OP, no one knows what will happen in the future because if i do i will hold a lot of ETH in my custody waiting for that day. We are only but speculators here. In my opinion i still believe that ETH is a top coin and there is a tendency it will be profitable, not because it has been stopped form mining then that means it wont be used for its purposes anymore.

This is still a big question in my mind, will ethereum return to ATH, because currently the price of ethereum is falling and with the release of ethereum PoW it might affect the price of ethereum in the future. ethereum holders should be more careful.

No doubt it will. Hopefully this year or next year. The release of the Ethereum PoW wont affect the price of Ethereum buddy. You are once scared of what will happen as an investor i understand. The same way we look at things are the negative side we should also try to look at the brighter side. The positive effect of the PoW on Ethereum.

Bitcoin crossed $70k today after being in a correction for the past few days. Almost all top-tier altcoins have started to pump, with Ethereum being no exception. Ethereum went above $4k when Bitcoin hit its all-time high this month. Although ETF news can have some impact on ETH price. That is true but if you buy it when the network was congested this days, I don't think it will be profitable for you the person now because the amount you would got from the purchase when the transaction fee is high would be small and if you are buying small amount even big amount too. So investing in it now is not really encouraging until the price goes down. And as you said, foe those who have been holding it from the onset are the only persons that makes good profit from the market and not those who invested this year. I invested in it last week but I regret because the amount I got foe the investment or purchasing time was disappointed.

but Mining Ethereum? that is always the question since mining needs a generous amount of electricity this is the reason why many miners stops operation and decided to just buy  ETH to keep holding.

Well we can buy 1 Eth now for $3600 but I do think this is a low price for the token. The all time high for the token is $4,878, I think we will see this number soon.
We have the Bitcoin halving happening in now ust 25 days. If you do think we are going to see more of a 'bull run' in this time well then we can think same for Ethereum.

I definitely agree with this statement ethereum is among the most reliable coin that haven't even reached its all time high the opportunity is still so wide with this coin, sure on the way of the last massive rally there will be some dipping and thats to be expected but anyone should know that ethereum is among the most reliable investment as of right now even the fact that there are so many etheruem being locked for the sake of L2 and its ecosystem speaks volume.
its quite different if compared with other high all time high coin that is high in market cap but having rather lacking in the ecosystem that there's no one using their ecosystem for real thing other than farming dapps.
the only hurdle that ethereum is having most certainly just the fact that there are gas fee problem that needs to be resolved which kinda choking the people inside their ecosystem even dencun upgrade won't do much since most of the time gas increase due to massive sudden flood of transactions.

Smart contracts is something that a really revolutionary thing that has been created and this is something a thing that cant be possibly be easily be beaten up by any project on which it would really be that hard to believe but well everything could be possible.. If you do believe on ETH and tend to hold for long term then it would really be on someones choice, also we cant really deny that when it comes to whales then there are tons of whales on ETH and so as with other projects. Everything would really be just that depending on the community demand and recognition because this is where a certain project would really be able to have it success is on the
time that they do really get that recognition and support by the public. Yes, this is something that cant be known or something that cant be predicted but of course ETH has been sitting on #2 for long
which does really prove out on how good project it is.

Predicting the market rightly is difficult and not all investors can predict rightly but what I don't get is doubting if ethereum can sustain but luckily ethereum has proven the op wrong. I wished op invested at that time till date op would have made more profit compared to investors buying now with the problem of high transaction fee. From my opinion ethereum is totally different from other random coins and it's good for investing

We know that Ethereum is second only to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been the biggest gainer this season and has hit all-time highs in the market, but Ethereum hasn't seen much price growth in comparison. 2021 saw Ethereum reach $4800+ when Bitcoin reached $69k. In comparison, Ethereum has not seen a price increase this season. But I guess since the Ethereum ETF is stuck in the case the price may not rise much. If the Ethereum ETF is approved in May I think the price will go up  Since the Ethereum ETF was supposed to be approved in May we will have to wait until that May and see how the position develops. But I think prices will definitely go up and stay at all time highs.

it is definitely good there's no shortage of project try to use it its solid investment in my opinion and so far has been performing well when it comes to investing into bitcoin and ethereum i don't know why i never feel hesitant its unlike the other coin that fluctuates a lot that doesn't give a peace of mind, quite the opposite bitcoin and ethereum is giving the peace of mind for investment as long as we bought at the very bottom we almost know that our money aren't going anywhere instead it will multiplies.
seriously people who are hesitating to invest shouldn't hesitant since its a good thing to invest into a coin that has been proven to be always giving profit to its holder.
consequently though those that buy too late will definitely suffer when the price suddenly dump as always, they're the ones that get fomo'd, always invest early.

It's unfortunate but true that the trading fees are also very high sometimes in centralized exchanges. I tried buying small amounts of ETH and SOL to make a quick trade and get my funds back shortly but even when both went up and my amount got in profit, I got the same amount that I had invested earlier which means that all the profit that I earned on that trade went for the trading fees.

However, that's only for small and short-term trades. For long-term trades, ETH is still the best among all altcoins and it has only started going up right now and hasn't crossed its previous all-time high. So if someone has funds and wants to invest, they should consider ETH.

I think OP is not completely wrong mate because the concern stands about the potential of ethereum and indeed that this has future and we have proven that  for how many years now , imagine that for how long that ETH proven its capacity so why are we doubting this?
