Transaction stuck from bitcoin wallet app because 2 low fee. Help

Hello,

I have a transaction that is stucked because of a to low fee.
It is pending and not confirmed. But target address is now locked because of this.

I see no way to increase the fee or cancel the pending transaction in bitcoin wallet app.

Can someone please help me with this? How can i get this payment go through so the other party can access their address again.

Which wallet are you using and how much did you pay in fees? (sat per byte). The mempool is not as congested as it use to be a few days ago but if you could post the TXID, that would help.

But i use Bitcoin wallet app.  As wallet.  (bitcoin . org)

I used economy so it is a terrible low fee, didnt know that.

The transaction is not RBF transaction, which means you can not pump the fee.

Read this: Bitcoin open source wallets that support replace-by-fee (RBF)

Use wallets that support RBF next time.

If you are the onwer of the receiving address, try this:
You can try and import the seed phrase on Electrum or Bluewallet to make use of CPFP. Once you import it, click on the unconfirmed transaction from the history tab, you should be able to see CPFP. But it requires higher fee.

You can only make Child Pay For Parent. [TUTORIAL]getting a low-fee transaction unstuck by creating a CPFP with electrum.

Before that, import your Private key from Bitcoin Core to Electrum wallet.

p2wpkh-p2pkh privatekey (if your address starts with 1)
p2wpkh-p2sh privatekey (if your address starts with 3)

Two wallets that I know from bitcoin.org have economic fee options Mycelium and Schildbach Bitcoin wallet.

Mycelium has RBF I guess so the wallet app you talking about is the Schildbach wallet.

So I think you sent BTC from your wallet to a website to pay for something(services or products)?
And then their payment gateway/page has expiration am I right?

If I'm right then you won't be able to make a CPFP because only the receiver can do that.

Do you mind telling us what website you sent the BTC to? You may need to contact the owner because they are the only ones who can do CPFP. So try to contact them and just tell them your current transaction issue and talk about for extra fee later if they ask.

but even so, the bumped fee is still too low, from 2 to 13 sat

Since OP didn't mention doing anything, I suppose this was the other guy doing it, so probably an automatic system, one can still hope that during the weekend the whole thing will get confirmed and they will not demand some extra $ for the exchange rate change between the payment days and the day it got confirmed.

If indeed it's a payment processor like Coingate, they will most likely return the amount minus fees immediately after it gets confirmed, this happened to me once because of the gap of 1 hour between blocks that screwed all the fees!
