The English coach has suffered from too much criticism and attacks by sports pundits and ex-footballers. Nobody expected the three loins to make it to the finals. But we saw how the team improved as the competition progressed. Gareth Southgate will remain the most successful English coach after taking them to two successive finals. He doesn't deserve to be sacked because many coaches have not even been able to make it to the quarter-finals of the competition. I think the English FA will not sack him, he would be allowed to keep improving the team.

Lionel Scaloni is an ordinary manager, doesn't have great experience but was able to bring Argentina to victory in 2 Copa America & 1 WC competitions. So did he become a great manager after that? I don't think so, it all helps because of the good composition & depth of the team from Argentina. I see the same thing with Southgate, wouldn't the English FA want to try another manager to see how the England national team would perform if it came from another manager?

Regarding the due diligence, I think you have to agree with me that the performance of the French national team is better than the English national team, and we should have seen the France - Spain match in the Final, but unfortunately France & Spain had to be in the same bracket.

William Saliba who was not expecting a first team place in the team had a stellar performance for France, If Rodri had not been exceptional too as well in this tournament, Ngolo Kante is another player who deserves to be there on this team of the tournament. Cucurella who was also criticized as the weakest link in the Spain team silenced his critics and made the assist that won Spain the trophy. He deserve a position in this team because he also made many important interceptions.

To also see that the attacking line is dominated by young players not more than 22 years of age is remarkable considering this competition had attackers like Cristaino Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, Mbappe, Harry Kane etc, who have more experience.

Those guys are the main players to make the list, in as much as we saw Walker struggling in the finals he still did his best considering his age. Rodri has been the pillar of the Spanish side in that competition and he has been doing well right from City till this tournament. Cucurella on the other hand did his best and nobody thought he'd be the one to give that assist and I know him to be that weak in terms of crossing from the left flank but that assist changed everything and the boos he got throughout the tournament never weigh him down, I just hope he continues with his current form because Chelsea need him to be at his best.
It is funny not to have those names on the list, they all did pretty bad in the tournament talking about Mbappe, Lukaku Harry Kane and the rest of them and have a list of young players leading the attacking line is a sign that the young generation have hope to make a difference in the world of football, I hope all these won't end at the Euros, they should continue to push harder to start up something different and it shouldn't always be about Messi and Ronaldo on the lips of football lovers.

Actually, I didn't want to mention it, but you're absolutely right. We really shouldn't underestimate the national team, but here, if we look at the performance and strength of each team, Spain is really in a more difficult match compared to England. You summed it just fine except you left out one crucial thing and that is;
England haven’t got no Lionel Messi, yeah you heard that right. With Messi on the pitch for Argentina, you’re sure his there to make a lot of difference. His contributions in goals and assist did help the team greatly although, the Copa America wasn’t won in the regular time with Messi being substituted, his influence through the game and how he inspired his team mates to play is evident in the performance.

Where a strong team like Spain enters the final, it is natural for other teams to fail, but England have done enough to win the title. Generally the Spanish team players were aggressive and experienced, although the Spanish team players performed well throughout. But Harry kane of England team has performed well enough but he is facing some problems due to which he failed to lead the team to victory. 

Because he got a yellow card he was under a lot of pressure afterwards because he was afraid that one more foul and then he would be off the field. France Germany Spain and England were favorites in this tournament but in the end we saw Spain and England in the final. For the final match it was actually a difficult task to pick either team between England and Spain as both Spain and England are strong teams but England did not show their usual performance against Spain. If England had performed a little better, then maybe the dream of winning the Euro title would have been fulfilled but it was not to be. Despite being favorites in the tournament, England eventually lost the title to Spain.

Since the group phase match began, Spain has been able to show quite impressive and very balanced performance both in attack and defense, in contrast to England who indeed look inconsistent in playing even though they were able to reach the final round but that does not make them the favorite to  champhionship, I am quite sure if many of us will to be favorites Spain will become champions if looking at their previous games,  Although England was able to put up resistance to Spain in the final match, Spain was able to play better than England on all fronts, Spain who relied on many young players actually forced England to work hard to be able to dampen the fast play of Spanish players who actually relied on their two wing lines.

I totally agree with you. It would not be wrong to say that the strongest squad of this year's Euros was England's. England's squad had many star players. And every player in the squad is performing regularly at all the renowned clubs in Europe. And these players are performing very well in the club jersey. For example we can see Harry Kane, Bellingham and Saka. These three players have performed brilliantly throughout the season in their club jerseys. But they are not able to perform well in the national team jersey. This is definitely the failure of the coach.

I think Spain and Argentina are champions because of their coach's excellent match strategy. Spain's squad lacked experienced players. I disagree with you here. I will be surprised if they won. Meanwhile, no one is disputing the fact that they have good players and mainly players who are playing for big clubs in the premier league and other popular leagues. But it is a fact that the coach was unable to identify the best position to play each player and the fact that there were several options in every positions was a difficult choice to make.

Honestly, i don't like that fans will be expecting the coach to play players with Big names who at the end won't be able to score or deliver the task in the field. When it comes to international tournaments, there should be a need for transparency and not favoritism. If they see that a particular famous player is not doing well in the pitch then he should be subbed to bring in someone else who will do the work.

I believe this is great news for England, however... It depends on who they are going to bring next. If they don't find a better replacement then this means nothings to them.

When I saw the Euro 11, I was satisfied unlike other tournaments especially Champions League that is most times controversial. When I saw Musiala on the list, I understood that those guys know what they did.
Another thing I noticed is that the 3 attackers are young players which has given me enough conviction that the future is so bright and alot of good food all to be watched in the future.

Not seeing, England attackers like Bellingham or Saka tells volume of the hype they always allege to England media.

This could have actually been a more enjoyable tournament if some other favourites also played better. I mean England and France especially here. I can say England were better to watch at least but still not good enough. Bu thankfully we had Spain and Germany as well.    After Germany were eliminated I was fully confident about Spain to win the title. Nothing is guaranteed in football, I know. But Spain were just too good to believe in a different team to make it.
