So I decided to put some smiles on my face this season by buying Bitcoin as a Christmas gift for myself.
yesterday I and my friend/colleagues went to a shopping market for some Christmas shopping we were 6 in number and we all went to the market after receiving our Christmas bonuses from work.

My colleagues bought some fine shoes and other expensive items/ wears for themselves and every one of them was expecting me to do some picking myself because we all agreed to go on group shopping but on our way to the market I already have a rethink and a change of mind.

I decided to spend my money buying myself some Christmas gifts which is Bitcoin instead of buying some expensive clothes or shoes I decide to carry the digital BTC  in my wallet, instead of wearing shit that will soon get worn out.

That is a good idea because if you buy shoes and other expensive items, it will be damage one day and you will just not sell it and it will add no value, unlike bitcoin that will add value because the price is low now.

But as for me, I have money I invested and that I am still investing on bitcoin, that will not make me not to buy Christmas wears and other things that I needed for Christmas, but what I bought are not expensive.

This is a good gift that you have given to yourself. Buying bitcoin now is good because it will keep growing for you especially if you can be patient for the longtime. It is not everyone that will decide to do this to invest in bitcoin although shirt is not that of same value except you bought few fraction of bitcoin. That was a brilliant idea since bitcoin price is down, I would do the same since i can buy things some other time, and we can celebrate Christmas everyday if we want but, saving and investing sometimes needs timing and today is the best time, although you also need to buy yourself some gift, like what others say love yourself save or invest 60-70% of the money and use the remaining for other things food and other things, merry Christmas.

It looks so amazing because after a full year working for a place you can feel the bonus to buy Bitcoin and shop where you like. Christmas celebrations at the end of the year for you will be a very good moment, whatever is spent now can also be used to celebrate the new year, which will arrive soon.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your colleagues either, because they buy expensive shoes and clothes to celebrate Christmas and maybe to celebrate the new year too. And don't they know about Bitcoin ? If they don't know about buying Bitcoin by the end of the year, it's only natural that they only want to buy shoes and clothes and so have no interest in buying Bitcoin like you do.

Actually there is a better idea if the number of bonuses you receive is more. You can set aside at least the amount of bonus money you receive to buy clothes and shoes also for Christmas and for the new year. And the rest you can buy Bitcoin with the remaining amount, so you can get new shoes, new clothes and Bitcoin at the end of this year which will make your Christmas and New Year more enjoyable because you can buy three different things at the end of the year. Even though buying Bitcoins while still wearing old worn clothes won't be any worse for yourself either.

Congrats to you and a merry Christmas but the truth be told that most of us really worship Bitcoin and make it seems that people doing something else outside Bitcoin are wasting their time and that life without Bitcoin isn't life but I've seen people prosperii so well without a single knowledge of Bitcoin.
I guess we fail to understand that we're all making savings so as to be saved by our savings someday and that's the major concept behind investment and savings.

A wise decision by you because the expense on bitcoin would give you long term return and fun to buy those expensive shoes and other items your colleagues has bought when you will be in profitable situation.But this would be possible only if you are long term holder and have patience to hold it for next few years.I have also made a similar decision in past where I DCA investment in bitcoin rather then spending on junk food items and have accumulated some sats through it and still holding them so it will eventually pay off in future.

That's the part where I was not happy on comparison with gold as people don't understand they don't have nothing in common and this term is inappropriate.If they see gold is still in abundance and also centrally controlled in way by the government with almost no return in past ten years while bitcoin on the other hand has limited supply and completely decentralised with good returns in the long term period for the holder but if still we compare them both and equate them on same level we are wrong.Bitcoin is far superior then it in almost all aspects.

But I do not think that there is any problem with someone buying Christmas clothes. Some people buy bitcoin in order to have money to buy clothes. So, it is not a wrong  idea for them to buy clothes, buy cars etc.

Life is short, years of youth are even shorter, so it's important to enjoy it all why you can. The point of life is not hoarding Bitcoin or some other asset, but living life to its fullest. Besides, Bitcoin isn't a money printing machine. There's no guarantee that it will keep going up. Worst case scenario is you deny yourself things that can improve your life and then lose money on top of that.

To become rich you don't only need to invest and cut spendings, but also earn more money through work.
