It's very interesting that people make assumptions without asking or having any interest in a discussion.

OP, normally for loan requests, you need to provide a valid liquid collateral, such as an altcoin.

Due to the number of scams, lenders here won't simply grant one to any Tom, Dick and Harry without some sort of assurance.

There is no presumption of flaunting here, because you expect someone to say "I do" which means he/she's flaunting a BTC0.5 if you uses such way of thinking.

Perhaps, since you don't want to flaunt what you have, then consider checking out the different lenders threads in this board. You will be able to see what they offer, the kind of collateral they need and other terms and conditions. There you get to choose what you like.
