Is there anyone who enjoyed playing table soccer

Have you played a table soccer game before? And what was your experience so far while playing it?
Those of you from my country may not really have a good idea about table soccer, although it is not that a common game that you may found anywhere.

My first experience with table soccer was a thing of joy and somehow looking so strange to me because that was the first time I set my eyes on it. It was during my Industrial Training with TotalEnergies formally known as Total E&P at the Total village in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria, in 2017 where I served about 1 year and 6 months as an intern. I encountered this game and from then I have picked interest to start playing it. Surprisingly since my stayed over here I haven't seen anyone talk about this game. Hence, I don't know if they have already raised a topic like this. Also, is there any possibility a casino would list the game in their site and if they already listed, could anyone refer me to such site.

my only experience with this is playing it in arcade shops, they used to be available when I was young. I remember being frustrated because I kept losing my sister and she kept mocking me because I suck at the game, other than that I have no other experience with this game. pretty sure a lot of people have used this game to gamble with each other.

I used to play it a lot at college, I was never that good though. Some people can control all of the handles at once which is really tough.

We used to play in teams of two, it’s a lot easier to do it that way.

I have played it just a few times in sports bars, but I still prefer playing the real game on the field.

 Table soccer is just an alternative for those who love football but maybe cannot play at that moment or do not play at all due to some reasons, it gives the feeling of controlling a football team, just like the same feeling you get playing football on video games consoles.

I haven't tried playing it yet, but I see it in amusement places or arcades when I go to the mall.
I don't even know how to use it hehe...

But a friend of mine has it in their house and it's just on display but not used for playing. Maybe the others who play it use it for betting as a hobby or just for sports.

I often see this game at lodging places but I don't think about playing it because I don't think it looks interesting for me to play, besides that I've also seen this game on television and people play this game even though I understand a little how to play it, namely by use hand skills to play it

I've played it in the past, but I never won it. Maybe I can't play them right because my cousins easily beat the others. Sometimes when the cousins come to our grandfather's house, they take turns playing it, and you know, sometimes we also place bets

It was an old game I had played before, and even though I don't have good memories of playing it, sometimes I miss playing it.

I used to play this game maybe ten years ago. I don’t see them around anymore somehow. They are probably not that popular nowadays.

It is a fun game and you actually need to have some skills to beat your opponent unless he is a complete moron. However, I never got addicted to that game. It is fun but not addictive at all.

I was interested in Ping/pong a lot more. No need to mention, pingpong is a way harder game. It is more fun too and I was definitely addicted to it.

Probably during my highschool days where my friends are playing this on the arcade and of course had some bet as well. This is not an easy game, but its entertaining especially if you are playing with your friends. Usually in my place, you’ll see this game table on most of the private resorts where everything is there and all you have to do is to have fun and enjoy the rest of the stay.

My experience playing table football is very long and I only encountered this game at one of the youth game venues in my area, even then when I was a teenager and didn't know what gambling was called.
It seems that it would be very impossible for a casino to release a table football game as a gambling or betting game.
The reason is that this game is played by 2 parties and it will be very difficult for the casino to manage the game and there will not be many gamblers who are interested in the game.

They are often in the pub that we visit anywhere but happy teen life when mostly drunk already I play this game. I didn't even see this suppose to be a soccer game.    Much like an arcade to me. Does anyone gamble among friends with this game? I saw my college schoolmate fight over a game, never took it seriously but they end up not being friends anymore after the fight.

I don't see this going to be anything like a casino game. But someone must have it in mind to develop it as software.

I have never tried playing it, maybe because it is rarely played in my location. I feel it is a difficult game to play because one have to be able to control these players using the hands. I feel it would take much practice to master this game. I still prefer the field football games because this table version looks like table tennis. But seeing many person play the game with excitement and even gambling with this game. I wonder how they are able to adapt to this skills in this game. A little dedication can make the game enjoyable.

I enjoyed this game but it won't work with a loner.  
What can I say, it's a team play, a two-man team and two opponents are the minimum and can never be played alone.
It's a good old-school game but that's all there is to it. It will never be in an online gambling space because literally, the bets are only against those who are playing it physically.
It's not like they can create a bot that will go against you or a pair against the system. Waiting for another player online to be your teammate will be crucial as it may take some time.

I have never played it.  But I saw many of my students playing in my college.  But I haven't tried this yet. I don't find much joy in the game so I wasn't motivated to play it but seeing it posted on this forum today is making me a bit more interested in playing it. I'll play it next time if I get a chance

I think they're called foosball, and on all companies that I've joined, they have this gaming room that has this exact table.

The reason why no one is discussing about this is because there isn't really much of an interest in this at all, but there are huge tournaments all over the world regarding foosball. IIRC, Nitrogensports.eu offered some lines for the World Foosball Championship or whatever it's called back then. The lines and the odds are pretty funky because the favorites are just the same people every year and the outcome of the tournament is very predictable.

Like pool, I think game providers can create this game for PvP gambling. But of course, the viability of creating such a game should still be considered and whether or not there is huge interest on it.

I have seen this game mostly in movies but never set my eyes on it before. I just imagine how those sticks rods are being controlled by one person very fast with players and aiming towards a goal without getting tired easily. I wish to have an experience of it in the coming years.

Where I stay people don’t greatly value entertainment sports like this, but recent developments have brought indoor sports Center where one can easily have a good leisure time with friends and family, looking forward to try it soon. Hope it will be as nice to play as I see people in movies have great time playing it with smiles of their faces.

I don’t know if such game is even considered in worldwide Olympic indoor games, if it is, then it’ll have great use and adoption by people all around the world like other indoor sport games.

I've only heard of this game and seen it in television and it looks really interesting and I hope someday i would get to try it out.
The game is very uncommon in most places and it seems I know of that locations you mention @OP and I've heard of how people go in there to gamble but I learnt if recent that it has been banned for usage for people who aren't workers over there.
I was thinking of starting a game room where people would possibly hangout and have some cool time while playing some nice and good board games and a pes room for the pes lovers.

I don't know any gambling site that offers this. also, if they offer this kind of game, it would be digital and the gameplay could be very different from the physical one, and if there is an online gambling casino that offers this kind of game digitally, it would most likely be a PvP(Person vs. Person)

Yes I enjoy playing table soccer – ‘foosball’ is one of my favorite games to play if I am at a bar or a restaurant. Knowing that you can play with children for those that do. This can be an added activity to their daily routines.

What I enjoy the most is playing with my friends, enjoying a cold brewski with peanuts. We gather around in groups, have a friendly competition as to which team loses the next round.

Having your friends around you, keeping scores or that one ref that makes sure that no one is spinning the rods as we all know that is cheating. Then there is that feeling when fingers go numb from spinning the rods to get to the goal. The ‘goal’ that we scream out loud GOOOOAAAAL for is nothing more than pleasurable.
