As far as we know, YOGG HAS SCAMMED people and everyone has a right to be angry naturally.
But in my experience if you back people into corners they don’t react well, if there is any way of getting people any kind of recompense it’s worth talking first if possible??
This is by no means condoning what yogg has done and please do report him for this horrendous shit show !

Shout out and a big thank you to yoda being on top of his addys and catching it for everyone! He found this app awhile back, and has been inputing all his physical bitcoin addys to keep track of his holdings the app is called bitcoin address tracker. The app refreshes on its own so thats how he caught it. If you all have time use the app or something similar to it to be able to catch something like this in the future. I know its on apple products not sure about android. you can label your addys to know what is what scan addresses, or manually input them. He told me what happened  while I was at work I rushed home to peel the CC cards I did have.. I was fortunate others were not so lucky my heart goes out to them stuff like this ruins our hobby! it is unacceptable to be morally bankrupt, and do this to people that trusted you karma will play itself out in the end to those responsible.

This is a short update about the situation.
It's 100% my mistake, there has been no hack.
You don't need to break any Coldkey.
The serie affected is the 3rd Halving Coldkey Silver edition and the AP sets. Gold and Bronze sets are unnafected.

I'm at a loss of words regarding my actions and I need to clarify what happened.

This release was to be funded in the halving block but the artwork wasn't ready at that moment.
Keys were generated and kept securely to be applied to the final release.
To prevent any hardware failures, I have made an encrypted USB backup of the keys because these keys were funded all along since the halving.

This is NOT how the rest of the Coldkeys keys have been generated.
I have no reason to keep a privkey as it gets funded only upon receipt.

I have deleted the key files afterwards and totally forgot the backup.

This USB backup I found at my place.
In a moment of weakness, I didn't realized what I was doing.
Then, I started panicking and didn't know what to do at all.

I did a big mess, which turned into a bigger one as I tried to fix it.
Funds are gone.

I wanna give up.
I'm unable to chat with people. I'm unable to handle the project funds. I'm unable to do things in time. I'm unable to organize myself.

I'm unable.
I'm not fit for life.

I am a failure and as such I deserve every inch of what I get.

Sorry for disapointing you all.
That has never been my attention.
I would make a lousy scammer, kinda unable to scam, or just unable.

I am devastated by my own actions. I feel lost here on bitcointalk, I feel lost at my place.

What devastates me even further is having betrayed your trust.

I know no words to express how I feel towards cygan, owlcatz and hookzup but I feel my heart getting  uptight like never when I think of them.

So, I think of selling the project hardware to raise funds and give them back to their owners.

I know from talking to Yogg that France takes the crypto business quite serious. He had to jump through hoops to get his business properly registered, so I would assume that suing Yogg shouldn't be too hard.


The thing that confuses me most right now is that the funds on `3BZDT1rhf7vnabzASuiLzDBBbgDfHivdRd` still haven't been moved. An exchange usually doesn't keep funds in a customers deposit address for this long.

I never mentioned that YOGG was a victim.

There should be consequences for him for what he did. I hope he has remorse for
what happened, it certainly reads that way.

I hope he makes amends and gets funds reimbursed buy it won't pay for the value of the product

I lost trust and respect for Coldkeys, which pours over to every new producer out there.  My beautiful artworks are now thrown in the back of my closet - put away like trash.

I get that you guys like BTC, but I truly love collectibles. Having btc locked away isn’t so much about storing btc for me, but enjoying the art that has gone into each piece.  The funding is comparable to an artist working with gold or silver - it locks away value in a unique way. I will never shy away from funded collectibles, but will def need some time to process this loss.

If someone could please post a picture of any other set besides a Coldkey Silver that was swiped - with holo intact, we can at least stop this narrative that it was a one off deal and only affects the silver halvings (and the raffle funds).

I personally do not feel sorry for Yogg. I feel sorry for you guys who had trust and friendship with someone for years and he threw it all away. What a shitty way to treat your friends.  Also Cygan and Owlcatz - I feel for you guys a ton. Owlcatz for helping the rebuild and Cygan for getting pulled into this mess right before the rug was pulled. And I don’t believe Yoggs narrative a single bit. If you find a usb that has keys stored on it, the first thing ANY reputable maker would do is destroy it. He kept it and I would assume others as his personal piggy bank. Sad sad day in the physical crypto space.

Man, I feel you 100%. This is a cluster-fuck causing some waves affecting many collectible projects in the long run. The only silver-lining I see in this, is that the focus will go back to self-custody. DIY coins will increase in interest and value. Makers will have to adjust their strategies.
But let's see. In "real" crypto, massive exchanges get hacked every year or so. Then you see people shouting "not your keys, not your coins" for a few months just to be back at storing them in some shady CEX a few months later again.

For what it counts I don't buy the "one degen's night" story Yogg is spreading by PM : too many things don't match, the USB appearing magicly out of nowhere, seamingly ( but waiting for confirmation) not only silver cards were swiped, the raffle, resignation from CEA, not to mention he already defaulted on a loan supposed to be repaid last October.

Really sorry for all the collectibles sector actors who are going to bear the real damage from this situation: unfortunately having Btc stolen here is the smallest damage.
Just to make an example I was approaching collectibles thanks to a coldkey card that Cygan had generously gave out in a giveaway and that am now really sceptic about.

For me my loss is the value in the cards that I had to cut up and sweep myself, the .05 loan I made to yogg (you have this proof already) and the 25 cards yogg owed me - 23 for myself and 2 for another collector here that had me purchase them (those are now worthless)
