It is exactly today that no more tolerance can be expected from the favorites or if they are not able to win tonight it means that they are not the favorites that we thought they are and their form is not great,I am talking exactly about Argentina right now,if they don't manage to win tonight against Mexico then they will go home without passing the group stage.

England could afford to not go all in as Wales is the weakest team of the group and England surely can win the last game and be first of the group,the same can be said about Netherlands which will face Qatar in the last game of the group and most probably will be the first team there.

Tunisia, although it was a favorite quite a bit, but could not even achieve a draw. Another wrong prediction for me. I think the rest of the teams should play today without surprises.
I agree about the Netherlands, it will be a cakewalk for them as Qatar is already completely demoralized in addition to being a generally weak team. But I don't agree about England - although Wales are weak in terms of results, in a single match they can cause trouble for anyone and I don't think that England's victory is obvious or will be easy.

Good game for Saudi Arabia that undoubtedly deserved the draw, even their game was enough to win the game.

2x0  is wrong appreciation that surely reflect a result that does not occur with the reality of the good game of KSA.

Finally got my first exact score of the whole tournament and it was the France game,strange though as I saw the first half and none of the teams had clear occasions for goals but apparently the second half was better as I was on the move and didn't watch it but I am happy for such result,this restored my lost confidence in this tournament as I kept asking myself how come in all these games I never got an exact score but now I am relaxed.

Let's see if Argentina will win tonight after 1 hour as they have it as paramount if they don't want to go home since the group stages,last time they were eliminated in group stages has been in 2002.

Nothing for me yet. When I go with team A team B wins or match draw, when I go with team B team A wins or another draw, and finally when I go with draw then either team A or team B wins. Fuck the pool LOL.

I went with Argentina so they are not winning in this evening. Either it will be a draw or Mexico is going to win 😂

last goal sent me down, had 1:1 on France, but Mbappe had to score one to get them win (not sure would I call it deserved or not)
second round is a mystery for me so far, almost no results getting right, except for Poland against Saudi Arabia (and they certainly did not deserved that)

So far is going your way as 0-0 and Argentina in the first half did not show any good attacking or anything to show its supremacy and if this game ends in a draw they sure are still in the game to qualify further if they win with more than 2 or 3 goals difference against Poland but that is going to be difficult for them.If they don't win tonight it shows that they were all hype and nothing real,it is a shame because Di Maria,Messi and Lautaro are the best attack in theory but this is not being shown in practice.

Szczesny was the main man for Poland in this game, that penalty save plus rebound save which was even better plus a couple of other great saves kept Saudi Arabia at bay. I guess it had to be that way, Saudi Arabia scored 2 goals against Argentina with xG of 0.18 and then score 0 goals against Poland when they had to score at least 2 goals.

Messi goal was brilliant today, Mexico was tripling up on him and never giving him an inch, often making fouls while he is far from and then first time he had a little space, he scores. Second goal was really beautiful, Fernandez revitalized Argentina attack after coming on so I expect him to get a place in starting 11 for the final game. He earned it fir sure.

The only problem this isnt the premier league pool this is the world cup,in premier league pool you have 38 rounds here you only have 3 group rounds and knockout faze and if you are not within 3-5 points before the group faze ends you are in deep trouble. I had 3-0 on Argentina and ended 2-0 and this is a bad result for me because everybody had their bets on Argentina to win.

Most likely, Argentina played safe in the first half against Mexico to avoid conceding a goal and for the second half they changed their tactics a little bit even if Messi's goal was somehow a surpsise, didn't see that coming but it's Messi, so we can even expect from him good tricks out of nowhere, especially when Mexico didn't attack him before scoring that goal, Messi had soo much space.
Still, it's also a clean sheet for Argentina and they are highly motivated again. We should also take into consideration Argentina's streak of 36 games without being defeated before.
Probably, the loss against Saudi Arabia was a necessary wake up call for them to take every competitor serious.

It looks like they are lacking real motivation,the goals were two individual skills from their players with Messi scoring a wonderful goal as the opener,I also think that Mexico had nothing to show so Argentina took it easy as I saw the game completely and Mexico did not hit once the goal except a free kick which was saved by Argentina goalkeeper,except that Mexico was a non existent team so this might be the reason Argentina did sweat it that much the win.

Personally I got an exact score in this game and made the best points during this second round I only had 1 points now have 7.5 points only because of the games of yesterday,this shows that things can change around pretty dramatically in the standings in the pool.

Just saw pool has everyone back Japan and only 4 draws. Didn't even look at odds but guess Japan were huge favourites?

Was having dinner and trying to not be impolite to see a tv screen in a corner, but missed both goals. Definitely did see all the times they targeted him in first half, so for sure even managing to get space and score like that, GOAT material. Still feel if they didn't start with the penalty in first game, would have comfortably won. This team doesn't like to win easy.

Saw that I went 4-2 and not sure what was going through my mind at the time, knowing Mexico would play attrition, but it was a rushed Round 2 pick for me just entering everything on gut. Suppose getting all correct is still better than trying to be smart and play for the draws that threatened to derail MD2.

This is not the result I was expecting to see from Japan after seeing the beating their opponents were given last time out. To be honest, I think this whole thing of favorite of the game is mearnt to brain wash us and induce us to pick the wrong teams, or is it karma for Japan after that upset over Germany and its been served back at them

Costa Rica is a sure thing that will not have a win next round as they are facing Germany and the fact that Germany was caught in a surprise by Japan in the last minutes of the game does not mean anything,now in tonight game Germany even with a draw will have high hopes to go through as Japan I doubt will get a good result against Spain so this group is a bit complex to predict but most likely Spain and Germany will go further.

Belgium I highly doubt would draw or lose against Morocco,we saw they are in the same performance as Tunisia so they are going to lose against Belgium.

Germany are in deep trouble yeah. I’m not sure of the exact ramifications if they fail to win today but I know 100% that if they lose to Spain they are out.
