It's normal that more people would bet on sports betting while watching their favorite team play. If their favorite team wins, it feels like we are also having fun like what their favorite team experienced and vice versa. Yes, I think we can call it normal here to have sports betting as our priority compare to casino games. Betting on sports implies that you use your analytical skills, and gambling in the casino, for the most part, only depends on luck. Most forum users are fairly sensible people, which is probably why they prefer sports betting. Well, somehow I cant agree with you. I like combat sports and ice hockey. For me, watching my favorite team play or my favorite fighter fights is already stressful. If I place a bet on an outcome, it will only increase level of my stress. Imagine your team looses a goal and your bet slowly starts to become loosing. And you are under such stress for minutes or hours. And compare it with single mouse click and next second you find out if you won or not. Perhaps I am more oriented on instant result.

For me, betting directly against friends is not advisable, on two occasions I was a witness of, this type of betting did not turn out well, yes, at the initially beginning, the goal was to have fun while watching the match, but at the end of the match, arguments and disagreement arose between those friends, and in the first occasion, this lead to a serious fight which turned bloody with two persons loosing their lives on the spot that day.

The other occasion lead to two long time friends(from their primary school days) becoming dare enemies of each other over night, all because according to outcome of the sports they betted on, Friend A was supposed to hand over his car key to Friend B, but he refused after the match ended claiming there was a foul in the game play, and for that, their betting is nullified, of course Friend B refused to accept this excuses, this was what lead to their disagreement and arguments, which later to this day, lead to the rift between the once upon a time, two really close friends.

Yes, I'd give some time off to rest until dinner time will come and while waiting on the specific game where I did some bets or wait for the game where I want to bet, live. Aside from waiting the games out, most people have some day jobs which kept them busy for the whole day and hindering them from betting in casinos.

But in general, I'd still choose sports betting over casinos because my spending habit in gambling are quite minimized as I'm only following some specific schedules on the games I'd like to bet with.

I do sports betting and online casino as well but as a sports lover, I would say that sports betting is my preferred. I would tell you that, It was not I put money and then wait for the game to be over, but this is also considered as support to the team we want to win without minding the money we gamble. Because for me, it was more than gambling.
