but they managed to get to the finals. This will keep Southgate on track until the next tournament. The change of Harry Kane in the final match was criticized a lot, but Spain had already dominated the game with their great play. And as for the English coach, Garry Southgate, I think he was the primary reason the English team lost this particular game, am saying so because the likes harry Kane and phill foden aren't doing anything in the field of play, before this game, folden has played six matches already without an assist and a goal, instead of the coach Garry Southgate replacing him with cole palmer, he left him on the bench for too long, and that applies to harry Kane also, he was practically ineffective all through, I believe that Watkins and cole palmer would have done more better than harry Kane and phill foden if they have started,  and that is what cost them dearly in this past finals.

After watching the match between Spain Vs France, i felt that Spain has more possibility to win the final and so is happened. Well This is not the first time Spain proved themselves, won this UEFA Euro championship many time. the final match between Spain vs England, was interesting enough. Although both team were only busy to defending their oppennt, instant of attacking in 1st half. That's why, no goal was scored. But spain control the field most of the time and from 2nd half, spain became more dedicative and they were on attacking mode. That's why 1st goal were scored by N. Williams at 47th minutes behalf of spain. That time England was supposed to be in pressure but after a long, 2nd goal were Scored by C. Palmer at 73th minutes behalf of England and thus both team reached same level. I was waiting for last minutes to see which team was going to Scored a goal and it's spain! M. Oyarzabal scored another goal at 86th minutes behalf of spain and then they focus on defending and thus they won the match.

The breaking news Gareth Southgate resigns as England manager after Euro 2024 final defeat.

FA wanted Southgate to stay but the manager decided to resign after all. Like him or dislike him, Southgate can be considered as one of most successful coaches of England team in many decades. England team rarely go to semi final match of World Cup or Euro and Southgate did it in World Cup 2018 (semi final) and more impressive, two Euro final matches in 2021 and 2024.

Southgate has reasons to resign, he perhaps felt tired with lot of pressure on his shoulders or he saw that he hit his own management limits. It's time for goodbye and wait for his next job position, maybe as a club manager.

After watching the match between Spain Vs France, i felt that Spain has more possibility to win the final and so is happened.

You should have been convinced  about that after they won Germany, although it was very tough but they won I wish it didn't come sooner I was expect semifinals because  Germany also played excellently before that game just like Spain.
France on the other hand didn't perform so well in their group stage so I wasn't surprised they lost to Spain, thus Spain really deserve it than England , they haven't been getting a competitive opponent throughout (England), they were very relaxed...

The team of tournaments for the Euro has been released and looking at some of the players who are chosen as the team of this tournament seems to be quite reasonable where the average is a player from Spain who is the champion at the euro this time.

It's just that what concerns me is how only Kyle is indeed a representative of England, even though seeing from the condition of the team we should know that they have players who are indeed very good but this is the impact of a performance that is not too good in terms of Southgate's attack scheme because after all even though this depends on the player but I will still blame Southgate's carea in managing star players even though some of them have extraordinary potential.

The Guardian has written like the FA's next target should be to bring Jürgen Klopp for the job. However this doesn't sound realistic considering he is on a career break now. There are still other candidates out there who would be much more suitable than Southgate.

Congratulations to Spain are in order, they played the European Championship very well, I would say the only team to play practically impeccably.  Their ball possession and their way of dribbling obviously means a lot of good technique and also means knowing how to play.  I can't stand people who make long passes just because they don't know how to make short passes.

The English coach has suffered from too much criticism and attacks by sports pundits and ex-footballers. Nobody expected the three loins to make it to the finals. But we saw how the team improved as the competition progressed. Gareth Southgate will remain the most successful English coach after taking them to two successive finals. He doesn't deserve to be sacked because many coaches have not even been able to make it to the quarter-finals of the competition. I think the English FA will not sack him, he would be allowed to keep improving the team.

Regarding the late introduction of Cole Palmer, I think it was a tactical strategy. Each time the Chelsea player is introduced with Ollie Watkins they end up getting a goal. You don't expect Southgate to keep Harry Kane on the bench, he is a player who has a lot of experience and should be respected. You will be surprised that Palmer would have been inactive if he had been played from the beginning. Kane will soon retire from international football and Cole Palmer's time will come. England has hired bigger coaches but none of them have achieved what Southgate has done with the team. 

If you ask me, I'd say the opposite, because most of what fans and non fans must have said are positive criticisms. He's one of the managers being backed by his ex-teammates from both countryside and clubside. Erik Ten Hag won two finals in two seasons, not just that, took Manchester United to three finals in two seasons and they all called for him to be sacked.  He is not good for England honestly, he has done his best for them and I don't see that to be successful.

They didn't sack him, he must have resigned all by himself. Goodluck to him with the next phase of his life. The substitute shouldn't have been Kane out for Palmer in, Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Saka, one of them should have been brought out much earlier but he hesitated.

Spain defeated England to win the trophy. With this squad and with this fight, Spain really deserved to win the trophy this season. In the final match, we can say that they played a good game against England, again showing their difference and superiority. There were some unfortunate moments in the game. Especially Olmo's ball from the line in the last seconds was one of the most important moments of the game.

Spain deserved to win this tournament according to their performance since the beginning of the competition. Spain did not lose or draw any of their games from the start, proving that they had the strength to win the trophy, however, there is a difference between England and Spain. At the start of the tournament, I started doubting England because they only won one of their group stage games, I was surprised they made it to the final, I expected them to lose against Switzerland who performed much better.

I blamed the England coach for their failure, I don't know why he chose Foden to start in that game when his performance was so poor, he could have started the match with Palmer, Palmer has been in better form than Foden in this tournament, and he equalized just three minutes after he was brought in. However, many people believe that England failure to win the title was due to Harry Kane's bad luck. It was sad that he had never won a trophy in his career.

By the way, every player in this first 11 deserved it. It should be a matter of pride for the Spanish that Yamal, who turned 17 during the tournament, was in the best 11.

It was really painful because a European Nations Cup trophy would have brought so much joy to a country who have experienced a trophyless run for many decades. Spain was actually the favorite in the finals but the equalizer by Cole Palmer gave England hope that they could win the game. England would have to wait for the World Cup or another four years for the EUROs for them to break the jinx.

There are so many players that I would have wanted to make this team. But I must confess that the players in this squad deserve to be there. Both Musiala and Akanji didn't deserve, I would say Gakpo and Pepe are better than them.

Gakpo perform really well despite his performance in Liverpool wasn't that good while Pepe can still play for full time despite he's 41 years old and he's the second highest rank player in Portugal.

The six Spanish players deserve to get that, especially Cucurella, he's a trash in Chelsea, but unexpectedly can perform really good when he play for Spain.

If you look at the results achieved during the two teams' journey to the final, of course Spain is more worthy of winning the trophy. Spain always achieves positive results and gets rid of strong teams in the knock-out round. Spain success in getting rid of Germany can predict that they will win this tournament. And yes, they managed to finish the last match without having to go through extra time.

In fact, England has the same opportunity as Spain, but they have not succeeded in balancing Spain's strength even though they are strengthened by several players who have no experience at international level.
