Lightning Network Question: Hash Power Fee

I received the following "Incoming Transaction" referring to a transfer of bitcoin to my blockchain wallet from another company through Electrum and Lightning Network.  This "Incoming Transaction" requests that I pay a minimum hash power on Reflection ID fee which they say will be refunded with the transfer.  I have deleted the wallet addresses in the message below.  Is this legitimate?

That's definitely an advance fee scam. There are no "hash power requirements" for addresses, and "reflection" is not a term used in this space when talking about transactions confirming. I've never heard it used in this context before, so it's likely just bullshit.

OP, this is the third time you have asked this and you have already got the answer. I feel you don't like hearing the truth.
There is no such thing at all and they are trying to scam you. Do not waste your money and avoid any get-rich-quick scheme.

Neither 'reflections', 'hash power requirements', nor 'reflection channels' are actual existing things. Just bogus terms.

I would now worry where you got this message; was is just an email or in your Electrum application? If it's the latter, you are running a compromised / fake wallet and I'd move my funds out of it as quickly as possible.

This "Incoming Transaction" was sent to my personal email.  It showed up with an official Blockchain.com logo on the document and came from an email address: transaction@encripyted-blockchain.com. I don't have an account with Electrum.  My account is with a different blockchain platform.


The email address showing up on this "Incoming Transaction" is transaction@encrypted-blockchain.com.  The bitcoin was being sent by Crypto Fund AG in Zug Switzerland.

It doesn't matter where it is from or how many "official" logos it has (did you know you can right click and save a picture and use it in your own emails and websites?) - it is still a scam.

Thanks. So, 'Electrum accounts' aren't a thing, either. This is 1000% confirmed to just be a scam email; report it as spam and kill it with fire. Do not click any links and if you have, check that your machine is still fine.

Little addition: it is pretty easy to spoof your sender email. Even if it came from encrypted-blockchain [dot] com, that is some random domain someone registered which has nothing to do with blockchain.com. Lastly, blockchain.com has nothing to do with Electrum, anyway.

PSA: No legitimate (Lightning or not) wallet application notifies you about incoming transactions via Email.
