What are the motives that drive you to gamble?

If you see gambling as a means of making money you will keep losing because you will keep going back to try your luck, I like gambling too but I play with less money and enjoy the game, I never have the mind of playing to win but I play to only have some fun so my betting skills is always on the minimum amount.

I think your statement is still not quite right, because there are still many gamblers who really rely on gambling as a place where they can make a profit.
But not all gamblers can do it, only those who have more money and intelligence in gambling.
I myself have met poker gamblers several times who are indeed experts in the game of poker, even in almost every game he wins and the percentage loses only slightly.
If you gamble or bet just as a means of fun I salute you for still being able to limit the amount you bet and not get really crazy about gambling.

We have to understand this kind of decision whereby a gambler solely depends his living from earnings from gambling, such gamblers aren't new in gambling, they understand very well every possible mean they can source out money from with gambling, here they don't have to gambles even at all times, they may be employed under a gambling company to work for them and got paid, they may have one or two services or predictions they aid in other to make money, while some even went ahead advertising for them to get paid, as long as you make some earnings through gambling for a living isn't a bad decision provided you know all possible means to make a living from your decision.

I have also said before that not everyone can do their best. If you say that they are old people in gambling then I will justify it because it takes a long time to be able to learn and really be an expert in a gambling game.

If you have met such people who wins most of the times then they must either be really skilled or really lucky.
Most of the times people only lose money in gambling when they are playing against the house.
Talking about people gambling for fun then its the thril to win that drives them to gamble.
Playing with smaller amount decreases the amount of loss while giving similar thrill of gambling.

Gambling for fun is cool, I do it often, but it might not be proper when totally condemning it for money making. It's about the preparedness of the gamblers and the aspect of gambling he/she channels their effort towards. I know some people that gamble for a living, especially in the aspect of sportsbooks. In the morning you would think they are going to a serious office when they dress corporately, but they would be at a gambling house and close there at night.

These people are living fine on this, so it depends on the angle you view it, all are important.

Generally I am not that kind of hardcore or addicted on gambling. But it's not that I don't gamble at all, I occasionally gamble on various tournaments, leagues, and games of favorite teams etc.
I actually prefer gambling on sports As such, to answer your question, I have to say that different types of sports games or tournaments attract me to gamble.

I do not know about you guys, but I gamble because I like it and because it is a hobby as well as an addiction. I'm good with myself, as I already admitted to having an addiction but tried to find and apply techniques to avoid getting off track and spending all of my money on gambling. It's quite easy for me to control my gambling anxiety as I already follow strict rules that help me stay on the line.

I guess the primary motivator that drives me to gamble is the hope of winning the prize money at the end. In addition to this, the adrenaline and fear that I might win/lose my money at the end is also one of those feelings that I want to feel.

You could say, at least, that I am somehow addicted to this feeling but without the prize money at the end, I doubt that I would long for this feeling. Gambling has always been part of my hobby due to its simplicity, convenience, and accessibility as a whole. Though I do think that a factor on why I gamble frequently is due to my father as he would always invite me to watch him gamble.

It is indeed , if you look for winning then surely you'll keep chasing losses after you lose so your idea is correct better to play using less money meaning there must be allocated funds in every gambling session with this you'll lose lesser than what most gambler does.
though I think it is not literal word not minding playing to win because all of us does but we are accepting the fact that we mostly lose on those.

It is true, when I started betting and casinos I really like how lively it is, also because it is a different way to spend time, and my motivation was to increase my money, but I tried it many times and it was not 10 success Sometimes I tried to win only once, but it was very little because I already had little money. As far as i know gambling has been existing right from the creation of the man, no one can or may either eliminate gambling from the history of man. In fact Man himself is a gambler.

what you say is a real fact. Gambling has been around for a very long time. every person in life is very close to gambling. not only in the online world but now in the real world everyone is gambling a lot. we will never know how to get rid of it.
everyone has a different experience of how they can become a gambler. some came from friends, some were based on their curiosity about gambling. whoever has entered, it is quite difficult for us to get out of gambling. although some might work.

I m not even talking about leaving or quitting gambling, that remains that gambling has been there since from the origin of Man.

Winning ba bet motivates steady gambling whereas the mind set of creating a leisure time to have fun and make some money is what drives people to being a gambler at the first instance, everyone gambling today has this urge that has triggered there decision to be a gambler, some even just make a first attempt and since then turn to be a gambler for life, I've not seen someone been forced to gamble, the only barrier to gambling is when you're indisposed to gamble when you have no money or when you got ill in a bad condition.
