If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100

I experienced being lucky and unfortunate last year. Lots of winnings I made so far in 2022.

Since the topic can't be literally responded to with an accurate answer, I measure my luck from over 80%. The same goes for my winnings but I will increase it from 85% because not all the time do I purely rely on my luck.

Plan for 2023? I don't need any plan and that's not me. I will just go with the flow on my usual.

I have to say around 60% from playing casino games and 40% from sports betting. I was able to get my Stake progress for around 40% to the Bronze level and I'm not that even a regular gambler and only wagering small amounts.

It means my bankroll is increasing thru several winnings.

Hope to keep up with that this year 2023.

It's a Simple question -
Let's all assume that luck could be measured in percentage, I want us all to rate our luck in gambling for the year 2022,
From 0 to 100, rate how lucky you were in gambling last year.

Mine is certainly less than 10%.
I never bet with the intention of making money, my bets were always more for fun.
Sports games even gave me good earnings in 2022, but I always spent the surplus on riskier games of chance.
Not with the intention of trying to multiply the earnings quickly, but because I needed games with more action and entertainment to quickly spend what I had won.

Fortunately, I've always set and managed to meet a monthly betting spending target and so far I'm managing to achieve that. So, when I win something, I find a way to quickly make that value "disappear".

Hopefully by 2023 I'll end up making more and more money as I try to get rid of it

60 percent, I think. Some may think it's high but it's not. In sports gambling, there's always a way to increase the chance to win so 4 mistakes out of 10 bets is a lot because if you know your sport that should be in the lower number. But I still felt my profits so yes I am above 50% luck this year.

Plans? Same way, keep on analyzing the game at best as I could.
Maybe some improvement only this year. Lessen the laziness at reading the analysis of different people. Track every possible result and consider it because there are times I am emotional and will just take the bet as a fan, that's not right when you are gambling.

I don't know how to measure it, but I'll just share what happened to me when I gambled last year.

I tried to deposit into a gambling website only 3 times the whole year (not that much money was deposited as well). With those 3 times that I gambled, I tripled my initial capital and then withdraw the profit that I got and then I let the initial capital gamble until I lose it. In the end, I got my initial capital doubled and I always stop whenever I lose my money.

Hmmmmmm, maybe at around 80-90%. That's my luck percentage. I only bet on sports and your knowledge in that particular sport increase your chance of winning and that helped me.

My gambling plans for this year 2023...
I currently do not have any plans yet for this year as I've not really settled into the year, have a few debts from last year I am still trying to settle before I think of gambling again..

Debt must be paid first whatever happens. If it means stopping gambling then by all means, stop. I'm the kind of guy who doesn't like debt unless the money will be going for a good thing like investing it into different assets.

As for me this year, I might increase the times that I will deposit into gambling websites and gamble to at least once a month. What happened to me last year increases my self-confidence when it comes to gambling.

Around 40-45 I guess? I was pretty satisfied with my year but afaik I'm generally in the down most of the time with no big wins really, my sessions often end up just being empty or leaving it at the same amount. I rarely played though, maybe a bit more when the ALGS was live. Was pretty unlucky since some of my decisions were made in a whim so you can really see how my losses are pretty justified.

As for this year, I'll probably go light on it for now. Been job hunting after getting dropped off so I can't exactly splurge with how unclear my current state is right now. Well light sessions may still happen but probably a few times only this year depending on my situation.

But then as I began to understand the games better, my winning started to increase.

Would probably say around 40% this year I've been more interested in parlay bets on the Basketball and Esports games and 30-40% of the time my parlay with a minimum odds of 3.5 is winning so I give my overall percentage luck in gambling a 40% I was hoping that this year I would at least make it above 40% but luck is luck, there's nothing you can do to change it or affect your luck.

Very hypothetical question, but I would say around 15% - 20% of luck is on my side in 2022. So still so so performance for me, sports betting or casino games as well. Just like in the last couple of days, I have streak of bad luck so I'm on a negative this early this year.

Hopefully though I can bounce back with a big win and again, lady luck should be in my side to be able to bounce back from my early loses.

Still a long way to go for the whole year so I'm optimistic that I can still won some.

I think given the fact that you didn't gamble much and didn't win a lot either, 5% for luck is a little too generous for me. Although you do you really.

As for me, I played and gambled quite a lot this year, studied working gambling patterns and strategies to maximize winnings, and ensured that I incorporate a discipline whenever I play. If I were to interpret this into percentages, I think I'd hit a solid 40-50% luck rate because my gambling funds remained relatively the same despite the amount of games I have played,

Gambling is not an everyday thing for me so I will say 5% because I only use what I can afford to lose and I don't let gambling take over my mind, I take it as a fun game and I use a very little amount of money or assets like Dogecoin and LTC.

Some time ago I got too attached to gambling and I noticed that when I win a lot I always end up losing it to gambling again, since then I knew that gambling isn't really for me, instead I see it as a game 🎱  .

How can I calculate it, is it based on our result of every gambling session or based on overall statistic during the year. If it is based on every gambling session, maybe I have to say that my luck is around 20-30% with a simple math I made profit in 3 out of my 10 gambling sessions. But in overall statistic, I would say my luck is between 50-60% since I made small profit during 2022 although I did not gamble much.

If the measure is from the beginning of 2022 then I can't be sure what percentage is the right number to describe it because I've forgotten enough about the journey at the beginning of last year, but in December I can get pretty good luck, I can even say it's perfect because of the funds allocated to play in that month I can get very positive results and dare to say perfect for December 100%, but I don't know how to calculate it, I just think when we can withdraw several times the deposit value then that is great luck.
Don't have a strategy on how to play this year, just do what I'm sually do and try to be more active at one of the casinos to get more benefits from promotions at that casino.

I don't see much point in the abstractness of that question about the percentage. As if luck were something we could measure with a ruler or a tape measure and then apply a %.

If we can do something similar, I only see sense in comparing it to the Expected Value, because the difference in real results with respect to the Expected Value is what can help us establish a measure of luck.

According to this, in my case during 2022 and without keeping a record of all the results, I think I was in results above the Expected Value. However, quantifying it as a percentage does not make sense to me.

I wasn't lucky to something around 80% based on what I've lost. I was able to have good wager and increase my chances of reaching next VIP level. I was about to quit at several occasions as the losing continued. The run to recover the loss kept me pushing hard. Finally I was able to recover almost 80% of what I lost throughout the year. I thought of chasing to recover the remaining 20% and my inner mind said you may loss everything once again chasing the 20%

My gambling activities were much into casino games and particularly on Dice. 2021 was the worst year compared to 2022.

I always have bad luck with gambling, and last year was no different. I always like to play sports betting casino is not my thing, but this year I want to focus on casinos.
I will just test out my luck this year and will play casinos more regularly along with sports betting.

No you are not unlucky but you simply lack knowledge and experience on the sport that you are betting. If only the type of gambling that you play is casino then being unlucky is a valid term. Even though sports betting mainly relies in knowledge and experience, losing can still be inevitable sometimes but that was fine as long as your winning rates are still higher than 50 percent.

This ensures that you aren't only burning money but you are still gaining something. It's great that you will go out of your comfort zone and try something new but you shouldn't think that playing in casino can give you a better win than in sports betting but they are great only if you want to have fun.

I rate my luck in 2022 at under 10% (probably under 5%) because I'm not exactly sure how to calculate it. What is clear is that the losses I have experienced are still greater than the wins I have won. But that's okay because I'm not chasing winnings from gambling and just want to have fun gambling.

My gambling plan for 2023 is to continue playing gambling for fun as before and will not play gambling using larger amounts of money because that will not guarantee that I will be able to win a lot of money. I think gambling should be treated as entertainment and nothing more so that we don't experience huge losses.

Have you tried changing gambling platforms maybe the one you're using isn't favorable to you. I once had this issue and after I move over to my current gambling casino, I have been doing somehow great like I get the wins when I'm feeling lucky and some days things are just flat but I understand that's all part of the game.

In 2022 my winning percentage was 80% for sport betting, I won majority of the times I place a bet while other times football been football, teams that you'll think can easily defeat the other team lost and that cost me some loss. As for luck based games, I didn't take note of the wins since I knew that was just me been lucky and not my skills working.
