I have never before seen such obvious manipulation of the market. And not just general manipulation, large scale manipulation done by one individual or group. I don't know who or what is doing it, but there is clearly a purpose behind it. I think that right now the purpose is to put everything to the table in one desperate attempt to cause a small crash and get even more coins at cheap prices, before it's simply too late.
Remember how huge walls used to rise and disappear almost every day?  That kind of behavior was the rule, and the recent lack of such obvious manipulation is the exception.

But yeah, it's just an attempt to shake out weak hands.  I'm almost positive we'll be back over $7 later this week.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

i'm also surprised how good this tv episode was. +1 to your posting, too.
we should look out even more for related new blogposts, news mentions and if there is more activity in the newbie part of this forum. at least, it is a strong reminder to everyone who just forgot about bitcoin after hearing about it last year.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it 4:20 yet?

After seeing the depth shift while I was working..

I need a 420 break... shit brother!

I liquidated, loss of $1.24...  Sad

Could have been worse

Same here, I accidentally bought in just under 7.20, I was suppose to wait till after 7.20 to buy, expecting rally.

Sold off a nickel under. Lost a smidge, no big whoop.

Since we broke through $6 two weeks ago, we have been bouncing off of $7.20.  You will notice that most of these "bounces down" took us under $6.50... you will also notice that we haven't gone under $6.50 today.  We are consolidating closer and closer, the ask wall is a lot bigger now but I'm not scared... Still looking bullish to me.

Still over $6.50 ... barely

Im getting close to my first Zhoutonging... lol

EDIT: I think I got lucky and Zhou got some more reserves just above $6.50... or I made a good call... your decision Wink

EDIT2: Already showing * again lol

I think we are bottoming out here

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Meh... both of us are trying to use fear and greed to get them to trade in our favor.
