I do believe the same thing as well, by the looks of it there is a chance that bitcoin could have a great December, and wouldn't be the first one neither, for a while we haven't had any good Decembers, last I remember was the famous 2017 one and I hope to have another one like that this year. It would be awesome to see it go from 17k at the start and by the start of next year on 1st of January it is suddenly like 45k or something.

It is not impossible for it to happen, there is a good chance that it could very much happen and that is why we should be focusing on anything better in the long run. The great thing about right now is that 17k is a good "start", so it could be so much more.

But I think it's better to see that price as compare to lower $16k which kinda suck as we are in the $20k'ish prior to the whole collapse of FTX that brought bitcoin market with it. Nah, I think bitcoin will stay bearish for awhile, just like in the past, it stays bearish most of the time so the weak hands are tempted to sell their bitcoins. Once investors slowly lose hope, that's when the whales would try to manipulate the market and would do everything to hype a bull run.

If you made a long, you already made a good amount of profit OP. Anyways, I holding long-term and am still planning to add more in the next months until next year. The FTX effect was still big, bitcoin support at $18k was strong and it continued to hold for months until the FTX big news and it smashed bitcoin support. The effect of the bad news though won't last long since bitcoin technology is free from manipulations so it's only a matter of time before it will recover again just like the previous years.
