Take a look at every platform that has tokenized themselves. To my knowledge all the tokens end up basically worthless so I wouldn't add any toke s to my portfolio.

not all gambling tokens I think are worthless, gambling tokens like BFG, coinpoker and FUN have quite a good value. but don't have high expectation for the increase in the price of gambling tokens because gamblers prefer to play with bitcoin, bnb or dogecoin

I don't know about you, it should be your preference whether you want to add casino tokens or not. It's your portfolio and you shouldn't be looking for reasons from other people if it should be in your stack.

What drives their value?

Their market is what drives the value, so if there's a lot of usage from its respective casino then the volume will be much higher.

Do they appreciate in value just like other altcoins whenever we are in a bull market?

There's no guarantee, it's a maybe.

I don't have an interest on any of them as of the moment so, if I'm on your shoe then I'll allocate that to bitcoin.

One reason i find most important is that holding a gambling token like FUN token opens your FreeBitco account to some premium bonuses and treatment, though you have to hold or stake nothing less than 2,500 FUN on their casino.

And for the second question, Yes, almost every altcoin appreciate in their prices when ever a major bull run hits, this is why the bull season is the worst time to choose an altcoin to invest in as their prices all go up, even the ones that have no usecase at all.

• Well, it will be subjective on every individuals since we all have different preferences but I think gambling tokens aren't likely my type to hodl especially right now in this market. Maybe when it's bullish again. They will appreciate value but as I've said likely in the bull market.

With all of those projects and types that you've mentioned, you haven't mentioned owning bitcoin and Ethereum. And that's why if you are ever interested in gambling tokens, there are some from reputable casinos but that doesn't guarantee success for their tokens.
There could be little value and volume from it but it's still going to differ if it's about their tokenomics.

I think you can find some interesting hint for your strategy but after I have seen some big collapse like "betking" I would don't invest in token like this but only buying "the classic" bitcoin

Gambling token for long term? Never had a proof that it take much longer or as for long term investment. I knew a gambling/casino who build their token yet after a year or two this bring them down or the other way around, many issues appeared, etc.
I'm not saying that every casino who build their own token is subject for their downfall or so, it's just that its my less priority or not at all when talking of holding coin for investment.

There are several many of them like you said initially, but for me, if i was in your shoes, i would only choose three, and those three are -

I also have these three, they are in the market already the two of them already launched signature campaigns and they all have good platforms that can boost their credibility, so far there are casinos with tokens that launched in the past but did not reach the success level of these three tokens, you need to understand that like all the other coins/tokens these tokens can go up and also could go down, so better ask yourself if these are the tokens worth investing.
I'm still reeling from the price of Owltoken depreciation but confident that they will increase in value.

There is no reason to add gambling tokens to your portfolio @OP. You better focus on adding bitcoin to your portfolio. But this is just a suggestion, and the decision is yours.

For gambling tokens, I think you can try investing in BFG, FUN, and OWL because I see these three gambling tokens are the most known by traders and investors. But maybe you can take a look and do some research for other gambling tokens. But don't put a too big percentage into those tokens but put a big percentage into bitcoin.

Most of the gambling token's market prices either fall down after the release of the project or stabilize at a certain price point. Reason I guess is utility, supply and demand. It has a huge supply most of the time because it is being used on the gambling site itself, resulting to a low demand simply because gambling tokens are easily earned. Gambling tokens are a good investment before the project release but problem would be determining which is which. The thing that you would anticipate is the spike of its price depending on the potential of the project itself.

I think it depends on the gambling tokens. So, many gambling tokens are down, that would be because the gambling site that owns them are also not popular as the leading crypto gambling sites right now like stake, roobet, duelbits, ... but imagine if these gambling sites do also create their own tokens then I think its price will also pump, if not then it will still have a decent value and won't dumped that much but let us see if what will be the faith of other gambling tokens, maybe most of them are also dependent on the market situation and once bull run comes, they too can recover. The OP can try bagging some but mostly for those who are established casinos only.

FUN token ranks at first position, followed by CoinPoker CHP. They are not very popular in the market, considering their top 1 in at 271º position among all cryptos, but you have to read what features each of those tokens offer to holders. I'm familiar only with FUN and it has a rewarding staking program plus a premium program inside freebitco.in platform.

Staking those coins were the best option available. When it comes to gambling tokens they don't have multiple usage. Tokens can be used on their own platforms for gambling and to make revenue out of staking. Users who prefer investing on gambling tokens can also have an overview on the fan tokens which are similar in purpose. However while investing into these coins for long term it is to be considered as an investment without return. Feel happy if it brings good profit.

But IMO, tokens in casinos are only for the reward system and as I've observed, most of them didn't good for investing in the long term.
So adding gambling tokenized to your portfolio is quite risky and you'll never know what will happen to them in the future.  For the long term, give a big allocation to Bitcoin if you want investment in the long term.

better be cautious when it comes to gambling tokens. they can easily die down if the casino itself is not doing good. why push for holding gambling token if it is not worth long-term? you can still find valuable alts but don't invest in new alts with very little proof that devs will honour their promises. from the list of the OP, more then likely, only few of them will survive. most p2e tokens are already showing weak market.

Unfortunately, gambling token is just pure hype as well, just look at the World cup token, they suddenly exploded and now almost every each one of them have died. I remember way back in 2018 this was also the hype, but we haven't seen any success as well. There were even one known casino here who have their own token, but there are multiple accusations against them. They have a good signature campaign, unfortunately, because of this, they were force to cut it after many years and then we never heard from them again, although if I'm not mistaken, the ANN thread is still alive but nowhere the reputation they have like in the era of 2016-2019 of this well known casinos.

Tokenizing their service or their currency has become entirely unnecessary. It has become a type of "bailout" or "printing of money" because you can produce that, and you have to have that kind of safety net, but it will just decrease over time IMO. So they are probably going to use it as a sort of emergency fund, and knowing that the gambling tokens have the majority of tokens in circulation is for sure the casino, they would be cashing it out as well.

Are you referring to the internal game tokens of projects, which are used in games for buying-selling and other internal economy of a particular project? NFT tokens that are used to tokenize in-game items? If so, there's not much point in buying them if you're not an active user of those game projects. If you are an investor, it is enough to buy tokens of the project itself.

So far i haven't encountered any gambling tokens that makes sense. Even if some have better ideas then others, soon you realize that their tokenomics doesn't make any sense.
I wish there were some tokens that tap on this insanely valuable sector, with actually good game theory on their tokenomics. Then i would buy some too.
