Claim to the moderator of the Russian section of Xal0lex

This person became a moderator after spending only a year on the forum and for 2 years of moderation he did not learn how to distinguish between informative and shit posts. I periodically experience the results of his activities on myself. In the Russian section, I have repeatedly pointed out to him the unreasonable deletion of my posts, the time has come to leave a review here.

My opinion is that Xal0lex deletes posts when he does not understand what is written. And given his little experience in the field of blockchain technology, trading and a short stay on the forum, he often does not understand much. After removing a post by him, I have to write a new one with additional explanations personally for him, so that he understands what has been written and does not delete it and this is annoying.

Upon making claims against him, he does not acknowledge that he is not right and begins to unreasonably refer to the rules in order to avoid being convicted of poor-quality moderation. His most odious justification for removing a post was yesterday, "fraud is not moderated," although it was a post, not a report.
links to discussion on the rus local one --- two --- three

He was also explained to him that he did not understand the special status of the moderator and the need for careful selection, when publishing by him topics of announcements of services that could jeopardize the loss of finances.

This topic is the next step in indicating the shortcomings of this moderator, in addition to the previous steps made in the Russian section.

Obviously I have no knowledge of this situation, as I am not a Russian speaker. I would like to make some general comments on moderation though.

Moderators hold the future of the forum in their hands, and it is a big responsibility. They will become unpopular, and this is why many have to remain anonymous. Keeping a forum free of spam, and undesirable posts is a monumental task. However, the deletion of threads and post, or the moving of them to boards that are less desirable in the view of the poster, can be destructive and damaging to the forum. I walked from the mining board because I felt that the moderation there was designed to maintain a small clique of posters, and was not aimed at encouraging members who may be new to mining. I have had projects killed by a moderator, and I am now reluctant to start any new ones. I have seen many comments about similar experiences. What is evident is that the forum has changed, and many good members no longer contribute.

My suggestion is that a moderator reviewer is appointed, and that any post or topic by a Full Member or above is checked by this reviewer, and a moderator who may not be acting in the best interests of the forum or a board is given some guidance. I no longer bother to complain about what I consider to be bad moderation of my posts, as I feel that these complaints don't help the forum. However, it is certain that the forum is losing a many good posts by members as a result of bad moderation. This is not just the posts of the members, but as a result of these members reducing their contributions.

Two deleted posts:

1) You calling someone a clown.
2) You complaining when the "clown" post was deleted.

I don't see how that indicates any wrongdoing on the part of the moderator unless the thread is about clowns, which it isn't.

It seems that your intent was to point out a scam. If you just said "this service/product looks like a scam because <insert some reasoning>" then your post would have a better chance. And if fact there are such posts in that thread.

In connection with the peculiarities of Russian idioms and informal speech, particularly mediocre scammers are called "clowns", and if Xal0lex does not know Russian language well, this is his problem.

A similar proposal was already discussed, but there was a smaller amount of money. In that topic, my comment described  the content of the topic most accurately. It’s not my problem that Xal0lex does not know that it is legal to have one-time cash worth one billion rubles in Russia - not a single bank will issue such an amount, even if it belongs to you by law.

1) You calling someone a clown.

Inaccurate translation. Correct approximate translation:
Quote
кaкиx тoлькo клoyнoв тyт нeт
Quote
wow, what clowns we can found here
I did not call someone a clown literally, there is an informal speech, the essence of which is how mediocre a way of deception is offered in the subject. it’s like in English “barking at the wrong tree” does not mean that they say about a dog.

2) You complaining when the "clown" post was deleted.

Not true, the following message was with a personal explanation for Xal0lex (note, I didn’t even ask who was deleting, I immediately understood whose hands did it):
Quote
Moдep, кoтopый yдaляeт cooбщeния, чтo TC - клoyн, ты дeйcтвитeльнo в yпop нe видишь, чтo этo мoшeнник? Xaлoлeкc, энштeйн ты нaш, я пo тeмe пишy, oбcyждaю пpeдлoжeниe пepcoнaжa.
Quote
The moderator who deleted the message that TC is a cloun, do you really not see that this is a scammer? Xal0lex, you are our Einstein, it's not flood, as I discuss the offer of TS.

I expressed my opinion, once, on a topic, I did not repeat the same thing, did not litter the topic. It did not violate the rules. But my opinion began to be deleted even after further clarification. When I asked about the reasons, he answered "fraud is not moderated", in the course of further discussion, Halolex changed the reason to "trolling". This is not the first time that he removes my post and I needs to spend time and teachings to personally explain to him what others understood.

And I remind personally for suchmoon, I wrote above that this is not an isolated case and Xal0lex often removes much more serious posts. It is strange that I have to explain this to suchmoon, since he knows Russian well and, I am sure, he read my complaints in the Russian section. But for some reason here he shows some kind of ignorance. Somewhere I already saw it ... Wink

Bonus, since we started talking about commenting on fraudulent topics: how did Xal0lex, as a moderator, announce a service that turned out to be fraudulent

Another bonus: Xal0lex likes to often repeat "fraud is not moderated" and constantly reminds everyone of this. At least according to him, he said it a million and one times:

Кcтaти, oтcюдa нoги pacтyт y oбъявлeний нa фopyмe o пoкyпкe aккayнтoв c peпyтaциeй нa localbitcoins, кoтopыe нaши мoдepaтopы cтecняютcя yдaлять. Зacтeнчивыe.

Mля, cтpaнный вы чeлoвeк. "Mиллиoн" paз нa фopyмe гoвopилocь, пoвтopю "миллиoн пepвый" paз: мoшeнничecтвo нa фopyмe нe мoдepиpyeтcя (пyнкт 19). C кaкиx xyёв дeлoв мы дoлжны yдaлять эти тeмы? Кaкиe пpaвилa oни нapyшaют?

Xoтитe чтo-тo пoмeнять в этoм плaнe, пишитe theymos`y и пpeдлoжитe eмy измeнить cвoю тoчкy зpeния пo oтнoшeнию к мoшeнникaм и мoшeнничecтвy нa фopyмe. Moдepaтopы пpи чём?
http://archive.md/wip/K5zTV
After his appearance as a moderator in the Russian local area, fraudulent topics that have nothing to do with the blockchain, for example, offers to participate in carding on localbitcoins, ceased to be deleted because... offtop fraud is not moderated! and there is no obstacle to littering the forum with such garbage. He also began to remove fraud warnings, as in my case.

enough for now

In connection with the peculiarities of Russian idioms and informal speech, particularly mediocre scammers are called "clowns", and if Xal0lex does not know Russian language well, this is his problem.

It's still a useless post in that thread. If I said "there are all sorts of clowns here" in this thread or any thread that doesn't directly deal with clowns (real or idiomatic) I would expect my post to be deleted too.

It's a non sequitur at best. It makes no difference if the OP is a scammer or not - the moderator should not base their decision on that.

And I remind personally for suchmoon, I wrote above that this is not an isolated case and Xal0lex often removes much more serious posts. It is strange that I have to explain this to suchmoon, since he knows Russian well and, I am sure, he read my complaints in the Russian section. And here we go again, vague accusations just because I disagreed with you. Come on, spit it out, what is it? Is Xal0lex my alt?

I wrote this because you pretended that my topic was news for you, although you read it in the Russian version, but you pretend that you did not see my arguments and I have to voice them here again so that you do not mislead people. I know this trick of yours and I will remind people about it every time you try to use it.

My post did not violate the rules and we are not in the ChipMixer's campaign to evaluate posts by the number of letters. The moderator has no right to delete a post expressing the opinion of a person. If he has not learned in 3 years to distinguish trolling from opinion, then such a moderator should not be a moderator.

Another example of moderation. I left a critical post on a topic translating into Russian the article "How Bitcoin Addresses are generated? Understand the Math behind Bitcoin" Bitcoin is 10 years old, for whom is this translation and for whom the original? What is new in this information? I wrote that this is a litter of the forum. My post did not violate the rules, I wrote it 1 time, without repetition, I did not bother anyone. My opinion has been deleted.

Bitcoin turned 10 years old, and they all write instructions on how addresses are generated and even manage to get lost in terminology. For whom is this translation and for whom the original? What is new in this information that the sectarians merited it together? How many more years does the community intend to chew on the ABC book? Cool

But there are a lot of letters - which means a person wrote "a valuable post" Undecided

But in fact, the fouling of the forum

Bitcoin is only 10 years old, bunch of new people are constantly coming, so I am sure that they will appreciate this explanation, and the translation to Russian for those that doesn't understand English good enough, as without knowing proper English, you might not understand it properly as text is a bit tehnical. Kudos to @zasada for the effort and time invested. When i think of it, it deserves translation to other languages as well.

Afterall, this topic is not aimed just at newbies,  there are many others that are into bitcoin for years and probably don't know that and are still learning, and it is far from "ABC book", as you put it. I somehow missed that topic, its actually pretty good and informative, thanks for pointing it out!

With that being said, I am not surprised that your comment has been deleted as it brings 0 value.

Two years ago, I created a topic in the Beginners section to discuss the Mastering Bitcoin 2nd Edition. Just in case, for those who don't know, this is a book about the blockchain technology. In my opinion, it is very important and must be read.

The topic did not violate the rules. A year later, a message appeared in the topic with a link to a printed publication with a Russian translation, the topic poped up, Xal0lex saw the topic and closed it. After that the topic "drowned".

As I said,
Xal0lex deletes posts when he does not understand what is written.
In that case, being a newcomer to whom moderation was entrusted, he did not hear anything about the book and was unable to make a competent decision on moderation. He refused to change his decision.

The topic 💲💲💲 LocalBitcoins Exchange 💲💲💲 was created in the Traders section to exchange information on this service.

The service has the signs of an exchange and is one of the significant objects in the cryptocurrency world, about which both traders and everyone else should know. Before the newcomer Xal0lex appeared on the forum, the localbitcoins were actively discussed in the Traders section, so I and others learned about this useful service. Nobody objected to such discussions.

What has the inexperienced novice and just not a smart person Xal0lex done Huh He moved the topic to the the advertising section of private bitcoin dealers, where it immediately drowned and no one sees it. Newcomers of the forum do not receive information about Lokalbitcoins.

I don't see how that indicates any wrongdoing on the part of the moderator unless the thread is about clowns, which it isn't.

Meanwhile, the author of that topic received for it, besides mine, 2 more negative reviews, and since 19 February 2020, he has not appeared on the forum. Again suchmoon turned to the side of evil:

No measures are taken against the user taikuri13, who is engaged in Chipmixer spam, my comment was deleted, there is no response from the moderator to my complaints. All this is the Xal0lex style, I am sure that it is he who deletes my messages and leaves taikuri13 verbal garbage. There is no reaction to my reports on taikuri13's poor posts.

Xal0lex doesn't like when reported on signature spam:

Пpимepы плoxиx peпopтoв:
...
"cпaм/флyд/кoпипacт"
oт ceбя дoбaвлю: кoнeчнo нe oбязaтeльнo, нo oчeнь жeлaтeльнo.

Translation:
Examples of bad reporting:
...
"spam/flood/copy-paste"
on my own I will add: of course not necessary, but very desirable.

After his appointment as a moderator, reports with the justification of "signature spam" were no longer processed.

The result of the activity of Xal0lex and the inaction of the second moderator is the dead state of the Russian locale. Congratulations.

How this thread reads:

[_img]https://media.giphy.com/media/jnQYWZ0T4mkhCmkzcn/giphy.gif[/img]

It's because you're a signature spammer and a shitposter and this forum has become a disgrace to the community because it's made up of 99% of verbal junk producers.

In the meantime, the Russian locale is dying and there is no need to say that because of the blocking on the territory of Russia, because Russian is spoken in at least nine more countries in which this forum is not blocked.

In the meantime, Xal0lex got a new excuse to delete posts at will - "trolling". So he can delete any message.

...But the locale itself has certainly become ultra toxic. Specifically, here I don’t even want to write anything about the crypt.
