They define rich differently with time and in 2025, many people think and share their thinking like you will no longer get rich with Bitcoin at this price and in future. I really can not absorb this thinking that is not true because in my opinion if you invest your money in Bitcoin, and get good profit, you get rich. It's about rich, profit means richer, and very good profit means you are getting richer a lot.

I hope people who think about Bitcoin like this won't ignore Bitcoin and invest in altcoins or meme tokens.

After about one year, checking a dashboard of Ocean mining pool, it has been growing up a lot from total hash rate, total participants and its Bitcoin found blocks. You can see their dashboard and its mining pool growth there.

Since March 2025, its mining pool total hashrate has grown up considerable and the pool finds new Bitcoin blocks nearly every day.

After about one year, checking a dashboard of Ocean mining pool, it has been growing up a lot from total hash rate, total participants and its Bitcoin found blocks. You can see their dashboard and its mining pool growth there.

They were one of the few who tried doing something against ordinals by censoring these types of transactions in their pool and regardless of that no longer being the case, I'm happy to witness its gradual growth.

Obviously, Bitcoin has been around for 16 years and since then, how many times has its price increased and how many times has it gone down and so far its price is at $94k, which is why its results are quite good and quite impressive. How many distinct block template producers exist?
We can’t know, but we know that six block template producers mine more than 95% of the blocks.

Are there pools with 40% of the hashrate today?
No, but it’s assumed that AntPool & friends controlled about 40% of the network hashrate in 2023 and throughout the first half of 2024. Foundry had about 35% in early 2025. Currently, AntPool & Foundry each have more than 30% of the hashrate.

How centralized is Bitcoin mining today?
According to the Mining Centralization Index, Bitcoin mining was most decentralized for a short period in May 2017. 2019 to 2022 was also a good period. Starting in 2023, Bitcoin mining has become more and more centralized, especially with large pools like Foundry and proxy pooling a la AntPool & friends.

Bitcoin network hashrate distributions are not big different than past years when there were times with a big Bitcoin mining pool and "friend" pools can have sum hashrate percent to over 40% or 51% but there has been never 51% attacks on Bitcoin blockchain. It has never happened as it certainly does not bring any benefit to any pools that do such 51% attack.
