What efforts have you made to raise bitcoin awareness in your community?

Well, since I live in a inflationary country, I mostly recommend close people to get into Bitcoin and reliable stable coins as medium of exchange. For now, I have managed to get my family to embrace these kind of assets to make our economical situation a little bit easier, letting them know that Bitcoin is not a scam or a ponzi scheme whatsoever, but it is not a magical tool to make money so I encourage them to distrust any kind of business or scheme that offers them unrealistic passive incomes for their their satoshis or stable coins.

We live in a modern world, and it is the responsibility of those who are educated to educate those around them, because not everything in this life is learned in school. Aside from attending school, there are numerous ways to learn. We wake up each day and see new things, so learning is all around us.
In 2016, a friend of mine suggested that I come and invest in Bitcoin; I was shocked, and I told him that I would not. I thought it was all a scam, and I don't like online stuff because I don't believe in it, so I told my friend, "Okay, since you said it's not a scam, teach me about bitcoin." I did some folder research on it and discovered that it is true. My friend introduced me to bitcoin. I began learning how to trade it, and from there I began investing in Bitcoin. My investment gradually grew in my favor, and I began to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I was so surprised when my people transferred the thought I had for my friend before I joined to me. I started spreading the word about bitcoin, and while not everyone believes in it, it has made me less suspicious. Even now, most people believe it is a scam. I noticed that some of us here are raising awareness. No, charity starts at home.

Good thing if all the people we come to talk about bitcoin will always have the same mindset as you, but in reality only 1 out of 10 will be able to do that. Most of the people are close pd minder about crypto and they always think it’s a big scam and against the government regulations. The reason why I never care letting some people aware about crypto, I’ll just wait to learn it from their own will.

At first I was telling those people who are close to me about Bitcoin or crypto then some of them got into it,
But now I just put on crypto in my social media profile and some of the people that would add me would ask me about it.
Even my new coworkers ask me about crypto and how it works or how to earn from it.

Now almost all the people know about the bitcoin and few trusted crypto currency.Educating the people towards the new technology is the important character and attitude of the government.So the government of many countries recruited people with good knowledge about the crypto currency to fulfill the idea of crypto currency.Their Will good and bad of technology.So the government should allow such people to clear doubts of people

I’ve recently been involved in a lot of peer to peer teaching. Word of mouth has been my tool.

I actually hope you do have quite a lot of knowledge about what you are teaching, it isn't easy to "teach" people about Bitcoin, at least not as easy as some people make it seem, it is almost impossible to give out knowledge that you the 'giver' do not possess in sufficient quantity, i guess that could be the reason why a lot of Bitcoin newcomers think the network is a get rich scheme, their teachers/people who talked to them about the network prolly told them that, or didn't quite tell them what the network is actually for.

Having said that, i for one have not raised any Bitcoin awareness in my community, i consider it too big a risk for me to undertake, for obvious reasons. I might have talked to very few friends about Bitcoin, but not at the level of it being called "teaching", i can't teach, so my friends appreciate it better that i can basically just provide them with quality materials so they could do their own research, and it worked/is working this way.

While others may have the mission to spread the awareness of BTC to their community, I do think that such responsibility does not fall within my hands as I am not the person best to explain what BTC is. I actually tried raising the awareness of BTC during my college days where I integrate BTC to my presentations. I had this speech class where we had to present a topic impromptu. I chose BTC and explained it to my class in chances of at least informing them about it.

Though that may be the case, there are certain people who are really called for this kind of mission. Lots of noble users have posted their journey in spreading the awareness of BTC and I do think that they are in the best position to do such.

At first, that was really my thinking that other people should never know that I’m into bitcoin, and I should always keep bitcoin as a secret. Until I realized that other people deserve to know so that they will also learn and gain profits from bitcoin, and then I start sharing it to some of my friends and relatives. Unfortunately, they were completely not convinced so I realized there’s no reason to spread awareness on that as they will always think that bitcoin is scam and same like others, it will end up vanishing like thin air. Right then, I never do anything that would convince others to trust bitcoin.

Have let my family members to understand what bitcoin his and to make them know how bitcoin is better than the fiat currency.  I made them to know bitcoin is the best investment in cryptocurrency.  I so made them to understand cryptocurrency don't make one to be rich if you only depend in bitcoin with no any other source of income.

At least for now, I'm only spreading the word to my family. It's better to trust them than my friends and other people in our neighborhood. I'm telling them the basics about investing in bitcoin as well as how it's used as a payment.
I think that I'm doing a good thing on that part when you're almost paranoid because people are having hard time these days and could do something to you physically to attack you just like what I've read on the news when they've known someone who holds bitcoins.

Yes.  You are not the only one left out my friend, because one thing certain is that many persons till date still believe that Bitcoin is a scam, due to either they may had fallen into one bitcoin scam or the other,  or acting out of ignorance, (i.e judging by what they may have heard people say in the past), which at times may not always be right. But the truth of the matter is that there are lots of scam Bitcoin investment online who offers a reward way too good to be true, such as investing $100 to get $1000 in 24hrs and targeting newbies who may likely fall into such scam. Which is why as a person who is new into Bitcoin, I will advise you to first learn to understand how Bitcoin works before investing in it.

Not too many if speaking frankly but have told my friends and colleagues about it and we also have some open discussions about it whenever we get time.There were some efforts in the past to tell people about bitcoin in my locality at a very small level like saying 10-15 people but they showed little to no interest in it and after that don't get time for these sessions and now only those who around me have knowledge and interest about it have these discussions.

I have applied to upwork jobs that are related to crypto and I introduce them to bitcointalk forum where to promote their project. They were surprised to see a busy forum where their competitors are. I guess I spread the word about this community full of contributors, unlike the forex community which is full of takers. Though I didn't get the job position, I already saw one thread they've created.

It's important to find a balance between raising awareness and not putting a target on your back by saying 'look at me, I have so many bitcoins, you should to'. I don't advertise myself as being pro-Bitcoin to the general public. I don't need that kind of attention. I speak with friends and family about it, and there have been situations where I have gifted bitcoin to close friends for birthdays and special occasions and in that way tried to incentivize them to learn what it is and how to use it.

I don't feel comfortable advising someone to invest in bitcoin. It's their money and their choice. Wrong investment advice could deteriorate relationships. Instead of spending your hard-earned money to purchase BTC, I often talk about finding ways to work for it. Doing some gigs and freelance work for those who have the time and skills. That way if it goes sideways, you only lose the time you put in, but not your own money.

I have a community and only a few friends and we often meet and hang out together when we have free time and always talk about bitcoin or crypto although not always completely, but it really helps because we share ideas and give each other input even though the decision is in our own hands , but it's fun because we're in the same place and I'm also involved because of them.
and after a few years my friends and I tried to tell some of our family members and try to believe because the real evidence of our finances is very good and also reliable when they need it and it makes some of our family members interested and involved until now.
I don't think it's necessary to raise awareness for those who don't understand at all and also don't care because in the end they will regret it when they find out for themselves, and the best way of initiative in my opinion apart from friends is family members because they can also be useful for the family, and also close friends when we get together.

I myself personally have done a lot in teaching people. Not just people I have also taught my family members down to school friends then. I have been practicalistic not just theoritical. I have took part in many little gathering of Bitcoin class enlightenment. I took part in seminar and conference talking about Bitcoin. I have made reference for people to hook up programs, seminar, YouTube channels very educating and self explanatory to newbies coming onboard the blockchain industry. Most times when I unveil newbies, I do it practical for them to see how it works. I open wallet, I show them what it looks like and how it looks like, I do transfer from one wallet to another, I show them transaction harsh as the recorded ledger on the chain for them to know how it works. I do and try my possible best to making sure they understand how blockchain and Bitcoin works. I go as far as telling them about exchange being a third party and how they operate. I give them instances and also do a practical trading for them to see so as to know how to buy and sell, do withdrawal to their private wallet likewise transferring from their private wallet to exchange wallet too.

In as much I do get them onboard the Bitcoin and blockchain platform I do my best to teach them all they need to know about how it works but I do not give them investment advise as I am not an economist neither am I a financial expert  to do so. I have witnessed a situation where a newbie that was onboard the system accused the person who brought him onboard of giving him wrong financial and investment advise which led to his loss.

Cryptocurrency has been stigmatised by many persons in our world to be something that is for the rich. People seem to associate the price of 1 bitcoin to be at least a part of a cryptocurrency investors portfolio and the could mean trouble. In an instant, they see you to be this very rich guy and the next you know, your a target of criminals and as that, one needs to be very careful on who they open up unto.

I have played my role which revolves about speaking up where need be and introducing sine friends, even a brother to the forum and they continue to be doing well up to this date. It might be little but it's growth and that's significant  as they too would preach the word to those they choose to.

For now, I'm more private about bitcoin, because I already know the thoughts of people around me about bitcoin/crypto, because many people think that crypto/bitcoin is illegal, even though bitcoin is not illegal.
where I live, it is very difficult to introduce new understandings, especially regarding investment.
because as far as I know the people around me often even the majority invest in land or farming land.
so I don't really have any intention of teaching them about bitcoin/crypto, let them find out for themselves.
