You could create an alert, when the person clicks on "Mix Coins", a popup will appear alerting you to the minimum sending.

A notification with a warning in a larger font or a popup if possible are good ideas.
I remember on other platforms there is a notification that if you send below the minimum amount it will be considered a donation.

This is an appreciation post of having the Sinbad brand on the forum for technically 50 plus weeks and still going strong...

50 weeks of the promotional campaign is a really big deal, but the 13th of October was the anniversary of Sinbad being present here on the forum. At least this thread was open then. We somehow missed that date

I remember on other platforms there is a notification that if you send below the minimum amount it will be considered a donation.

It's exactly the same with Sinbad, however, that information can be found in the FAQ section, not the main page. And we all know how much people like to read about a service before using it... they don't.
The main page has information about the minimum mixing amount being 0.001 BTC. Perhaps the same warning could also be added there. Any deposits less than this amount will be considered donations to Sinbad that can't be used to initiate a mixing round.

When the Sinbad mixer first appeared on the Bitcointalk forum, I immediately liked the logo of this service.  

The fact is that since childhood I have been very fond of films and books about pirate romance.  As a child, I loved playing sea robbers.  I loved reading Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, The Odyssey of Captain Blood by Raphael Sabbatini, and The Adventures of Sinbad the Sailor!  

This was my first impression of the Sinbad mixer.  I immediately wanted to join this mixer's signature company...

My desire only intensified when I found out that Sinbad is the best mixer that provides quality services in the field of increasing anonymity and confidentiality when working on the Bitcoin network.  

And it so happened that I soon became a member of the signature company of this project on the Bitcointalk forum!  And now we are celebrating the  50 weeks  of the promotional campaign Sinbad!

I think we all understood you well. One transaction, where the minimum is 0.001btc is correct. Everything else is considered a donation to the mixer.
This is very clearly emphasized in the mixing process, so there really shouldn't be any confusion

The address is valid for 24 hours. Minimum possible amount for this address: 0.001 BTC, maximum amount: 983.15215706 BTC. Use the address only once.

For example, in case you have an amount of 0.0009BTC in two different wallets, the best(only) option is to first consolidate and combine them into one wallet and after that send as much as you want to the mixer.

Actually, you can calculate the fee of mixing your BTC in sinbad on the website. You can choose the amount you want to pay for the mining fee from 0.5 % - 2.5 %. This will determine the priority of your transaction (meaning how fast your transaction will be processed) + sinbad charges a 0.0002 BTC service fee.

You can see a sample calculation by clicking on the calculator on their website.

I will suggest you do your own research (as for any service). Nothing can sufficiently explain a service to you like personal experience.
In the end, you are part of a promotional campaign. It is to be expected that you test the service you are advertising, at least once.

The calculator on the site, which lucifur also mentioned, is quite adequate and will give you a precise calculation of the cost of the entire transaction. You can use it even without finishing the whole mixing process.
The only thing that affects the current state of the network is the transaction fee you will pay when depositing on Sinbad.io

So, for your example, if you send 0.002 BTC, using a 1% service fee, the math looks like this
0.002 - 0.00002 ^{1% mixing fee} - 0.0002 ^{service fee per each address} = 0.00178 BTC

Consolidating beforehand is not necessary but if the UTXOs are in different wallets they will need to move them to the same wallet first so they can deposit in a single transaction. Depositing them in separate transactions would probably not be valid because then people could just spam many small deposits that add up to 0.001 BTC and burden them with high fees.
